Just a quick update for the Dream League Season 24, group stage 2. The last day will be tomorrow but there have been teams that were already eliminated even if they still have one day and game to play later. These are the guaranteed eliminated teams that won't be reaching the playoffs.

• Tundra Esports
• Team Waska
• Xtreme Gaming

And there's one that will be eliminated, it's either Team Spirit or Team Liquid so both of them need to win with their series but Team Spirit is at a better situation. Because if Team Spirit wins, even if Team Liquid wins, they're out. But if Team Spirit losses against Team Falcons, we might get a tiebreaker. But Team Liquid being against BetBoom, that's a tough one so, may the best team wins and gets in to the playoffs.

An additional update on this one, Team Liquid is already out of the playoffs. BB went 2-0 against them and congratulations to Team Spirit, they are in and still fighting on map 3 against Tundra so win or lose, they will participate the playoffs. I've placed a bet on the last match of the day, Tundra and Waska. I can't take the odds @ 1.17 so, I'm going for the over 2.5 maps and giving that @2.50 odds which I like.

I'd rather take Tundra -1.5 though. Team Waska would be a fodder for Tundra's frustation  . Well atleast this is what I hoping for but in reality it could go both ways as Team Waska is frustated as well that they dont qualify for the playoff

Well, that's okay. Good luck to both of us, we've got different thoughts about this match. And that's it Team Waska has nothing to lose for this match, so instead, they might try to at least pull this one and win at least one map and make it to map 3 and besides, I like the odds that's shown for over 2.5.

Thats what I thought as well which was why the optimal decision for me would be to take Tundra and it looks like I got it. Not gonna lie, first game was quite close for the first 5-10 minutes but Im glad that Tundra pulled it off.

5th place for Tundra, it was not bad at all. They could have done better imo, they won against BB which was impressive because BB only lost to Tundra but somehow they kept losing to the other top teams then eventually lost to XG. If they had won against XG then Tundra would be able to tiebreak for 3-4th place

I'm rolling with the over 2.5 maps for the lower bracket match between Parivison and Team Falcons. Initially, I want to take Parivision here knowing Team Falcons have been underperforming, but this could also be the series where Team Falcons switches it up.

On the upper bracket match, i'll keep it simple with BetBoom. This team is hitting its peak right now, and Team Spirit barely got away with the tiebreaker win yesterday.

Actually I made a bet with the match of Extreme Gaming versus Parivision, first and second game is quite close but the third game might a close game, imagine the XG already dominated the game with their weaver and storm combo, but another mistake like Ame did, he never help on the clash just keep pushing rax reason why they lose the game, and he made to buy linken for the late game. Actually, they have the damage but SK doesn't makes an impact after BB got an item and they always catch the Oracle. Also Pugna really have a great sustain right here. I see NoOne frustration in early game lol.

I didn't have that much bet on this DreamLeague playoffs and I do think that this is quite boring. I guess that I am used to playoffs with 8 teams or more in participation but it is understandable on this playoffs when they've went the route of having 2 sets of group stage. It's just a term thing but we're actually already on the semi and quarter finals that they have shortcut it through changing the rounds.

Going for 2.5 maps is a good bet if you don't want to get into the match winner. Both teams are good but if I'll also bet, I'd probably think that Team Falcons got this.

I agree and you've won with your bet and I've lost.  
That's okay again for me. I was able to cope with the last match of Team Spirit and BetBoom and the odds gave me 4.50 for the series winner so I just took the risk again.




It turned out that this bet of mine lost. 
That 1.17 BetBoom odd can't take but still congratulations to BB for entering the grand finals, they're now waiting there whoever wins with Team Spirit and Team Falcons but I think I'll be pushing for Team Falcons here.

Alright, all regions now in Dota 2 are going to start in the Upper Bracket Quarter Finals for the qualification in the ESL One Bangkok Thailand. I'll just give one interesting region out there and that's the Western Europe Qualifiers. 2 slots for them.

EEU region is totally owning the chart right now alongside Falcons. On the other side, Nigma will have their qualifiers the easiest among all the others. We're on the same page but other than the two, I like to see OG gets back on the stage again with this roster that they have. I think they have a stronger roster this time so we will see.

Sadly, only four teams got the direct invite through EPT points. They're the Parivision, Team Spirit, BetBoom and Team Falcons. As for Nigma, the only top tier in the MESWA region, I don't think that they're confident that they'd get it because every unknown team now can beat the old geezers.

True, with all these participating teams, it's more of a minor online tournament than a regional qualifier.

My top two are Tundra and then Team Liquid because both had a decent run in the DreamLeague just before they fell short in the second group stage.

The MESWA qualifiers should be a breeze to Nigma i'll be surprised if they still can't survive against these unknown teams when all of them don't have any notable players.

Speaking of Tundra and Team Liquid, both won straight 2-0 earlier today. As for GG - OG, it was 2-0 for GG as well. I lost my over 2.5 maps bet on that one

I think Im going to try again and this time Im betting on Team Liquid to boot GG to lower bracket lol. Im salty that I didnt win my 1st slip because of GG

The results seem to be expected for both the Asian and American RMR. I'm also excited about the EU RMR since we could see some underdogs rise to the occasion.

I'll continue to ride Team Liquid's momentum for the next series as the winner secures the first slot for ESL One Bangkok. It won't be easy to sweep Avulus, but I think it's worth a shot if they don't go too crazy with the draft, unlike Tundra with the unusual Sven pick.

Had a bet on Gaimin Gladiators yesterday when they went up against Team Liquid.
Thought it was going to be competitive but the Gladiators just destroyed them on every map they played.
It was just a massacre, so not competitive one bit.
When I placed the bet they were the favorites but then I checked back just before the game started and they were suddenly the underdogs by a wide margin.
Even for these BO3 tournaments are difficult to predict for dota2.
