Nottingham Forest was the legendary football club of the 80s. They were promoted to the premier league with a modest team roster. Big congratulations. With their promotion to the Premier League a good amount of money will enter the club's coffers. I hope they spend this money on the right transfers and be successful in the league. One of the biggest challenges for Nottingham Forest will be for them to stay in the premier league, in my opinion this will not be an easy task, watching their games and looking at the quality of the premier league teams, I think they will be fighting against the premier league teams who will be in the relegation zone

For now we can say it will be difficult for Nottingham to compete in the Premier League, but who knows by being a participant in the EPL competition they get good sponsors
and have enough funds to recruit new players, don't forget the story of Leicester City when they become newcomers in EPL and then champions without famous players
Nottingham certainly will not target the title their mission in the first season is to stay in EPL if successful, the 2nd season will be easier.

I believe that it’s too early to say that they’ll perform poorly, because they’ll have a point to prove given their long absence in the league hence for me they’ll be a team that can cause few upsets in the new season. Also I don’t think that the board would target challenging for the title, rather their main objective would be to finish in 10 - 15th position as that’s a realistic goal which they can achieve.

We know all the teams that are going to play in next season of Championship  if everything goes well on financial side.
Sunderland is finally back in Championship with Wigan and Rotheram, and Norwich is coming back with Watford and Burnley from Premier League.

We are slowly preparing for new season in EFL Championship that should start in the end of July of this year.
Interesting new manager is ex player from Belgium Vincent Kompany who is going to be this year manager for Burnley, and before this he was two years manager of Anderlecht.
I was looking at gambling website sponsorships in Championship League for next season, and this is current status if nothing changes in next month:

EFL Championship finally released exact dates for start of new season 2022/2023 and first match is played between Huddersfield Town and Burnley on Friday July 29.
There is one month time for teams to complete all their transfers and play friendly matches, and I hope we can kick-off new betting season again.

^Damn, did not know at all Kompany's now at Burnley! Shame about Rooney, he had my backing (and my bets) almost all season long, and that team was a joy to bet on when odds were 4/1 and above, honestly.

Burnley ought to be favourites most of the time anyway, so I doubt they'll be value bets. Can't say yet which team will be my new Derby but the first month should give some clues -- I notice teams get a hefty odds penalty away from home, regardless of form, so that's what I'll keep looking out for.

Watford lost their hopeful striker (but they did anyway last relegation and still bounced back) so I'm hoping to snag some wins against them early on when odds should favour them.

not sure what to say, but I will support Welsh duo and Luton town, although almost sure that they will not visit top6 positions when season ends, but I hope that they will not relegate as well

I am happy to say that we are slowly preparing for start of the new season in EFL Championship and first match is scheduled for this Friday between Huddersfield and Burnley.
Both clubs have new managers for this season Danny Schofield and Vincent Kompany, and this is very difficult match to call at this time, so I am not making any predictions now.
Tomorrow I will try to post predictions for some of the matches played in Saturday.

Cardiff vs Norwich
This is my first pick for new season and I can't believe how good the odds are on Norwich to win.
Last few seasons they won matches with Cardiff and I believe they can do it again, they must start with a win if they want to return to Premier league next season.
Cardiff had better results in preseason friendly matches but league matches is totally different game.
I expect Norwich to win but if you want to take safer option you can bet asian handicap and return stake if match ends with a draw.

Rotherham vs Swansea
My second bet is going to be one more away win for Swansea against Rotherham.
Swansea is much netter and stronger team but they had less friendly matches in preparation period so they could start this match slowly and win in second half.
Odds on away win is great but you can make safer bet like in my previous pick.

There is no doubt Burnley is having amazing start of their new season under new coach Vincent Kompnay which came from Belgium for this stunt and most chances he is going to be very aggressive in his new job because after first match surely we can expect results like this from him. Huddersfield were completely outclassed in this match and lucky they have no enough goals from their opponents as they were playing there was chance we have nearly 3 or 4 goals in this match, but just one early goal was enough for them to have full three points in first match of the new season.

No doubt they can win this Championship even it's just first match, but attitude is surely amazing and aggression is also having his own power.

Burnley will do well, I think they were just so, so unlucky last season. I really hope Norwich don't make it out AGAIN, and neither do Watford. They really started this season in worst possible way losing from Cardiff in match with lot of yellow and ed cards.
I had bad luck with both of my predictions and Swansea only got a draw result with Rotherham making this very unpredictable start of championship.
From ten matches played it was five draws and five home wins, without any away win.

Tomorrow match should be very interesting with Sunderland coming back against Coventry.
I wont bet a house on this but I think that Coventry is better team and should win in this match.
Friendly matches and H2H is showing that Coventry was much better, this could be first away win in season and I think double chance is a good bet

Good to see activity started again here with the early start of new season and first day is not good enough for punters as we have most of the games ends in draw yesterday Burnley done good job under new coach V Kompany a good and aggressive game against Huddersfield today we have few teams done poor job and with this poor start of new season we can feel a quality competition between these teams for next promotion.

On first day of new season we have very few goals from all teams as mostly were on defensive mod with heat is still on and players can face some trouble with this all, hopefully this all will be change after 4 or 5 weeks because after this time weather could be better, and we will have good entertainment from these quality teams.
