I've been a customer for awhile and have posted a positive "review" of GAW before but I thought I'd toss up something else. I'm still a bit noobish here at bitcointalk but I'm pretty active so hopefully I won't be accused of being Josh. If that does happen I want the accuser to find the keys to my Ferrari because I misplaced them.

Anyway, like others I've had to use the support system with my Blades many times because they are finicky beasts. I have one next to me to prove that and the GAW hosted Blades are actually more stable which is pretty nice. In any even, Joe, Luke and Jeff have been pretty good at getting things resolved and while they are not as fast as I'd like sometimes it always gets done. On the fast part that is partly my fault because I set the bar so high I expect immediate results! Lol, you know what I mean when you discover you've been losing hash for like an hour and you start sweating... Usually a good time for a beer.

Josh and I have had a back-and-forth also but he's been pretty straight with me and when he says he will do something he comes through. For example, I snagged a late hosted Black Widow that looks like it wasn't supposed to be up on their site but was there... I bought it just the other day! He could have said sorry, that was a glitch lets work something out next week or week three. He didn't. He got the Widow hooked up and it's hashing away (12.9something average MHs.)

I don't feel like I'm being scammed. I feel like I'm getting what I paid for. I will buy from them again.

Haha, love it....I wonder how we would do if we gave away a free car with every miner Smiley

You'd be the Oprah of ASIC distributors. You get a car! And you get a car! . . .  Grin

Looks like the DHL express shipping really is express. Last update had the package in Ohio. Should be here in about a day hopefully. Thanks for the free upgraded shipping.  Smiley

That's because you're doing it wrong reactor. You made a thread where you call GAW a scam and have it in your signature, which means your every post insults this business.

Above all, this is the most important comment that has been stated about this subject.
He removed it, maybe you could stop deleting his posts for a while, let's see if he can behave.

I will honor that request, but only because its from you Smiley

But, we have no interest in publicly engaging, or rehashing the past, or things that have already been discussed. So I am not sure what we will talk about Smiley
Just a friendly gesture Smiley

He removed the signature when asked, so looks like he's tired of this situation. As someone already pointed out, if you keep banning removing everything he posts we won't see his positive comments Smiley

Just sit tight for at least 1 day, Reactor. I've dealt with big hardware companies like Dell and they usually need 2 weeks or more to review any claim, while here you get daily updates.

You showed some good will removing the sig, GAW stopped deleting your posts (as long as you can keep it civil). Chill, wait till you get your package and let us know how it went.

Presume you guys are banging away at getting order information out.  Alas, my week 1 fury is still marked "Awaiting Fullfillment".

Any ETA on when your will be caught up, so that we know if we have a real issue vs. just a paperwork catchup one?

Kind of hoping I hear the doorbell ring real soon now. <smile>

ps.  Who won the best GAWification contest?

I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything.  I received my Zen Controller today, but when I got to register it the link doesn't go anywhere yet.  I'm guessing it's still not setup?
If so, what is recommended to use to start mining?  I have a Mac I can connect my Fury to until the Zen Controller is ready.

Thank you!

My fault there, sorry for the confusion.  I have not received the Fury yet (I'm stilling hoping it comes today though, Fedex and UPS haven't made their runs yet).  I'm just making sure I'm all prepared for it when it does arrive

GAWMiner
  Got my zencontroller.  Thanks.

Is it one per order or one per miner?  I ordered two furys.  Just checking.  Thanks again.  Hope to see my furys tracking soon.

Can you give us info on stats (A/R/HW, hashrate), pool stability, etc.?  I think since we know the performance can vary based on pool/coin we'll want a list of what pools and configs work best. Smiley

Here is a screenshot from my hosted dashboard. There is a bug in the UI that is causing A/R/HW not to show on the main dashboard. My War Machine rebooted a few minutes ago, so I'll give it a little bit of time to run and then post a better A/R/HW screenshot for you. Pool stability has been great. There is still a bug with pool configs that Jeff is working on sorting out. Rejects are extremely low (0.02%) but discards are high (about 25%). Even with high discard errors, it hashes higher than the advertised 54MH/s.

Screenshot running on Clevermining (short term sample).

Here is a screenshot from Nicehash. The part I circled in red was over night, War Machine only. The average was about 60Mh/s.

I have not had any constant restart issues with the War Machine. I used to have that issue with my blades, but that has been fixed now (and I only have 1 blade now anyways).

^^ cut images, made reply crazy long

Awesome!  You said you're working with Jeff @ GAW, does he have any idea about the high discard rate?  Someone mentioned their war machine being toned down to 54M before and the 'reject' rate went down, not sure if that included just reject or is a combined r/hw, so do we know if it is overclocking that is leading to that?  That's the case on the other scrypt chips out there, run them slightly too high on frequency and things go haywire (every G-blade I have but one runs at 838 like a charm, but one produces ~15% error rate at 838 and < 1% HW rate at 825), and makes sense based on the type of hashing these are doing, but seeing if y'all have any other observations from running hardware.
I have not asked Jeff about the high discard rate yet. We will get there, but there are bigger fish to fry right now. I don't know anything about the war machines being clocked up/down, they may have done that. I have never seen high rejects on mine, only high discards. I'm certain that after some tuning/tweaking, we will get these minor issues resolved. I say they are minor because it's still hashing over advertised/purchased speed with this problems.

True, but if the hardware is running at a freq over what the chips can handle that's a recipe for killing the life of the device.  I'll have very few options with the Fury for optimization due to limited capacity of the device but still want to get each KH out of it I can.  That's why I'm curious to hear more reports from the folks with hosted hardware in regards to stats, pools, coins, etc. (since y'all actually have numbers we can talk against).

But if, say, the hardware can only safely handle ~45M on a WM and 54M really is pushing the hardware that much leading to super high HW errors, kinda like the vold modders, some folks may want to run hardware hotter for more net hashrate and not be concerned with the life of the device vs. those of us who prefer to stay within the bounds of being the device happy and living to be a happy old, er, device. Smiley
Very true, and I agree. However, if you purchased a 54Mh/s miner and it already runs at 60Mh/s maybe the tweaking/modding has already been done for you. Gridseed left a lot of extra hash on the table. If these already came fully optimized (and over hashing) and need no modding, I have NO issue with that.

For me personally, life of the device is a moot point. I won't have these miners long enough to matter. Once they ROI I will sell them off and move to the next ASIC. Same thing I did with GPUs, Gridseed pods and then blades. Got to stay ahead of the curve.

Another happy GAW customer here.  I've ordered (and received) 2 Gridseeds from them in the past and just completed an order for a Fury.
Very happy with the service (Amanda was great!) and looking forward to getting the Fury and included Zen Controller!

Also received my Zenminer this afternoon. Has anyone tried to run gridseeds on it yet?

Also, I have yet to see an answer about whether you will get a second zencontroller on an additional order. My brother wants me to purchase a fury for him but I just want to make sure I will get another controller.

Thanks guys, and keep up the great work. My DHL shipment just updated from Honk Kong to Cincinatti! Should be here tomorrow.

I've been running gridseeds off a PI for several weeks now.  Found cpminer 3.7.2 built for the gridseeds the most stable version.  Personally using a Gentoo Linux build, but I doubt that matters.
