About the extra transfer i feel like they have to give us 1 or even 2 free transfers after the transfermarket window close, because its not our fault to lose players because of a external factor like a transfer.

I think we have too many to begin with. I liked it better before when mistakes were way more costly and when you couldn't rearrange the team every few gameweeks.

Same here, game is way too easy to navigate these days, planning doesn't help much at all now. Extra chips, extra transfers for AFCON, ability to accumulate 5 transfers, rules for GW winners, they are doing absolutely everything to keep the number of players as high as possible and don't care about anything else. Which is perfectly understandable since FPL is marketing tool for PL. They need just volume.

Well this message has only 1 day but seems like we have a ton of interactions here in the thread and it falls well behind.

Im with you guys about not gifting free transfer and etc, but in this special case as i said is correct to give at least a +1 transfer.




Plus we are gonna have some very big troubles with injuries if this kind of calendar keeps going, players are starting to suffer so much from fatigue and starts to break.

I'm looking at Elliot actually, assuming he is played rightaway and is first choice (I don't see why not).

I also fancy him too, provided he's getting the nod, with how Aston Villa have struggle with creating chance in the midfield, I think he should be nailed for them, having a super summer with the England U21 should also help make a stronger case for him.

Yeah - all of us will like Elliot for that price. I'd rather buy him at 5.6 mil if I'm sure he's getting those 70+ minutes than for 5.4 now while still uncertain.

I'd like to WC in GW6, there's just one problem with that though - and I'll let you figure that one on your own. Therefore, it will probably be either GW5 or GW7.

Looks nice on the first glance but then you Liverpool guys should know that historically Salah gets very little in games against Burnley. Heard the stats somewhere, it is something like 1 goal and 2 assists in 10 games. Don't get hang on the numbers I am not sure about them but it was something poor.

I thought this International break would be good a time for me to reevaluate my players and chips strategies but I've not taken more than on glance at my team because it's almost feeling pointless with the number of changes that are coming in over the next few gameweeks either due to transfers or injury, so I'm just going to stick with using my free transfers for now, although I already also have my eyes on my bench boost which likely could be my first chip to be used.

The problem with Salah and Haaland is always the same, is the fucking FEAR OF MISSING OUT (FOMO).

I feel it, you can feel it, and everyone can feel it.

This season seems like that fear is a little bit tiny but still there, plus when the penalty kicks start to show and both of them are the shooters.... that makes us want to have penalty shooters. Is like free points.

Sure, but I have 10 players playing away from home - so an unusual situation.
Free hit in the first half of the season is probably worth even less than bench boost and will amount to a max 10 points difference - so it's either in a round like this or in one in which you want to captain the alternative of the premium player you've got (so for example Salah in this GW if you're not quite sure about Haaland).

Still plan to switch Salah to Haaland quite soon - so this bench boost looks attractive. No way Mateta blanks, and I'd like to add Ekitike to my team for this GW as well.

8 goals and 2 assists against Everton in 13 games sounds like a good record to me. Liverpool second highest goal scorer against Everton behind Gerrard (9). Salah love it again Everton.

It feels scary going into this gameweek without Haaland after his 7 G/A outing last night, but I think the Man City problem isn't just going to disappear, there need to be some perhaps tweaks to how they approach the match, their possession game is just no longer working for them right, maybe they need to play a bit more without the ball to be able execute properly when trying to catch their opponents on the break, because basically what every team do now is just allow have the ball for however long they want with minimum pressing, Man City could have 1000 passes in single game but still find it hard to break down a barely organized defense.

I guess no one will be having Nottingham defensive assets after the wildcards starts rolling in, they're not cheap to begin with, so with Ange in charge, I'll be better off picking one 5m each across 3 other big teams.

In other thread i read something pretty interesting about a team in the Premier League and this is the change of coach in Nothingham Forest, so Nuno Santos is out and we can celebrate the comeback of Ange Postecoglu, this is a really diferent catch for the team, i mean Ange is full ofensive and he is pretty bad on defense so are we gonna held the defensive players from Nothingham?

I think i only have one Nothigham player but if you have a few..... you better recheck what you are gonna do.

In other words I have no idea what to do  Team with best fixtures, Villa plays like shit, players I want mostly are all minutes risk because of recent transfers and those that aren't have a poor game in GW6 which I would prefer to navigate without free hit.

Nuno's relationship with the owner broke last season after he missed out on Champions League and Europa League football.  They had heated arguments on the field after their last game; didn't think he'd last this long; the bomb was already ticking; it was only a matter of time.

From Nuno to Angeball is a big downgrade - that dude is not as good as we think he is. Deceived me once, not again.

I don't have Nott assets at the moment.

You are literally in my head, because this is exactly how I feel with my team, I like my team but I believe I need to make just a few changes, whether or not they are ideal, or prove better off I can't tell, I have players with great fixtures that without considering the past three game weeks I surely would have them on my team, and now that I have them I feel so uncomfortable with their performance thus far. If I have just 3-4 free transfers, I'd be superb.

Said it a few times already - same here. My team is decent but for this GW looks like shit, and I honestly feel that a free hit is barely meaningful in the first part of the season.
Feels like a good time to use it, I don't really think I'll miss it later - but then again, I will use it and there will be a freak GW in which 4 my players will be suspended or some shit like that.

Don't like the idea of free hitting without a real reason - and that I don't really like my team this GW ain't much of a reason. My main upgrades would be in defence anyway.

Thanks for the reminder somehow i totally forget about it, but yes know i remember everything and yes for sure Nuno time was counted after that.

About who is better.... for me both have ceiling and they are not TOP coaches at all.

Ange plays some suicidal football so is much more fun to see, and Nuno plays a strong defense which in some cases were super boring to watch.

I guess we should be expecting Nottingham Forest to win something now next season, since it will be Ange's second season, and according to him, he always wins something in his second season.

Maybe his style of football was not the best at Spurs, but it could work in Forest, and they could actually do well with him.

I don't expect them to start losing games immediately, but I no longer expect the clean sheet from them based on Ange's style.
