They absolutely could deliver this week against Burnley. On the other hand I have 0 Arsenal which could hurt me a lot. Villa winning 4:3 and Arsenal loosing 2:1 with goal from Merino would be absolutely perfect 

Trying to decide among following things:
1. Using WC this round - least likely now that Watkins did something, I will almost certainly give him chance against Burnley
2. Spending a transfer or two to get some Arsenal
3. Do nothing and keep fingers crossed for above scenario - most likely since I plan to WC next week anyway

That is, at least, how I feel right now after a horrible week. Might change my mind again after all emotions settle down though. I feel am on similar ground with Trofo re Watkins.

I dont make the research for this round yet( i never ending up doing it)  but i have one BIG Achilles heel with this kind of things, i always tent to think "well he doesnt score for X ammount of matches so now he is gonna comeback with all the power and nobody is gonna have it", and in the reality nothing happens.

Yours will not be an isolated case. It has to be used before the first deadline therefore why not use before it expires? I have a feeling many of the players have already used it. I unfortunately decided to have a points deduction to bring in new players, hopefully will not be making that mistake again. As for Bowen, this time it was him and next it will be a different player in a different team. That is how unexpected football can be.

I feel for the managers when they lose players to injuries because of the international break. It is little early right now but imagine fighting against excellent teams trying to win the Premier League then you lose some of your players to injury while they were on international duty. The same applies to our teams

Personally, I would just forget about the front 3 and start transferring in Sarr, Enzo, Caicedo, Anthony and those kinds of midfielders! Nothing complicated here.

Chelsea are a shadow of the team they are capable of being, if Maresca does not address the issues Chelsea could be looking at a mid-table finish. Keeping that in mind and based on current form, for my team I think Salah, Chalobah and Pedro are the obvious names that should be removed. In my case, going for a complete overhaul will be the most appropriate solution.

He was and still is, but I only brought him in last GW6 because of the Ekitike red card - I needed a front line of Halaand, Pedro and Isak for a long term rotation to protect myself from Salah's owners.

Defensive midfielders are too valuable for DEFCON points - something I've been advocating for a long time. A plus when you have players like Bruno and Rice with defensive and attacking abilities.

Chalobah and Pedro are the obvious names that should be removed. In my case, going for a complete overhaul will be the most appropriate solution.

I had Gabriel and Saliba in my team and it worked well until Saliba got injured. Gabriel brought my team a lot of points but I lost potential points by not replacing Saliba as soon as it was announced he would miss games after his injury.

Time permitting I will look at the fixture list to work out the best options available. Hopefully I will find a good balance that remains within budget but it is interesting to see how many times we get it wrong. Some of the players just do not perform in that week and some are playing exceptionally well as soon as you replace them. It can be quite frustrating when you are trying to get points for your team.

The frustrating parts are always the fun parts - you can't get it all.

You don't have a premium goalkeeper, get Raya to replace your lost Saliba ( 2 DEFs) to close some gaps at the back. But in whatever you do, don't forget to get Halaand, he's in an insane goal scoring form and you can't hedge against him and survive for too long.

I think I made a mistake pulling my wildcard, giving the fact I feel like there are at least 3 transfers that feel essential rn, but it's a pre-international break game week, spend all my remaining 3 FT feels like one I might not be able to recover from easily, If things do go south, so I'll probably make save or two, but I'm anti-Villa and pro-Arsenal, both teams played in Europe so no excuses either way.

I think most of us put Isak into the team jsut because Ekitike gets injured and if you have a remaining budget you can allow him to be in your team, well at least that was my case, so it was a super easy piece by piece.

I was more confident about Ekitike than Isak for scoring points, and Isak is also much more expensive and makes it difficult to balance the team, but until now i manage to have both Haaland and Isak, but i dont have Salah.

Same reason I bought Isak, I was tempted to go for Gyökeres but Arsenal doesn't play through the middle and he barely gets enough service up front.

This is not conclusion yet but Ekitike seems to be more comfortable in the Liverpool team than Isak I know he hasn't played enough games but I could already see him becoming a backup to Ekitike. IMO

As for João Pedro, he is disappointing lately. He can't even have a shot on target. I don't expect much from him in the game vs Liverpool. But I'm hopeful about him for 5 weeks straight after that.

Joao Pedro isn't Haaland but he should be ok for next set of fixtures. People say he didn't have shot on target, well Chelsea also played with 10 men for large parts of recent games. That didn't help for sure.

I’ll be sticking with the Gyökeres, João Pedro, and Haaland attack — I think these next 4–5 weeks are made for them. But I’m still not fully sold on Gyökeres for some reason. I can't quite explain it, but something just feels off. Havertz definitely looked better in terms of attacking positioning compared to Gyökeres. And he surely had more aerial duel wins per game. While Gyökeres is physically strong, I think he's underperforming in that area.

I made a very big mistake by using TC on Foden instead of Haaland. When it was announced that Foden scored the first goal for Manchester City at first, I thought myself very clever. But after the match ended I realized that I was the most stupid in the pool.    I had to be in top 5 but I fell behind in the standings a lot. However we still have a long season ahead.

Not only that, Joao Pedro in the firsts rounds was super good he collect me a lot of points, now Chelsea suffer from some injuries like Palmer, plus for example the game against Macnhester United was a mess for every forward since they play with one less for the whole game, he cant do so much about it.

I still see him as a very good option and for that i keep him in my team.
