Can someone advise me about John McGinn? I see that he is listed with a knee injury and a 25% chance of playing. A few days ago everything seemed fine with him, so I was not even considering replacing him, I like having him in my team. But now the chances of him playing next week look quite low, and I am starting to wonder whether it would make sense to take an extra transfer for points, or if that would be unnecessary.

I really don't know anything about his injury, but on whether you should take extra negative points to bring someone else in for him, you need to consider a few things, first thing is that do you have someone else on your bench could cover for him easily (even if it's a defender) if yes, then there is no need, but if you don't enough bench option and you can confirm him being injured, then taking points hits is justifiable, it technically means if you whoever you brought in only need to play 60 mins and you already have 2 of those -4 back.

He is injured for sure, I am quite certain he will miss at least this game and probably several weeks. But wait for press conference tomorrow and official update. There should be some actual news by then. He is cheap enough to bench if it isn't for a long a time.

I just logged in to check my team to bench McGinn, and I saw that besides him, Konaté and Bruno now also have very low chances of playing. Looks like I’ll have to bench all of them. I was counting on them actually. I won’t be making any transfers anymore, I’ll leave everything as it is this week. We’ll see how the other members of my team perform.

No, thank you. I can't believe how many of you are actually without Gabriel. He is at the moment highest point scorer in the game if you look at it from match played perspective. Saying I will not pay 6.9 for him sounds silly to me when you are at the same time paying more than double for Haaland 

On the other hand saying you belive he is over performing and that you can cover with Timber or something like that, I can understand. Don't think it will work but makes sense.

Now that I said this, he is either getting injured or collecting red card and penalty combo against United.

I won't be able to get him until I use my WC2, I don't want to push too hard or take unnecessary hits for someone I might end up getting 2 pointer for 

I like the uncertainty surrounding Foden and Halaand that's enough money to tweak around for the remainder of the season for us with lower team values. I can't wait to get Foden off he's been nothing but disappoinment even since I got him.

If Manchester City play their best against Wolves, it could be a high scoring game and several of your four players could accumulate points for you. As they are struggling, I am expecting a narrow win or a draw because Wolves have nothing to lose (being bottom in the Premier League table) therefore they will play the game without fear.

Fixtures from next GW looks decent for WC chip if you're chasing ranks - you gotta do it before the teams before hit them.

It is an awful feeling when you make a tactical decision after a long thought out process and think you will accumulate a lot of points but end up failing miserably. We all have been there, I was going to add a player and opted against it in the last minute and that player went on to score double digit points. This can be really frustrating a times

Isn’t this why we love this game, where your draft team is actually way better than your actual team, if we all had the chance to actually apply our tactical decisions most will be higher on points, this is just like the regular managers whose tactical decisions do not work at the end of the day.

Naturally, fell asleep yesterday so Bruno rose in price, I really hate it when that happens. I literally planned to make that transfer for the last 10 days and then it gets away from me.

I really hate this GW. I had Haaland and Foden but none of them was a starter. I decided to buy Chelsea players already in this round and got Palmer - Pedro duo.

That is only because I said following "better I have him on the bench and get the price rises than not to have him at all" after he scored today and I had him on the bench both this and last GW. Now he will even be injury problem at the moment he should have gotten into my team.

I was tempted to do the same because many managers would have expected Haaland to score for Manchester City against Wolves. Thankfully I decided against making that decision as I was sure Thiago would score for Brentford (but he did not). In the end, it did not work out for me.

It was really an interesting weekend in the Premier League. Thankfully I was able to see the rotation rumours by Guardiola before the deadline. It helped me a lot to be honest.

I sold Foden for Semenyo and made him my captain after that as well. He could have even scored more goals in the match but still he brought nice amount of points to me.

I was unlucky about Virgil as he scored his first goal of the season in the league right after I sold him.
