Champions League was for years my golden goose when betting and then I totally got dumpstered in last 2 seasons both on bookies and in our pools. Hopefully this season will be a comeback season and I will be competitive

In the event of a tie at the end, how will the tiebreaker be done?

A question for the 40 participants: Do you think it would be too complicated, instead of indicating your username, to indicate your user id when filling out the form?

Tiebreakers are explained in OP. Pot A is Superbru's tallying. Pot B is person with most points won in single match. I'll try and think of a final tiebreaker in Pot B.

Yep  I came in because buwaytress sent me another reminder to join the pool on Superbru (thanks to him) and I decided to clarify the forecasting rules for the second part of the poll, but here everything was drowned in discussions.

OP has the explanations, is there anything in particular you want to ask about?

Sorry for the late reply via PM, as I was sleeping when you sent me the PM. I saw it and then forgot about it. Then Little Mouse asked me if I was interested in it, and I remembered receiving a PM from you. So, thanks to you and Little Mouse as well for the reminder. The main attraction for me is the huge prize pool. This is the 2nd Pool I am joining this year. The problem is I easily lose interest after a certain period of time. I hope I will stick with the pool till the end of the season, and I hope I will be in the top 20. The joining fee was sent, and TX is provided via PM. So, please count me in.

buwaytress really did a very great work. I think that not much thing would have changed if we opened the pool earlier. People who are eager to join are already deciding to join it in a short time. I also liked the idea of a partition of 70%-30%. It can be very boring sometimes to make only score predictions. Therefore the pools I like the most are the F1 and FPL ones.

True. Last year I saw h tried collecting participants from even July long before group stage but in the end only 34 joined. Now with one week 40 are here. I think people who want to join will join. I know loads of people give excuse of fee but it's nobrainer to bet 2mbtc to try win a hell lot more.

My favorite "pool" by far is BSFL, you can have some satisfaction of research but also trying to go for unique answers. Pure Superbru is not bad but yeah it's for sure the most "boring".

^  Yup...  Sad to say pure Superbru got kinda boring for the league format.  That and a lot of the regs in the gambling section got hell a lot better in predicting scores in the EPL and the other top leagues.    Didn't feel like playing this year but prolly come back next year if I feel like it.  And didn't somebody make a Fantasy Premier League pool or something?  I think somebody pm'd me about it...  I might join that too.  Kinda felt like hard work tho the last time I tried it with hilariousandco a couple or so years ago.  Lol.  I was only good for a couple of weeks and I left.  

And what's your 'score thing'?  Please do share. 

In tourney formats like the UCL, I think managers are forced to be more pragmatic.  That's why Mou at his prime could win it with a more inferior squad while Guardiola had a hard time winning it with a superior squad because he was so idealistic in his approach.

That is great having  two separate Pots for the prizes,I am pretty sure it is going to be a nice one this year with this new format although every time I had to say something I would always go for 100% Superbru scores for the fact that it is super easy to do.

Nevertheless we should be very careful to the Google Docs form which we will fill every match day here as it is not a small amount the Pot B either which stands for that 30% of 11.000 dollars which should be somewhere more than 3300 dollars in total.

I'm actually looking forward to this but I still have my concerns about the POT B, I think it'll be better to have the complete explanation of how it will work and there should be quite a time frame for use to make their decisions about it, and the kickoff is actually more around the corner than it seems, late submissions and all that isn't the way we'd want to kick off the competition.

Everyone. Updates (where needed, clarified in OP):
- joker_josue has cleaned up on the tally sheet (not important for you as it is for me) so I'm happy that much of the work will be automated so I'm less likely to mistakes with Pot B.
- Final tiebreaker for Pot B will be whomever submitted first (if they share the most points in a single match).
- Quick links will always be near the top of OP.

If you haven't tried out the sheet, please do so now in case you have questions later! The actual sheet with odds for Match Day 1 will be available on Sunday (don't argue with the odds, I will base them loosely off odds at the time, they will, naturally, shift by kick off).

Yes, for sure I did test the Match Day form and Read the OP.

I'm just saying you might need to have the Day 1 form available very early enough just so that no one gets to miss it by just being away from the forum for a day, unlike BSFL enthusiast it might be easier for some other people to easily forget about the other Pot for the first time.

As the team I'm supporting joined the Champions League in 2008 the last time I got sad more than them.I hope that we can see Fenerbahçe in the Champions League next year and our arch rival Galatasaray get eliminated quickly this year.

The weekly prizes  as well the pool only sportsbook specials are more enticing to me since i dont fancy myself having a shot at the season long prize against the more seasoned football  enthusiasts here

And the work isn't all done yet! I hope it becomes even more automatic. The idea is that you only have to do 2 or 3 things, in half a dozen minutes, for all the results to be updated.

It is their turn, Chelsea is even worse , igehbotz and the other supporters of the club have nothing to cheer this season asides the Premier League, and even in the premier league, they are still disappointing. They will have to watch from the sides like Arsenal and Manchester United have been doing.

If my club @Arsenal and Manchester United crash out in the group stages, Chelsea and Liverpool supporters will not take it easy with the banters.
