Yeah.. there were reports a few months back regarding this. Terence Crawford is happy with the terms being offered to him, but from what I have heard Manny Pacquiao is not happy with his purse. This is very surprising, since Manny hasn't had a boxing match during the last two years. If the reports are true, then he needs to stop worrying about the purse and agree to the fight. And he needs to do that soon, as the deadline is fast approaching.

Is anybody interested in this fight? as for me as much as I want these to great aggressive boxer fight again I have a feeling that their fight wouldn't be as intense as they were in their younger years. what I want to see is for them to fight younger opponents to show that they still have it and wouldn't be overpowered by the younger generation.

I agree, there's no more hype, Marquez already turn it down despite a huge offer from Bob Arum when he was still managing Pacquiao. Marquez doesn't want Pacquiao to get his revenge on him.

I agree with Tim Bradley, I guess Manny cannot be underestimated as his last fight was impressive, IMO, Thurman and Crawford is almost of the same level in boxing, and I guess Manny could give Crawford a real challenge. What we have is just our personal opinion and speculation, but let's see if who will win in this fight, if we believe Crawford will win easily, then let's put a bet on him.

Nah I don't think so, Cause his last fight is amazing, and 41 years old for sports is not that old. to be considered as a major disadvantage, especially when the body of the athlete is regularly maintained.

Different people surely have different opinion, all based from how they believe from each fighter. Pacquioa even on his age now still
got those skills and once you give him the chance or you give him some good looks he'll attack you to the point of knocking you out,
same with Crawford, it's still hard to say who'll win this fight.

The fight itself will determine until the ref decide it and announce the winner then that will remove all the question mark.

Each country is different so I do not know how things work on the Philippines, but if Manny wants to run for president he will at some point in time do it, now maybe he losses and that is fine, if the citizens of the Philippines have a good president and now they expect more from their leaders then there is nothing wrong with that, to my knowledge it is very difficult to make the transition of being a sports celebrity to a politician but it can be done if people are tired of their leaders, but with an approval rating so high it will be difficult for Manny to win in the case he makes a run for the presidency.

Even though the approval rating is high but doesnt mean or give out guarantees that it can really give out the chance for him to become president or people would really be voting him.
