Just started watching Elite League and noticed Team Falcons vs Heroic was a BO2 because it is round robin stage, so of course it ended 1-1.

All of the matches on this round robin stage are all best of 2 and this is a crucial stage to be honest because it's hard to get a 2-0 and with many teams having tied up with 1-1 score, I won't be surprised if by the end of this stage there will be a lot of tie breakers.

They just started the match for the Team Spirit versus a team I had not heard of before G2.iG

It's actually Invictus Gaming(IG), they're a former TI winner that has won it on 2012. Whilst G2 is a known organization in CS2 if I'm not mistaken, they're sponsoring now for IG and they're doing good at this moment because they're ranked #1 for this Elite league for this round robin stage but it's not yet done as there are still three days left. By the way, this is the recap for the third day of this RR.

Spirit is 0-3 in Elite League so far and last place in their group and I think some changes might happen within Team Spirit Dota 2 team and Miposha might take a break as he helped this team to reach the highest level of Dota not once but twice.

Today they lost the series against Entity after leading in both maps in networth but eventually Wattson showed us why he is the highest ranked player in Europe and why he is having 13k mmr just like 23savage. 

It sucks to be a Team Spirit fan right now. They are just not finding their groove in the Elite League even though they are still top tier players with a lot of things to still offer in the Dota scene. And yes, Miposhka might be benched after this tournament no matter the outcome and just rest it out for a bit. That man has always wanted to have a 'long vacation' based on some of his interviews and play Dota without any pressure.

I doubt that they're doing that on purpose. Look at some of their games, their drafts are the usual, and the way Miposhka and Collapse plays around the map is what you would typically expect of Team Spirit on other tournaments as well. It may be that other teams are just better currently, leading to Team Spirit placing badly on the tournament and not being that team that everyone knows.

Either way, it's still good if they can claw their way back up, but I somehow doubt it at this point in time.

This one might be the 2-0 match you were wanting it to be for the Falcons.

Unfortunately, it ended in a draw because their draft felt forced with the Weaver carry. It nearly failed on the first map if Heroic didn't lose their patience and on the second map, they still went for a similar draft like they were limit testing. Then in their next series, they quickly 2-0'd a much better team (Azure Ray).  

I doubt that they're doing that on purpose. Look at some of their games, their drafts are the usual, and the way Miposhka and Collapse plays around the map is what you would typically expect of Team Spirit on other tournaments as well. It may be that other teams are just better currently, leading to Team Spirit placing badly on the tournament and not being that team that everyone knows.

Either way, it's still good if they can claw their way back up, but I somehow doubt it at this point in time.

I was also curious how they're suddenly giving out 2-0s, and it appears more than half of their games are close losses where it's decided through one or two big team fights in the mid to late game.

It's still doable, but they'll need a flawless performance for their three remaining series.

Its impossible that they arent that aware about the elimination, they would really be needing to cope up if they would be liking to be selected on playoffs.
They are really indeed playing into their usual drafts but ended up on lose, There's also i have noticed on Yatoro's carry which not really that too aggressive? Or im the only one
whose seeing this?.

Currently they do have that 1-7 standing which is on the bottom the round robin stage. So i would likely say that they cant make it
to playoffs. Dont know on how long this round or selection to last because im not really get used to this kind of very long group staging.

It's not that they're doing that on a purpose. Many fans are not just used to their performance because they're not like this. They're still good but it seems that many of the participating teams are good as well and have learned a lot watching their replays knowing how they gank, and move around the map.

I'll temporarily move to League bets while waiting for the Elite League playoffs on Friday. TES knocked JDG down to the lower bracket last weekend and i'd assume they'll do better now that they get to face a weaker opponent.

Imperial Esports is making another run to the finals with their win against paiN gaming the other day.

They are not probably not the best team around right now compared to some teams like Falcons and Team Liquid but those 3 are still pretty good though

Despite all of their efforts, they're part of the 8 teams that will be eliminated on this round robin stage. Now, there are three teams that are part of the tie breaker, AR, PSG.Quest and G2.IG.

Yup, I agree.

They deserve it and it's truly a blessing for them and with the ESL Birmingham, there will be EPT points and they will for sure not going to miss this chance.

Poor 1win, it should be one of their ways to get easy access to TI by ending some good placer and with higher points.

Those three teams have at least one of the best LGD players (NTS on G2.IG, Ame on XG, and Faith_bian on AR), so it's expected to see them rise slightly above the rest.

This is what i have in mind too on which if you do try to look the games played by TS then you could really see that their games is a little bit odd. They arent that making good drafts and not really that making good executions of their skills or simply they are outdrafted? If they are really that saving up some strategies for bigger tourney with bigger prize pool then its their call but its better that they will really be able  to
make good standing but it seems that they arent that interested on the prize pool and might really be that aiming for the next one. They are really indeed aggressive if they are really that seeing bigger pool
and this is where tons of speculations or assumptions that they are really that saving up their strat and this is why arent serious on the current Elite league.

But they came back with a defeat of Fluxo in a challengers match for ESL.

We're now in the playoffs of the Elite league and there are 8 teams remaining but sure after the next day, 2 teams will be eliminated. After the tie breakers of three teams, Azure Ray, G2.IG and PSQ.Quest, the one that has emerged to the upper bracket is Azure Ray. Ready your bets folks because this is where the most crucial games are going to happen and no team wouldn't want to get beaten but definitely those teams that are in the top bracket have the advantage after they lose, they won't get eliminated but will have their last chance in the lower bracket. It's interesting that two good teams are found in the lower bracket, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports, do you think that one of them will have a cinderella lower bracket story making it to the finals?

Impressive run winning seven matches in a row during this competition before Fluxo finally managed to win one later in the day.

Their current record for the challenger league is also impressive with only 2 losses out of 16 matches played. They're probably halfway through locking one of the top two spots for the Pro League S20.

It's interesting that two good teams are found in the lower bracket, Gaimin Gladiators and Tundra Esports, do you think that one of them will have a cinderella lower bracket story making it to the finals?

Gaimin Gladiators have a good road to the finals assuming they face XG, and I expect the opposite on Tundra as they could be the first team that can get eliminated from the playoffs.

Then again the Chinese teams are on a roll right now and I think they have the better chance at grabbing that final spot from the lower bracket.

Well not for G2.IG for sure and I didnt expect GG to beat the 2-0 up. I guess GG is back onto their playoff mode? they rarely dissapoint in playoff though but Im not really expecting them to be able to get to the final considering that the current upper bracket teams are pretty dominant
