The wallet wasn't working because you need to start the daemon and have it sync before the wallet will connect to it.

You have to wait for the daemon to finish downloading the blockchains only then will your wallet not throw up errors. And no ours is BCN and is traded here on Polo https://poloniex.com/exchange/btc_bcn

Latest version (May 20) minerd results much better compared to simpleminer.

I've noticed that as well. Somehow it does not utilize the CPU as good as simpleminer (even though the performance is better)
My total CPU usage varies between 30-100% using all my 4 cores.

UNBELIEVABLE actually, seeing above same! there are over 100 active miners, Alternative QuarzCoin pools do exist, but you want to mine with decent hash rate

TEMPORARILY I wrapped mining software in the cron restarting every 2 minutes (it helps) it is RIDICULOUS I had to do this, PEOPLE ARE FIGHTING FOR YOUR BUSINESS , QUARTZ IS NEW.. SO NOT TOO MANY CHOICES

I NEED TO HAVE MY FUND UNLOCKED ASAP, THEY NEED TO FIX THESE THINGS TO BE TREATED SERIOUSLY IN THIS BUSINESS

I would not be surprised if *one* is in charge of technical development, the funny part is password recall. lets say you lose password, no way to get back in.. but haha it does not matter cause you can not withdraw your funds.. it is both sad and funny

Ok, better, thank you , please provide ETA (approximate) next time, will inform community on resolution, for NOW I am extending trust and mining continues uninterrupted (would rather NOT want to scream on forums) TRANSPARENCY AND TRUST IS THE KEY

PLEASE also look into the TIMEOUTS people are reporting here! I am forced to perform CRON around mining calls.. which costs me shares

very easy to replicate it, occur often and once they happen, miner is blocked forever (no recovery) I worry about > 100 miners who are not paying attention to this (their loss is my loss, this is pool after all , you want to have decent pool hash rate, cool ? ok ...)
