Don't you guys get it yet... don't get a pre-order because the prices are going to drop as proven with this. They'll probably drop more. Smart money is wait for "in-stock" and "hosted" to come together then jump on it.

How is it possible to lower prices to pre-order?. I've lost 70 USD and I still have nothing. Until you pass the expected date of delivery, should be no price cut.

Furthermore, paypal is important, because in Spain, they charge € 42 for a transfer in dollars

You know, from a business perspective GAW should give all the preorders hashing power commensurate to the difference in the price instead of doing refunds. Seems like that would be a lot easier on everyone.

They got a better deal than expected...so they are giving you back the difference.

This was stated in a previous post, not in super great detail, but enough to know it will cost you less money for the same product.

I agree, it would be easier for everybody which is why I'm glad Zeus chose to go that route instead of changing the $$$ for EVERY order.

Slightly off-topic but when I asked Zeus about hosting they said they would send the miner to GAW for hosting. I guess Zeushosting is Gawhosting.

Whats going on with the War Machine? I bought week three and paid $6800, its now $5999? I still haven't received a product but I have purchased it, and the price dropped by $900?

All prices were cut and they're going to credit everyone.
Read some posts before.

 Wink

Thanks for that. It's sometimes hard to sift through so many posts, but I did find it. I wish they'd update the page 1 on top everytime they posted updates.

You're right, there's no "clear statement" regarding the credit.
But it's official:

Hello Everyone!

Our pre-orders were better then expected! As a result, we were able to double most of our purchases. What does this mean? A lower price to you!

And this time............ before you actually buy Smiley

Naturally, all existing orders will be credited the difference. When you email support for the credit (as I know you all will Smiley) Please please be patience. We will have a huge spike in tickets because of this change. I promise you, everyone will get the adjusted price. Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

There was a bug in the code that updated the new pricing, so it was much lower then it should have been. Its been adjusted now. Obviously those that got in orders in, will get the pricing when they bought. As it says in monopoly, bank error in your favor Smiley

GAW people...

It would very interesting if you publish in OP, official website or wherever, the price cut and the credit policy.

Some people are getting confused because there were only 1 post in the middle of 50 pages informing this.

Regards...  Wink

PS.: ... waiting for more hosted miners with the new price...  Grin

Just an idea here. Why not price products fairly to begin with ? Then you would not have to come up with this sliding scale scheme. Are you trying to tell us that you were paying 2X the price for blades before the price drop ? If something costs a fraction of the sales price it will be only a matter of time before your customer base finds out, feels deceived and then goes somewhere else; especially this customer base. I am all for free markets and supply/demand equilibrium, but with a monopoly on products (affordable scrypt miners) you are in control; not the market. just my tupence.

Thank you for at least acknowledging the issue and attempting to make it right.

Re: GAWMiners.com - THE WAR MACHINE 54 MH Scrypt Miner! $5,599.95

You now switching the freaking price on the Warmachine Week 3 up to 5899... WTF. I really think you should honor that price for us who have purchased the War Machines on pre-order. This price change after price change after price change is really freaking me out.

Screenshot for proof:

I saw this, prices were jumping all over the place for a minute or two.  I tried to get an order in but couldn't.  Fury's were at $129 for a moment (week 1).

There is a piece of software that gives the whole company new pricing to use. It has a bug in it, so it was spitting out lower pricing then it should have. Its all set now.

I think what he is stating in regards to this thread is it still says 5,599.95 and the site shows 5899.95
