A wise decision by Canelo, and that really was a blessing for us because we have been anticipating this fight and now it's coming into reality. Well, we all know that although Canelo won in their last fight, it's still not guaranteed that he will win here like what bookies are thinking, I like to believe that bookies are overvaluing Canelo in this fight.

Cruiserweight is to much for Canelo. Not only boxers there are heavier and stronger, but they are often taller. He would have to go to close distance to have any success, but his face will be smashed with heavy jabs all the time. Besides, he has only two fights in light heavy. A loss to Bivol, and a victory over Kovalev, who seems to be selling his belt for several millions, instead of boxing, plus he was not in his prime already. Light weight has still bunch of good opponents for Canelo, if he finds middleweight or super middle weight boring or empty for him.

It will be an overstatement if we say that he will do just fine in cruiserweight because we saw how he performed against a young champion in light-heavyweight, or at least his speed is not that hard to read anymore because of the added weight. By now, Canelo and his team are trying to weigh things if they should try and tie the score against Bivol because it's not an easy challenge for Canelo and it's too risky to be defeated by the same boxer twice. Also, the other champion in light-heavy is Artur Beterbiev, I can't really say that Canelo will be the one to end his long-standing KO streak.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believed regardless of the result of the Bivol-Canelo match, the trilogy fight between Canelo and GGG will still materialize. That's already on Canelo's timeline this year. Instead, what I'm thinking is, that if GGG were defeated by Murata, that might ruin the negotiations regarding the trilogy.

Moving forward, we are all fortunate to witness the upcoming trilogy that was being requested for years.

Let's hope for no controversial issues that will happened in this fight.

GGG needs to enhance his strategy. If he will stay with that same old one, Canelo might abuse him with another unanimous decision bookies. Consider Canelo still the favorite, as they saw this advantage from the two previous fights. Though yeah, it's different fighters inside the ring but if GGG will manage to study and learn how Bivol works with the timing, he might get that lucky combination and create a good opening.

I don't think that he will play defensive in the 3rd fight. He already saw his mistakes specially in the first fight wherein he allow Canelo to control the championship rounds (of course the judges as well have something to do with him losing).

Perhaps GGG will be very aggressive and he should take advantage of Canelo being a slow starter. But he should be cautious as well in the latter rounds as this is where Canelo usually score points. GGG needs to be consistent for full 12 rounds and not allow Canelo to be comfortable.

I am not sure whether I could agree with you. Check the scorecard from Bivol vs Canelo. The first few rounds were almost even, with Bivol having an advantage, but as the fight progressed Canelo got smashed to pulp.

Therefore I am expecting Canelo to start well and win the initial 2-3 rounds. And it may take some time for Golovkin to catch up.

But the judges aren't wrong, Canelo always going aggressive on the early rounds, slowing down after that and comeback at the late rounds. But when he fought against Bivol, his aggressiveness on the late rounds is still not making judges favor to him because Bivol didn't hurt. There's a video where Bivol showing his shoulder after getting power punch from Canelo, there's swollen mark on Bivol's shoulder, but it doesn't enough to make Bivol open his arms.

Yep, you got that right! Canelo's fight with Golovkin for the 3rd time is already arranged and will happen right after Bivol because Canelo can't have Bivol if he won't agree to fight Golovkin for a trilogy. In fact, there are 3 boxers in line for Canelo this year or at least 1st quarter of next year. The trilogy might only cancelled if Golovkin lost that fight against Murata because Golovkin and his camp will surely know that they don't have a choice against Canelo if they can't at least defeat Murata.

Regardless of the outcome of the Bivol vs Canelo, this fight is going to happen specially when GGG defeated Murata. On the side of Canelo, his 2 fight deal with Matchroom include this trilogy.

Same here, I'm also rooting for GGG to win this time around because we may not see him fighting professionally if he got defeated in this trilogy despite of the fact that he said that he won't retire regardless of the result of this trilogy but we can't take out the other factors as his camp or his family will say that it's time to hang his gloves.

But we know that that ain't the way how the fight goes, GGG has to fight and win this fight even if his chances are much smaller compared to Canelo who's still in the height of his prime. Nevertheless, he still got what it takes too.

Most likely their trilogy will make things clear concerning who's the best among them and I'm pretty sure they will gonna unleash everything here because GGG really needs to close this without any doubt that he is the best and Canelo really need to beat him because he came from an upset loss against Bivol. Nevertheless, it is one of the most exciting trilogies in this era, I hope to see it live at home.
