That moment when your Champions League season end in middle of October. I know that Barca have problems with injuries, but I hope that I won't see Pique playing in important games anymore. I'm literally stunned! Club Brugge were the underdog of the group, but they dominated the group, and without conceding home and away from Atletico Madrid, Porto and Leverkusen.

Barcelona are probably out, I really don't want to have my hopes up, having to depend on beating Bayern and hope Inter doesn't isn't something worth being very hopeful about.

Even if he comes back in 2023 he is not that young anymore and I doubt this will change anything,yesterday though it was only the merit of the Inter goalkeeper that Barcelona did not win the game because they played I must say somewhat better than Inter.

For the pool though,pretty bad results either,I don't understand the Sporting lost game as they started great this Champions League only to keep losing soon after,also Inter draw which not many predicted and also I did not expect Leverkussen to lose that bad at home.

Barca game was very entertaining to watch, did not visit Twitter yet this morning but I am expecting some memes with Pique as main character. That first goal when he spreads his hands and intentionally lets the ball pass - priceless 

Of course I did not win, got screwed by Leverkusen and their incredible misses, can't even score from the spot.

This is technically incorrect (Barca in Europa).

Barca for you, for me and for most people who understand logic we know we are already out, and will play in Europa League, but mathematically we need Viktoria to at least draw against Inter and then Bayern to beat Inter - not impossible but something we should not hope for.

But we also need to win the next 2 games so that makes it, even a bigger challenge.

We are sad, but we can still fight in La Liga. I think Messi is wanted home, he wants home, everyone wants home, but it all depends on our finances.

The problem is that Inter will never draw with Plzen at home while they have won away and Plzen is not a team that can really compete in the group where they are in against 3 former Champions League winners teams.

I don't think is that bad to see Barca in Europa League,and in fact I think it is a good thing,there they have the upper hand against teams playing there so they are a really strong contender to win the Europa League this year.I have seen the teams at Europa League and they are all below Barca quality,based on this I think this is a good thing for Barca to go there.

I bet through a friend lately (I'm too lazy to transfer BTC to SB because most of it is in a cold wallet) and was lucky that he spent all his money in the morning so he didn't have any for my tickets. I would have bet on PSG for sure.

Today looks even worse than yesterday - not much value to be found. I think I'm skipping completely, only thing that looks semi - decent is a Spurs home win @1.55.

I most definitely would not have had a penny on PSG, knowing Messi would be miss the game, and not just that but because Benfica are also an absolute class so far, and the awful game from PSG in the weekend was a factor for me, the one trap I fell for was Juventus to win against Maccabi Haifa, Now Juventus are probably eliminated already, Maccabi Haifa was their ticket out of the group stage after they lost both first 2 fixtures, a win for Benfica against Maccabi Haifa will definitely send the through to the next stage, while Juventus face Benfica and PSG, I honestly don't see them winning both games.

Damn. So many unexpected results! But I'm only worried about one value outcome that I've thought about a lot - Barcelona - Inter. In the pool, I predicted the outcome 2-0 in favor of Inter, and in my opinion it was a super correct decision - if Inter had scored first, then most likely the game would have ended like that. But even with a bad start, Inter held the result in their hands, but Lewandowski's magic did its job and my prediction turned out to be wrong.
In general, I am glad that I went against all odds and made my own predictions in this pair (the first match I guessed the exact score 1-0 win for Inter).

Coming back to UCL, its really strange one thing, Inter was the team with low chance to go into 16 round in the papers, but seems like they go to 16 round, and Juventus who can be "easily" in that round its going to E.L. Milan its complicated but i think they can turn the situation against RB Salzburg.

As for Inter, the ratings were like this because everyone overestimated Barcelona and the first two places in the group were given to Bayern + Barcelona. This was nonsense from the beginning, since in the competition of three strong teams, the strongest + third in strength can win even purely due to the peculiarities of the order of games (in the last round, an unmotivated top 1 can give points). This is without even taking into account the fact that in fact Inter turned out to be stronger than Barcelona which was only strong on paper.

Europa League does not have its own paid pool on bitcointalk since we already have a lot of pools and each additional one puts more and more stress on finances of the regulars. For instance I am playing in at least 6 pools this season and I have probably even forgot some

There is Europa League pool on Superbru though and anybody can go there and join up for free to see how hard it is actually to predict Europa League games.

I've wondered myself! I actually got 2 invites from random people on SuperBru to join Europa but I didn't accept. And not so much because it's troublesome to enter picks, I could finish an entire round in under 30 seconds, but I usually don't even like to do that, you get this itch to just look things up and make careful picks. As Trofo says, though, I think we've reached saturation level on sponsored pools... I personally have never pushed so much on this forum looking for people to join. Main excuse was too many pools, and this is the biggest club football tournament there is, so I can't imagine even getting 10 people for Europa haha. No one's stopping anyone from starting one though

Juventus are a shock for me, Barca not so much (I'm actually more surprised they've managed to keep pace with Real this season in La Liga), but that's really down to an accumulation of factors (youth keep playing and sudden transfers I could never have foreseen like Lewie).

@swogerino I normally would agree that Barca have upper hand in Europe if (when haha) they drop but I thought that last season too about a certain club also named Barcelona and they fell to the eventual winners (epic KO matches too I feel like Barca only knows how to do epic KOs!)... except there's also Arsenal there now and they are probably a bit better atm.

with current form, I really cannot imagine some team challenging their position in Europa league
but, it is a long season after all, and same looked for Barca last year, their form was in upper direction, but they eventually were knocked in epic match by Eintracht

nevertheless, I like to watch Europa league, and especially Europa conference, since that is the level for smaller clubs, and most of European clubs that I support (Everton, Valencia, Leverkusen, Cagliari, Auxxere), but also domestic as Partizan, are in that category

I dont like Valencia now, but yes in the past when they reach the UCL finals with Canizares as goalkeeper and a few Argentinians in the team like, Kily Gonzales, Pablo Aimar (hero of messi childhood/pubberty, i dont know who knows that), Ayala.

I can watch some Eurpe League matches, I never watch League of Nations, but Europe Conference League is just a waste of time, empty stadiums, nobody cares, nobody want's to participate, it's a cup of extraordinary rejects.

I hardly have the time to make good picks in Champions League pool sometimes, and in Europa League there are more matches and teams I never follow, so I would not perform good.
Best pools are for Premier League ands some other big leagues, but I was very busy and I couldn't join one from start of this season.
If someone from forum starts a pool for World Cup Qatar that would be interesting for me to join.
