Anyway back to the fight, it's hard to believe that GGG can manage to get a win especially this time when his body is already weary while Canelo is still on his prime but who knows, an upset is always around the corner. What I'm seeing is that GGG can withstand 12 full rounds and still give Canelo a struggle on their upcoming trilogy this September.

Since Canelo vs GGG I, it's always Canelo was in his prime but still, there's a doubt if he really dominates GGG at those 2 meetings.

If only Canelo has a satisfying win, I think the trilogy won't ever happen. There is something that needed to settle that's why regardless if GGG is still in good shape or not, this trilogy is a must thing to happen.

Canelo's lost to Floyd early on his career, he was still very young that time and not even a household name in the US. But it's good that he was exposed to Floyd that's what he developed after that to become the top dog in boxing (after Floyd retired for good).

Let's clarify something here, Canelo Alvarez has a record of clean record 42-0 (with 30 KO) before he fought Mayweather Jr. It's not Canelo's early career when he faced The Money. He was also already famous back then that's why he's being chosen and considered as Mayweather Jr. opponent in the first place.

Let's not take that reason why he loss but rather Mayweather is just too much for him. There is no doubt that Prime Mayweather Jr. is a beast and the distance between him and Canelo is too much. They are fighting within the same weight take note of that.

Although Canelo lose, it's a good experience having Mayweather as his opponent on his boxing career history.

The experienced fighting against the intellectual money maker gives Canelo an Idea that career also needs to bring more money in his table, he realize that the more money fight he made the more dollars will be, it's no reasoning why he lost against Mayweather it's not something that we should amazed as even Pacman who known to be the best competitor for Mayweather unable to bring the man down, he retired his gloves with a clean record and that's really something.

So for now, even if he lost again, I don't think he will retire, he answer it brutally honest, if there is a good opportunity and the money is right then why not? So for now even at age 40, his mind still thinks that he can go and fight after a trilogy, but it will be sort of a day to day basis.

Agreed I think canelo will concede on this fight.  GGG shoukd have won both fights so far, dude probably will come put firing here.  Barring something crazy happening I got GGG in a decision at the end.  Should be a good one either way.

I get your point, their trilogy must happen to settle the real score between them and see if Canelo is indeed be the hailed winner of this series match they got. If only a knockout happened last time then I really think that there would be no trilogy this coming September, but since people are not satisfied at those two meetings then I guess this trilogy will give them an answer.

Just voted for Golovkin in the poll, and at this point the polls are 50/50. Too early to say anything, but early indications are that a large part of the users believe that this fight may not be as one-sided as the betting odds suggest. Golovkin is almost at +400. I guess that is because massive amounts of Canelo supporters are betting in his favor and therefore the sportsbooks adjusted their own odds to reduce risk from over-exposure. I would say that fair odds for Golovkin will be in the +250 to +300 range. Anyone with a brain would make a bet in favor of GGG given the current odds.

On the other hand, Canelo lost to Russian boxer Dmitry Bivol, who was almost unknown before the fight. One thing that may favor Canelo is that he has the home advantage, as Golovkin is not based in the US. But I definitely don't agree with the betting odds, for reasons I posted previously.

I would bet on GGG this time. Bookies see Canelo as a huge favourite in this fight. But I would say that both have almost equal chances to win. The test of time will reveal the real winner between this two, we all have our opinion about the previous fight and for sure different overview with that said outcome, now, the trilogy finally here and almost 2 months both fighters will be inside the ring again and will continue to prove who's better among the two. In terms of odd, GGG fans will take the advantage in knowing that the chance of winning is not far from him while with Canelo most gambler who will bet for him will wait for some adjustment some may wait for the actual fight to pick additional option but I'm in to agree that the odd is not balance home advantage gain the heavy favorite.

Lol. True. I had it 116-112 for GGG maybe because his jabs were crisp and solid just like power shots too. But looking at the punch stats round by round separating power shots and jabs, we can say it's a draw at 114-114. Two official scorecards where Canelo won, 115-113 are also possible because some rounds were close. The other official scorecard was 114-114, a draw.

So maybe this is a good time to bet a good amount of money on GGG. I do agree with the odds though. For me, GGG's last performance proved that his body and reflexes depreciated a lot. And that's not a good sign because he will move up 8 pounds higher against Canelo. GGG will be receiving heavier blows from a much better version of Canelo he faced some years ago. And I felt like Canelo's lost to Bivol is driving him to be become more motivated. He seemed more serious, he wants to make his fight with GGG something personal with his shallow reasons.

I think GGG lives more in the US the Canelo. It's just that there are too many Mexicans, Mexican-Americans and Latinos in the US that will cheer for him.
