It was a very disappointing day; Nkunku not starting and not scoring even when he came on. I am sure no one or only a few people have Jackson and Noni as assets from Chelsea, wish I had Palmer. I am happy for the points gotten this week, I know it a marathon and not a sprint, and I hope to be able to keep up until the end.

I'd be damned if it isn't Palmer (who I just got in before anyone even thinks about price-rising him).

Palmer, Salah, Saka, Haaland is there any manager that was able to have all four of them in their team while still being able to put together a not so bad defense and/or bench.

Can't do that without sacrificing the defense and front line. The bench is already gone when you have even three of these players.

Wow, I think everyone picked Haaland as captain this tour (even me haha) but I didn't activate the triple option. Apparently this was a big mistake, since I will now have to wait a long time for more obvious opportunities in the entire tournament (and it is not a fact that they will be realized like yesterday). It looks like this season will be just as fiery for Haaland as the first.

This is an example where you pick a triple captain matches like this. But not satisfied with my team this is only to get me back in the race and i think i used this option too early in the season

But there is still a big element of luck here as Haaland doesn't score in every game and he has games with hat tricks followed by games without goals, in any case congratulations. I hope that I can guess a game that will be just as profitable for using this option. In theory, this should be an easy choice in the second round of the championship in a home game against the team with the most goals conceded. The main thing is to take into account the overlap/priorities of the games in the Champions League.

Wow! It is a big generosity by Rollbit. I wish I used TC. I would also share the prize for the number 1 of the week by collecting 94 points. Is there anyone who is thinking of adding Palmer to their squad? I'm regretful for not getting him into my squad so far and Chelsea's upcoming fixture looks quite easy.

I hate Jackson, he's a poor man's Nunez, but looks like a good asset to take if you want to take advantage of Chelsea's good schedule a bit cheaper. Can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm actually considering to take him.

According to fplgameweek it was Rruchi man who won the gameweek like Trofo already mentioned.
Glad that Haaland was able to score a Hattrick read on fpl reddit that double gameweeks will be very rare so the decision to apply Triple (C) was not difficult.

I don't really rate Madueke despite his 3 goals, there is so much competition on the wings for Chelsea and people already forgot he didn't even play GW1 and he even dropped in price before GW2. Also he scored 3 indentical goals, all from same position. I think this was more a measure of Wolwes defense than Chelsea attack.

Palmer is only one safe for minutes there but his price reflects that. Maybe Jackson if he starts converting some chances.

Congrats Rruchiman and the rest of y’all winners. You’re sure Comingoutthistime!!! as your username for tells. Last season, you sank right to the bottom like am doing now but, your top of the league now, that’s surprising although, it’s just GW2 with a lot of points ahead to be contested.
Still looking out for a way to turn things around for my team, this isn’t the start I anticipated. Isak and Watkins are flopping on with funds I should have spent on Haaland.

We have only 25 registered players like other teams, Enzo is a tactical coach and approaches each game differently but there are players with permanent spots and you should know them. 

Palmer is only one safe for minutes there but his price reflects that. Maybe Jackson if he starts converting some chances.

I'm definitely going to switch Pedro to Jackson as soon as the transfer market closes and there are no incomings; he was my huge differential last season while others went for Watkins, and I was riding along with Jackson for fun. We've got some fantastic additions, so the goals will come.

Wouldn't it make more sense for you to grab Solanke right now when he comes back and inevitably gets a couple of multi-week returns, before you dump him for Jackson?

Thank you so much, and like I said before, It is a marathon, not a sprint. There are still a lot of game weeks, and within those weeks a lot of things can happen, especially unexpected. @Smartvirus, you could be in the top 8 at the end of the season.

I did not hurriedly take Nkunku out even with the danger of the price drop; I will be patient until their conference league qualification game against Servette to see if Enzo will have him start again for Chelsea. If he starts, I will then be pretty sure he will not play by the weekend.

They signed all those players on incredibly long contracts, 6 years is usual and some have even 9 years i think? Ige will correct me for sure.

Anyway when you buy the player, his price gets split over contract years, so you buy mediocre player for 60M and give him 6 years contract, you get 10M expenditure for that year. Problem is you end up with 50 players on long term contracts, many of them not really wanting to move on. Still think it will backfire spectacularly but maybe with couple more gems like Palmer they can make it feasible.

I really don't know if Chelsea's antics will be sustainable over the long period even when you find rare gems like that of Cole Palmer in every 13th-15th signing, the problem will become stuck with players wages and them not even leaving, it becomes your obligation to pay them over those years or buy their contracts out, because at that points some of these players might have even given up their career and thinking of the bag more since the best age is getting past them really fast. So they'll only be leaving the club and agreeing personal terms with a new employer if the pay/benefit is better. That's why you have guys like Sterling not even being talked about or approached by other clubs, I mean not because he's a terrible player or can not perform some good standards anymore, but his wages demands are going to be the neck breaker and scare almost any club away even if he's to be signed as a free agent.

Trofo you're right - Palmer and Enzo are on 9-year contracts with exceptionally low salaries and signing fees spread over 6-7 years; additional benefit is that contract extensions are awarded based on player and team performance (Palmer was awarded a few weeks ago for his efforts last season). We have a wage max cap of $200k/week, yet none of these players make more than $150k/week.

We know how to sell players at a good value so moving a flop is never our problem.
