Same situation for me, I need to make my UCL predictions now because I will be busy tomorrow during the day and I see few matches are starting earlier than others.
I have no idea about injuries and missing players, and I don't have time for deep research, so it's going to be true miracle if I make good result again

Asking everyone for Superbru help, is it possible to lock separate matches that start only on October 4, and next day to select other matches starting on October 5?
Or I have to lock all matches before Round 3 starts?

I think you are able as the lock button is individual below the game you are predicting,so you can decide which picks you want to lock,I never lock the picks though as I don't want the others to see my picks,so I let them just saved so I don't miss any points and other people can only see them when the games start.Of course I am no guru at Champions League pool as it is my first time here and I am way down the standings yet it gives me a sense of privacy that my picks are not being "copied" by others.

Guardiola gave a statement yesterday saying that City medical service is to thank for Haaland being able to play every match. Then he added that he will be rotated for sure at some games. On the other hand I am sure he is chasing many records and wants to continue.

Will be making my picks later today, club football gives us so much more than national games. Really spoiled for choices.

Ah, so all this while Dortmund's medical team were the ones who were at fault for not helping Haaland to play all season? For me that's always good news when players who are known to be injured all the time suddenly find a way to be fit again. I wish even there would be some type of network that allowed clubs to use each other's medical facilities to get all players healthy.

Imagine you play for low leagues and get injured, so what are they supposed to just be injured because they have no good docs?

It is good when we are participating in different pools,this way we are never bored during the weekend and also midweek days when usually the Champions League is.I think it is to early to put the predictions,I will do so tomorrow near the start of the games as I need to know a lot more information regarding each team,players,injuries and alike before making my picks.Not that by doing so gives me an advantage because I am doing poorly so far in the pool but at a psychological level it sure helps me a lot in instilling self confidence to do better in the pool.

Indeed my friend I feel like my life is happier even with all this football, and imagine, I am not even watching most of them but waking up and watching replays later feels good in my own world, too. Plus with Champions League I do try to stay up for Barca, however if they lose then I have a bad day and zombie eyes lol

You can lock any pick anytime until the kick off. It has nothing to do with rounds or other matches. But make sure you are happy with the pick that you are about to lock because you can not change your numbers once it's locked.

Oh my God, I just gave those deadwood a 1-1 draw in the pool, I looked up the shoreline and saw Sporting leading, and I was confident that Marseille would equalize in the second half, only to return a few minutes later to see Marseille leading by 3-1. I noticed a red card but didn't bother checking or caring how it happened until I read your post. The worst keeper performance I've seen in a long time was Villarreal vs. Liverpool in the Champions League second leg; Villarreal's keeper was the reason they lost that game. That's terrible.

I only bet on Tottenham and PSG to WEH. Last leg of the first round is always very tough with much draws.

Why are these teams falling behind after taking an early lead, I had a 2-2 draw prediction in the pool as well, I just have to give up on today's games, nothing makes sense. With a 3-1 deficit, I don't see Ajax getting anything out of this game. I'm hoping to recover from tomorrow's games.

Alison did it in the domestic cup final against Chelsea, but Anthony and VAR chose to ignore the incident and neither a card nor a free kick were issued. I forget if we faced the same challenges against Westham.

Napoli scores the fourth goal, they do the same thing with Ajak that followed with Liverpool at home. Now it becomes interesting for me to watch the Napoli match with Liverpool at Anfield. Spalletti really managed to make a great team with Napoli, I admit that I was skeptical about their result, but they just prove on the field with their game that they can confidently defeat strong opponents.

Can Bregge beat Atletico? Brugge is another team that I didn't expect anything from, especially in the group with Porto and Atletico.

Napoli is on a run here aren't they,they have scored 10 goals against Liverpool and Ajax combined.They sure are doing well in the Serie A,their local league but I never expect them to be this good and leading the difficult group they found themselves in the Champions League so I am impressed.

Liverpool as expected just did their job and won 2-0 against Rangers,now their focus is completely here in the Champions League because in the Premier League they have had some pretty bad result that cannot anymore fight for the title there.

Inter Milan once again surprised and it looks it will be them who will qualify further in the Champions if they manage to get a draw in the game that they will play against Barcelona in Camp Nou.

Painful loss for Barca which can cost us very expensive (literally). Lewandowski was invisible today. Barca today made so many crosses like they would have Luuk De Jong in attack. Well, decisive game against Inter next week.
What happened to Ajax. I'm not surprised that they lost against such good Napoli. But concede 6 goals at home is embarrasing. And offcourse, Kvicha is one of goalscorers.
Brugge won against Atletico. Seems that I had good feeling avoid betting on Atletico today.

Can someone tell what's the point of locking picks? Once made predictions, it's fine. And without locking it you will be able to change it as many times you want before deadline.

Well, I couldn't agree any more with you, totally awkward set of results in majority of the games, Ajax losing 6-1 Napoli, who could have saw that coming, and Marseille also were also rampant today, but then Tottenham and Atletico Madrid actually were the ones who ruined majority of my betslips.

And then there's Barcelona playing somewhat a good game but lost and are that's another dent on their hope for qualification for the next round. I strongly tomorrow fixture are rather more straight forward.
