I didn't want to sell Ekitike before Sunderland, but he hasn't done much to boost my confidence. Sunderland is a better defensive team  than Manchester City, and they will most likely keep him out. For For those of us who can't afford Palmer, Pedro is the closest thing to him, and most of Palmer's goals went through him.

How the fuck most of you had Palmer as a captain? What i miss? I have a very good round with most of my players scoring good points but when i check the leaderboard i was washed. I saw people with ton of points ahead of me and when i check their teams i found the answer Palmer captain with 3 goals kills all of us who didnt have him this round.

For me is not so much pain since im quite below in the leaderboard, but poor guy the one in the fight without him.

I think Palmer actually saw This your post and then came with an Hattrick, personally i wouldn’t also be actually going for him yet until he might have sorted out his injury woes and also fight his way back into Rosenior first team fully, even with the Hattrick today against a side that has lost against almost every other club in the league. But Palmer isn’t actually still that bad but he and Saka have been my biggest disappointment so far this season. Hopefully for Palmer this game against wolves would be a start back to form for him

Down to 15th, thanks to a big gamble in bringing in Liverpool players in favour of... Haaland. Haha. Of course, he finally contributed a goal and assist, I lost so much just on that captaincy (which I gave to Ekitike, who summoned the spirit of Darwin unfortunately).

Well, whoever has Palmer had him as captain. Same will happen in GW27 - another one in which all of us who don't have him will finish in red.
All part of the plan - hurts a bit because 40 points is huge but I still think going without Palmer was a better option. Hopefully he doesn't get 50 against Burnley.

I would have considered Saka for sure if he didn't get injured, somehow feels boring to give it to Gabriel. Maybe to Rice - but that's just a worse option than Gabriel I guess.

After I got burned last season, there was no way I was going to triple captain Saka even if he was as fit as he was a few weeks ago, he was getting subbed on and off in some games and if he were available, I'm quite sure he wouldn't have played 90 minutes in either game, maybe 70+ in one and starting the second one vs Wolves off the bench... With Gabriel your best would be at for least one cleansheet, because what if the goal doesn't come for him, however, Gabriel could a high risk, high reward kinda move, Arsenal could easily keep a cleansheet in both games, and less say he gets DC in one, and a goal in another, that'd be a monstrous haul (If wishes were horses)...

Palmer alone gave you 40 points whereas my whole team scored just 59 points (and Fernandes was my top scorer as captain with 20). Not only that, LuckyGuy FC also had Palmer and also accumulated a staggering amount of points (103). Overall, it was another disappointing week for me as far as accumulating points was concerned but I hope to do better next time.

It has to be the biggest score I have seen since I entered the competition (granted this is my first season). There were two managers with a 100+ points tally and both had Palmer in their respective teams. Maybe I will rethink my strategy because it clearly is not working

I was scrolling on SuperBru just now, and to my surprise I saw that we have a game day today . I think I might be the only one who didn’t know we have EPL today. Now let’s see if I can make some transfers for today. I had a pretty OK week with 69 points, but a lot of you did as well, so I moved up  only a little bit — still 100 points away from my goal of 7th place.

WoW strange round what we had in term of points score, my 70 points were "good" but compared with the rest of the leaderboard it was HUGE gaps between a few players and the median of the round, the one who score over 100+ made a huge step ahead and cut a lot of points to the users at top positions.

Is by far the best sensation ever when you score a lot of points and your rivals didnt score that much, it gives you a crazy bump. So congratulations to the 2 or 3 guys in that position.

Joao Pedro is making what he was expected to do since the start of the season, i always think he is a great player but the slow start on Chelsea (in Premier League) left him with a bitter flavor, but now he is showing what he is worth. Also he is collecting 3 penalty kicks in this last 2 games, all scored by Palmer but was him who elaborate them.

Than for a lose, it is better for the draw, at least they are going home with a point rather than nothing. I expected this play from West Ham, due to the way they have been showing up against Manchester United. They have gotten a wonderful record from their past game.

The late goal from Benjamin sesko, was something to talk about. It has been twice he had made such a save to the team. If not for him the game would have be a lost to Manchester United.

Manchester United came back from behind to secure a point, that's better than bottling a comfortable 2-0 lead at home in less than 10 mins because the defenders are stupid and freezes under pressure - Liam came with a good gameplans but the players just made him look stupid at the end. Can't blame him on this one although I wanted him sacked last night for not starting Fofana.

I don't rate coaches that experiments with their backline more often - very stupid

Eye test says he's the only player capable of providing constant returns. I'd say he's been really unlucky, he was really good in most of the games they played.
That's the only reason why I kept him for so long in the first place.

To make things worse, the easiest game is just coming - and it's the one in which everybody that has Palmer will captain him - making him a potentially 50-points differential.

Fair play to all that took the risk, nothing but blind faith backed it. Data didn't show it, he looked unfit and below his level - and to make it worse he still does. But the points are there to prove most of us wrong.

It's really sad to own Cherki right now, I don't know what the fck Guardiola want from his or certain players, first it was Reijnders, then Foden who was untouchable only for him to drop to the bench suddenly, after that Cherki look like the best thing after fried rice, right now he's not starting any games Semenyo keeps playing 90 minutes after 90 minutes, but I'm not sure I'll take Cherki out and go with Semenyo tempting as that may sound, I think its just a matter of time with him, these players aren't the problem Guardiola is, everyone is dispensable at any minute
