I didn’t miss the news, I was right in on it, it was just a gamble that didn’t pay off, from the statement it felt like a little knock as he did finish the game against Man City, I intentionally chose to  avoid Semenyo, he picked up 4 Yellow cards in the last 5 PL game before this GW and he’s on 9 currently, 1 more would have him get suspended for 2 games.

I wanted  a Bounemouth midfield asset and all I could think of was Semenyo after Dango lost his place in the starting lineup and Kluivert was injured.  Had to risk it.

I am seriously considering Jackson.

Jackson in the team is only going to benefit Palmer holders ; he creates alot of space for Palmer to attack. Not sure about getting him now.

3 players that are a doubt - Isak should play but we all have him anyway. Aina looked a bit more serious, while Trippier will play even if he's 50% fit considering how many issues Newcastle has in defence.

And then there is also Gabriel that many of us on the WC have. For instance those that you mentioned don't worry me at all 

Gabriel has been a constant in most of our teams all season long. It was about time he got out and made defensive selections a bit different for everyone.

Chelsea's selections look good going forward with Jackson back; it looks like Chelsea now have their shape back, and Cole Palmer has more confidence that there is a player to make runs behind the defensive line.

I am seriously considering Jackson.

Gabriel finally out from couple of fantasy teams just to make things a little intresting. Jackson and Palmer look like good options for upcoming game. They are playing against Brentford that plays open football ....

Look at the next fixture after Brentford; it is IPSWICH. That should be another game for Chelsea to pick up maximum points; Palmer and Jackson should both have either a goal, an assist, or both.

Clean sheet against Brentford? Not happening maybe against Ipswich- we lost to them in the first leg in what can be described as one of our worst games this season. Jackson could come handy in those games honestly.

Gabriel is out for the season. Only reason I didn't sell him is that I want Arsenal defender and I don't have money for Saliba while I am not sure what is up with Timber's injury. Hoping for some early team news and taking Timber if there is confirmation he starts, otherwise rolling the transfer and doing it next week.

Timber benched, but so is Saka. He scored in the last game after being subbed on, I hope he does the same this time again.
If the plan is to start him in the CL game, he needs to play 40+ minutes. I expected him to start and be subbed off around 60', a weird choice to bench him again. He looked good in the last game.

The only player that can cause me issues this week is Solanke. I really tried to get Son, I think he's the best differential in this round, but simply couldn't fit him into my team.

Saka is being gradually introduced back. Git 30 minutes in first game, and now whole 2nd half. I am expecting him to start in CL and then playing more and more minutes in PL as well. Soon enough he will be 90+ minutes man. Took him on wildcard and while he wasn't excellent for me so far I am happy enough. Got the the goal in last round and benched his 1 pointer in this round. Now just Murphy and Foden need to deliver.

Arsenal's defense is not going to be the same without Gabriel, If I had waited that extra week to wildcard this week, I wouldn't be on double Arsenal's defense because it's expensive but quite rewarding as well, when in shape.

I still have Gabriel, I'm thinking of switching to another Arsenal defender but a cheaper one than Saliba, Kiwior would have been a pretty perfect option, but I just don't know how guaranteed his minutes would be, Arteta might just switch Ben White back to CB. I guess the all-important CL game would give a better insight.

After Salah did remedy my leaving him on the bench last GE by flopping and not getting the points, my team was rocked with injury and off field players that, I had to consider between a WC and taking some point hit. Ended up taking 4 points hit and I’m hoping is something I don’t gone to regret at the end of the GW. I brought in Munoz and he managed to score a goal, that was a good one from him but, still have some absent players that I’m hoping wouldn’t have made much of a difference to have some peace with my decisions.

It may turn out to be the worst week I have had since this season. I used my WC, but still no good effect.
 
No Martinez clean sheet, Wolves could not defeat Ipswich nor keep a clean sheet, Saka was not present in the game even when he was subbed on; Konsa and Rashford did not start; they came in after Villa already had two goals.

Man the only defender costing more than that is Trent Alexander Arnold, and he's injured now. Besides I don't think you have to worry about him next season. I think he is gone.

I somehow managed to snatch a red card in my transfers, getug Guehi in preparation for the double GW so that bench boost may be possible.

The crazy thing was that he was actually on the bench, but since Kluivert and Wood didn't play, he got subbed on.

You are lucky to even be on 30 points this round.

• Boiling Hot Palmer blanks (and doesn't even start)
• Mbeumo and Wissa blank
• Arsenal and Forest clean sheets wiped
• Haaland, Gabriel, Wood, Kluivert and Aina all injured

Unless you have Mateta, Munoz, Rogers or Gvardiol* in your squad, then you probably finish with around 15 points.

How do we even bench boost like this?

*You just know that some stupid thing will happen to lose the clean sheet, given the way this game week is going.

It’s almost as though all PL coaches reached a consensus on benching a lot of guys for this round, and in my opinion those games seemed to be important, Chelsea for instance choosing to bench Palmer and Jackson, despite starting both of them in the previous game. If Chelsea had played their best squad from the scratch was the any conviction they’d win the game ? imo, No! Then wtf were you benching them ? Lol. I can’t complain about Arsenal benching Saka just yet because at least, that still serve my purpose as I don’t intend to bring him on until after game week 32.

Liverpool and Salah, I really don’t know what the hell is going on, but thank God, I’d not have to worry about captaining Salah for the next game week when other alternatives are to play twice.

It has been a collection of one and two points for me from this round. Most of my picks did not start and came on later to just warm their legs. Salah's captaincy was one mistake for this round; I should have recognized that his form has dropped, and Isak would have been a better choice.

We had another clear opportunity to narrow the gap with Nottingham Forest, but that moron benched two of our top players.  How can he rest players when our next game is on Thursday? Enough time to rest.

The players cannot afford to miss another Champions League game next season since it will affect their contract wages. 

Captaining Isak could be the best decision I've made this GW, given his hauls tomorrow.

I had beautiful curling hair Cucurella who gave me 30max before the international break, but as an ungrateful manager, I decided to leave him out of my WC team, and he reacted with a double clean sheet to make me look stupid for my selections.

Salah is out of gas and not putting it any more efforts- sure he was already hoping to get some contract offer from Liverpool nothing yet. What's happening... Maybe Todd Boehly can get him back home for free.
