A very good round for me, Gordon turning out to be a very good move after all. All my captain options did similarly well though - so if I picked Bruno it would have been a little better or a little worse if I picked Wilson.
The real problem is that good result from this round makes me not want to wildcard

It was always the plan but looking at the fixtures list there's a swing coming again near the last few rounds. I'll wait for the FA cup games before deciding - I don't care much about team value this season.

I honestly can't think of any player not in my team that I'd like to have right now - I have a flexible team, good bank and I can literally have any players I want without any chips or taking any hit

If there's no injury concerns to my current players, I might not use the second WC chip.

Congratulations to all of the managers, especially Smartvirus for getting 70 points this week. These were the last games before the break and from the 34 teams involved, only six had a higher score than me.

I managed to accumulate 63 points, I have to add I am very happy with that when the average for the week was just 38 points (the highest was 109). I am 63 points away from the 10th place therefore that has to be my aim.

There will always be regret about why did I select a particular player as he did not score points, hindsight is a wonderful thing

What a disaster round it was for me, not because it was low on points but because of my poor chosing of players i left in the bench two defenders with 6 points and the worst of all were my forwards, no one give me something for the team, Ekitike barely playing, Joao Pedro blank, and Igor Jesus the same.

If any of my chips would last beyond GW35, it’s probably going to be free hit if the next blank week isn’t going to be too huge for me to cover with my free transfers.

Each chip of mine is going towards a proper planning of when and how I can gain decent advantage in rank, there is such a little margin for error with the chips and each that goes wasted is go be significant towards how I’ll finish the season.

I see that for the vast majority this week was really successful. That’s probably why, despite my 68 points, I didn’t move up much in the rankings  How many weeks are left in total, 6 or 7? There’s still a chance to climb higher, but the other participants are so strong that I don’t even know how this level of competition can be beaten.

In short - when teams go far in the cups/Europe some of their games need to be rescheduled. This means that a team that should have played a game in GW34 will play 2 games in GW33 and won't play a game in GW34 at all. There will be many teams with the same issue, meaning that you want to target players with double fixtures and then be prepared for the next week in which these players won't have a fixture at all.

Without a free hit chip making the most of it is practically impossible.

Not just the international break, immediately after the break which is march 3rd there are no EPL fixtures, instead it's going to be the FA Cup quarter finals taking, that's why the gap is 3 weeks long.

Other European league would be having their regular league matches within that period, but somehow EPL have still had more fixtures played than those leagues.

That's likely going to be the case for me if pulling the wildcard, whatever minute changes need to made would be done with my free transfer, and my bench boost might necessarily not come during the DGW, except the matches have a decent interval and players wouldn't be at risk of minutes limitation.

If you're going to activate it, there's literally nothing and no reason to wait, just hit the danm thing and keep making your changes. But honestly, price farming is old school.

I've moved on from anything FPL thing till the next 3 weeks after the FA games - there maybe a DGW in GW 36 for City but to what use ? Arsenal may have lifted the title before GW36

We all experienced it. It happens to every manager here, we all have some extremely bad weeks where we hardly score any points.

On some occasions the bench end up scoring more points than the outfield but it was not beneficial as the Bench Boost chip was not played. You will also notice a pattern that when you drop a particular player, he will probably score a lot of points the following week. On a good week, all the players will score points and on other weeks it is a disaster. Unfortunately, that is why there is frustration and excitement.

They will never allow us to have all the premium players in 1 team - that would be really boring to play.

They’ll surely balance it out, Palmer, Saka and Bruno will be the deputies to Haaland, then Rice, Enzo and Szoboszlai will also see decent price increase.

Overall, I think the defenders will be the most expensive ones like the days of TAA and prime Virgil.
