The problem with appointing a new coach is how will the team react to it. I don't follow Turkey too close, but I can say that it can take some time for a new coach to adapt to the team and vice versa. However, Turkey is only 2 points behind Netherlands and Norway so I guess the next match against Norway will give them some answers. After that match they play against two rather weak teams (Latvia and Gibraltar) so I think they still have good chance to see Qatar next year.

Taking into account they have to calculate the odds of thousands of bets then it makes sense that some of the bets are not perfectly priced and there are distortions from the get go, however taking into account the precision of their algorithms I think this is something they are willing to live with and accept it as part of the limitations of their algorithms, but I think it is likely that as you say they manually review the odds of matches with lots of volume to avoid losing money if they made a mistake, and even then many casinos have a clause on their TOS which states that any bet that is obviously wrong can be made void if they want, so I do not think this is such a huge issue for them.

And if their form has dipped recently, then there may be a chance that it was due to some reason other than the coach. My opinion is that changing the coach at this point may result in further chaos and disorganization. Güneş was made a scapegoat. Can Stefan Kuntz get adjusted with the team members immediately? It may take some time for that.

As far as I know, Kuntz is a great coach, in addition to having and applying a lot of discipline, I think he must make the pertinent changes so that the team has a better result, Norway is a team that becomes very strong, In addition to its style football is usually something different and they don't play bad at all.

In fact, the form of the players depends on the clubs and not on the coaches of the national teams because the clubs determine the plan for the season and the peaks / downturns of the players' functional readiness. So we really shouldn't blame Şenol Güneş. I think those who made the decision to resign the coach are more knowledgeable about the situation within the team and perhaps they decided that it wouldn’t be worse. Well.. if there are issues between the coach and the players, then it may be best to replace the coach. As you mentioned, replacing the players is not a good option. But it needs to be analyzed about the reasons for the rift between two camps. The management should not entertain unreasonable demands from the players. If they do that, what is the guarantee that they won't do the same against the new coach? What happened here is that Şenol Güneş was being made a scapegoat, as he was an easy target.

A national coach has to work hard on teamwork, so the chosen players can work well together. This sometimes involves years of work, involving these players early on, in the youth teams.

The problem starts to arise, when the coach starts to only choose certain players, just because he likes them and not for their quality, to the detriment of others who are having much better performances. This unbalances the group, and even if everyone gets along well, the results are not going to be very positive.

Kuntz is a good coach, as he has shown time and again with the successes of the German U21s. But the problems of Turkish football are deeper than that a single coach could create a big turnaround. It may be difficult for Turkey to qualify first in their group. Let's not forget that there is the Netherlands, which is always a difficult team. It may be difficult for Turkey to qualify first in their group. Let's not forget that there is the Netherlands, which is always a difficult team. Well, to be honest, Günes has mainly only coached two-class Turkish clubs (except Besiktas), some of which are even only third-class by international standards. Kuntz has become European champion with the German U21, after the German U21 had won nothing in Europe for years. He has trained and promoted many players who are world class today. I think he has the tactical and strategic level to train and improve the Turkish national team.
