The problem is that Inter will never draw with Plzen at home while they have won away and Plzen is not a team that can really compete in the group where they are in against 3 former Champions League winners teams.

I don't think is that bad to see Barca in Europa League,and in fact I think it is a good thing,there they have the upper hand against teams playing there so they are a really strong contender to win the Europa League this year.I have seen the teams at Europa League and they are all below Barca quality,based on this I think this is a good thing for Barca to go there.

Will Inter drawing against Victoria Plzen be more weird than it would been for anyone to predict that Club Brugge would be top of their group at this stage and be the only team in the champions league yet to concede a single goal, while it's going to be a difficult feat for Plzen, however the fact they have nothing to lose would make the pressure much less on them.

with current form, I really cannot imagine some team challenging their position in Europa league
but, it is a long season after all, and same looked for Barca last year, their form was in upper direction, but they eventually were knocked in epic match by Eintracht

Like I said, Barca's not the clear favourite in Europa, not by any means. All the same, seeing them, United and Arsenal there makes for a worthy cup contest, definitely brings a lot of quality to the 2nd-tier contest.

Oh and I'm definitely loving Conference even if only for value betting (Partizan I saw you post, and my Cluj picks, fantastic odds!). Too bad I don't get their streams easily, not that I really find a slot to watch as Europa's still better but I'd watch my local team any day any week if I could.

I hardly have the time to make good picks in Champions League pool sometimes, and in Europa League there are more matches and teams I never follow, so I would not perform good.
Best pools are for Premier League ands some other big leagues, but I was very busy and I couldn't join one from start of this season.
If someone from forum starts a pool for World Cup Qatar that would be interesting for me to join.

As we've said several times though, familiarity doesn't guarantee pool positions. My kid's doing way better than me in FPL and he's the type of fan to know more about player tweets while not watching a single game.

Europa League does not have its own paid pool on bitcointalk since we already have a lot of pools and each additional one puts more and more stress on finances of the regulars. For instance I am playing in at least 6 pools this season and I have probably even forgot some

There is Europa League pool on Superbru though and anybody can go there and join up for free to see how hard it is actually to predict Europa League games.

My mistake. For some reason, I was convinced that such a pool exists. I participate in 4 pools and remember that I chose for the convenience of forecasting (Superbru became the decisive argument here) and for adequacy - I would never choose the Europa League as it is an inadequate competition.

I can watch some Eurpe League matches, I never watch League of Nations, but Europe Conference League is just a waste of time, empty stadiums, nobody cares, nobody want's to participate, it's a cup of extraordinary rejects.

UEFA/FIFA and footbal in general its pure business right now and because of that, they only want to make more money, so they keep creating more and more tournaments who can sell to broadcasters and this to the people.

You can see how most of the Supercups of Spain now plays this one in the middle east, and its not more two teams, now are 4 teams.

The only "good thing" about this its:

-Really little teams from small countries can play against big teams falling in disgrace.

- And most important, having more spots to dispute can make more tought matches in the leagues because surely no matter what its your position in the tabble you can be playing for something until the last round.

not sure what is included in this price, but they build all new stadium, each and every one, which should be way less than 220 billion
maybe they included metro lines and road infrastructure in this price - and that could be reasonable, since Qatar will hardly need metro after World Cup - what a miss from investment point
and that is some infrastructure 76 km metro, with 37 stations, and does have fastest driverless trains in the world - shame that trains are driverless and travelerless, almost empty

Worrying about Qatar finances is not something we should not do,they have huge amount of money from their oil rich under earth.I think they can afford to build anything they like,even a project like the metro which will not be needed that much after the World Cup ends.Probably in that amount money laundering has happened but in a country where they let everything to be decided by a bunch of people will most likely go and pass without problems.

Nowadays they need to get as much money as possible from this event and that is going to happen,they also want to show off to the world how rich they are by building these type of stadiums.

Haha I don't think there is a shortage of guys with time, actually, but likely more of a shortage of "qualified" guys with time -- and not to say I don't think we have a big pool of capable people, just not sure if sponsors will agree. Hard enough securing sponsorships, but I have a lot of hope and confidence we'll see a pool.

I'd even squirm myself to put one up if the worst-case scenario happens and there's none, but I'd really like not to!

they called me and I joined competition, but would like to see some pool here as well

Serbia is rarely good at these, we have some chances this year, and almost similar group as in Russia (Brasil and Switzerland are same, with Cameroon (was Costarica in Russia)) - what are the chances to have to same groups in two WC competitions in a row, statistically really small

Maybe we could create first joined sponsorship of more than one casino giving away rewards and free bets, but it should be one month of fun and games.

I don't think that any casino will agree to a joint pool, it seems to me that this contradicts the basic marketing guidelines.
But it seems to me that such a major event as the World Cup definitely has its own separate budget for advertising in all major casinos and spending on BTT is meager money for any of them.
It would be nice if we saw several pools from different casinos at once, I would take part in all of them (this is not a joke).

Why not? Wouldn't it be interesting to try different strategies ranging from super-reliable to super-aggressive? Taking into account the fact that almost all participants in the pools wear signatures, the entrance fee to different pools would be quite affordable for everyone, since in the end it can be said that this is "free" money.

It should be done in a different way, one pool and sponsorship money from all betting sites. It is not like sports competitions are sponsored by one entity. I already thought about that and I am quite sure it is the best way to secure best possible market health/conditions.

I would even make it with closed bids if I could get bookies to accept that. Highest bidder gets main sponsor slot and topic name, second best bid gets Superbru pool name and all others get space in OP. All of them get mentions during the season and small extra competitions if desired.

I think bigger pools are usually more fun and more result based for the participants,I say so based on my personal experience there which I moved from 43th to 13th with just two weeks of good results,something I highly doubt can be achieved in the Champions League pool for the simple reason here are almost half less participants so for me the best pools are the ones with a lot of users and a huge amount of Bitcoin sponsored by any reputable casino just like Betnomi is doing here by giving a great amount to be distributed among the winners.

In the end everyone has their own liking of how a pool should be,I have played in Nations League,21 participants,in F1 with 12 or 14 don't remember,in here with 35 and the Premier League with 61 users,for me they are all appealing giving me extra emotions to watch the games or races.
