I was contemplating WC for a long time but decided against it. If nothing else just because every single content creator that I know off has WC activated and they all have same squads. Never watching videos anymore, they were good few seasons ago when there wasn't so much data. Now they are all sponsored by fantasyfootballhub and just use their data which inevitably leads to same conclusions and same teams.

Super boring, give me fantasy 5 years ago over what we have now any time. Those were the times when I enjoyed listening to their content and then deciding for myself what to do among several proposed strategies. And they actually had some bold ideas then.

They will have wildcard teams for 18 rounds this season - it's just how content works.
I do agree that it does lead to a lot of the same teams being picked - and that's the main reason why I went with a terrible choice of picking Salah over Haaland.
If I didn't watch those videos, I'd have had Haaland since GW1.

Also, for me the problem is in player price changes being tracked. Ideally you'd want them hidden - this way a lot of times a player gets bought/sold for the wrong reason.

They aren't tracked officially, they are tracked by third party sites and that is why those sites aren't 100% accurate.

Fun fact: did you know that if you are wildcarding it goes to your benefit to actually do the transfers and not activate the chip before final day? That way your transfers are counted for price rises/falls. If you activate wildcard they aren't.

Their competitor on this week is Burnley. They've been one of the worst clubs in away games until now. I guess he won't play in the EFL Cup game today. I hope a swift recovery for him.

The problem with Haaland is only one and that one is the fact that is super dificult to make space for him. If you already have a balanced team without him, making space for him is gonna be a nightmare, and for that i cant take him or maybe use some chip to make it happen.

The second problem is this Manchester City is super irregular.

Wow! This is quite a revelation, I believe this is why most of the third party sites with player prices fluctuation have not been 100% correct this season which means there will be massive amount of fluctuations after that final day, I have been able to get some profits(avoid inflations) and avoid some deficit with my price by activating my wildcard early enough into the week, but it might be an entire waste If I'd have to revert some players back due to Haaland's potential injury.

Even if this players are available Pep doesn’t rotates Halaand and this has been something that has been going on since the striker arrived, it is only domestic cup games that Halaand comes from the bench or when he is returning from injury, captaining Halaand is seriously a fair gamble against Burnley. Burnley have been conceding lots of goals already this season and considering their H2H

For Ekitike, it was simply just unprofessional act that he did to get sent off in a cup game against not even one of the top clubs but a club that they should be winning the game against from the early minutes, even Arne Slot wasn’t happy about it

Who lets themselves have such huge numbers for point deduction, not a chance.

Haaland did have a back injury form the Arsenal game and got an early substitute in the second half, man haven’t been training with the team but, it doesn’t seem like anything serious. Pep just exercising caution to not get his injury situation worst. For all we know, he might be ready to play against Burnley by weekend, he ought to have been better rested and wouldn’t be playing full 90 minutes I think.

Yeah, I just mentioned it as a fun fact. I usually start making transfers and then activate wc a day or two before deadline. I know I am thinkering with the squad anyway if I am on wc and probably even waiting for some early team news.

It's okay to look at a few of them and combine that with what you want. My main problem is the €5M midfielders and the cheaper defenders. You can check what others are picking and maybe take one or two from there, but the rest you can fill in yourself. That way it's much easier for me, because I don't have the time or the will to study this kind of player in detail. And the WC situation in my case was that I didn’t use it in Round 5 just because of Watkins — I decided to give him another chance, and yet again, Villa were terrible

Yeah I am not afraid to be without Liverpool or Arsenal players this week. Famous last words  Crystal Palace is really under rated. i am thinking they take something from game tomorrow.

Watkins is a huge disappointment. Aston Villa itself is a complete disaster... I wouldn't ever buy anyone from them unless they really prove their stats.

The only risk now is that we don't know how much time Guardiola will give him to play. He might be replaced earlier than we expect depending on how this game will go. For example if they get ahead by 2 or 3 goals in a short time then I'll be nervous about him in the 2nd half.
