World Cup is in final stages and we have EFL Championship matches back for this weekend with Round 23.
There is one match played in Friday that is Birmingham vs Reading and both teams will have some missing players.
Reading was better in two last H2H matches with Birmingham and they returned from break with win against Coventry.
WIth three points heer Reading is getting back in the race for Premier League and play-off zone.
It's not always easy to win at St. Andrew's Stadium, but I like the odds on double chance X2 and I am going for that with lower stakes.

Deeney's brace made the difference (didn't even realise Tahith Chong now plays for B'ham until I saw his name on the scoresheet!). I remember him playing in EPL and he was way too clumsy, but robust. Best suited for Championship, indeed.

My pick on Sunderland X2 is winning at the moment, but match is boring and no shots on goals from both sides in first half
Middlesbrough is currently leading 1:0 against Burnley so they are certainly looking much better after break during World Cup.

Morocco lost, so my big acca went to waste, heh. I definitely knew Morocco were handicapped (literally!) but they'd been playing so well despite back line problems because their attack has been so brave.

But luck ran out for them finally, while Croatia's turned.

Anyway, was looking/hoping for a tie today (I would have lost money yesterday on Boro) but Luton/Milwall is postponed, didn't know. So ended up doubling down on Argentina/Liverpool and adding tomorrow's Blades, and an ongoing U21 match in England =)

I think efl championship is becoming much more challenging than before. It's a good thing to see Burnley FC at the top of the league for this long. And I believe that if they are continuously bent on doing, they may likely win theirr next EFL championship title after waiting for more than 60 years. There's still much time for clubs like Barnsley,wardford, and Huddersfield to fight their way back into the top of the EFL championship table. For now, I don't think Burnley will give up on this opportunity.

Sheffield United have to win in the top race to push Burnley and widen the points gap with the teams behind them. But Sheffield United are putting up a cautious fight, especially away. Although they takes risks in certain parts of the match they downshifts after scoring a goal and puts defensive safety in the foreground. I think that Wigan's priority in this match will be not to make mistakes in defense. I think Sheffield will be the winner in this match, which i expect to take place at a calm pace.

Sheffield is now seriously close to Burnley with only three point difference and this promises very interesting rest of Championship title and promotion race.

There is one match for tomorrow Coventry vs West Brom, and both teams are surprisingly in mid table fighting to avoid relegation zone, but recent results are good for bot of them.
It's hard to pick winner here but I think that West Brom has more qulity and less problems with injuries.
Coventry advantage is their great attacking player Gyoneres who is currently best goals scorer in Championship with 10 goals.
I see both team scoring here but otherwise I would avoid betting on this match, except maybe over 2.5 goals.

Speaking of Burnley, I've got them over 7/1 to beat United tonight -- odds are creeping towards 8/1 though!

Late win for Coventry in stoppage time and they got three points with getting one step close to play off zone.
I can't believe West Brom is sinking lower, but difference between relegation and playoff zone is only ten points!
Next round of EFL Championship in starting next Monday, with busy schedule and three rounds from December 26 to January 2.

Championship Round 24 is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, and all teams need to prepare for lot of matches in next week.
There are few matches I noticed that could be interesting for betting with good odds.

Watford should beat Millwall at home and they have very good H2H record against them, but they are missing few players so be careful with stakes.
Millwall is known for playing lot of draw matches, so safest bet for me is asian handicap Watford (0) or draw no bet.

Middlesbrough vs Wigan
Wigan is one of the worst teams in Championship and they never beat Middlesbrough in recent years.
Odds are not great on home win but I think Middlesbrough will be better.

Luton vs Norwich
Home team is missing many players and I think that quality is on Norwich side.
I am taking risky away win here, and safer option is asian handicap Norwich (0).

Burnley tomorrow will want to ensure they keep their cushion, if only the odds were better, I'd be backing B'ham City here but not even 6/1? What can I say, crazy results on boxing day in Championship.
I would never think that Watford could lose this match, and red card in first half helped Millwall who played much better today.
Sheffield United was only team that won easily but I didn't consider them in any of my bets

Burnley tomorrow will want to ensure they keep their cushion, if only the odds were better, I'd be backing B'ham City here but not even 6/1? Easy pick for Burnley on my next acca... but I've already added Norwich to a new one =D

I don't know what to think about tomorrow matches.
Birmingham is missing a bunch of players for this match so this should make things easier for Burnley.
On other match I think Swansea could win, they are much better in H2H matches with Reading and home team is missing more players.

Yup. Failed one acca thanks to Norwich, but I picked Burnley on the head, so far so good for my acca picks from EFL, just over 50% accuracy, and I've always picked them above 2/1 so it's working out well so far -- unfortunately, didn't have the same fortune from regular games.

I'd go tomorrow for QPR who want a home win to creep into 6th, Blades and Burnley again. But for single bets? Take PNE away at over 5/1 -- they've been finding ways to score again this team!

They have new manager Critchley and they didn't lose a match since he took charge, QPR have good h2h record against Luton, and away team have some missing players.
With win here QPR is going in Permier play-off zone, so I would say that everything is pointing toward home win and odds are really good.
If you want to make it safer you can try asian handicap QPR (0).

Second bet I would consider is away win for Sheffield against Blackpool, because they are in great form.
Only concern for me is traditionally hard matches between this two teams, and missing players for both teams, so there is a chance for a draw.

Yeah, I don't really see stats as helpful in Championship but Critchley does have an effect early on and there's incentive to finish well for the year, agree great odds. I'm going all 1x2 here for best value (on my strat heh).
