Actually can't wait to see some of your responses. I decided to back down from a total meltdown for one of the extreme favourites. No more messing around in the league phase now!

It's so strange to have Champion League in January. Usually you expect to see playoffs after winter break somewhere in the middle of February, but now it's just group phase. I left my picks in both. I'm somehwere in the middle of Pot B, but still went with boring picks. It's just not my way to go all in.

This is probably the only part I favour -- to have UCL much more spread out in schedule. The only reason we have January games now is because of extra games. I don't want extra games, I do want a way to watch the competition with fewer long gaps. That means fewer international shitty shit useless games. No YOLO for you, huh?

I actually had 9 risky picks initially when I first submitted but then I changed everything a few minutes ago, I went for a couple ~2x Odds, I just didn't want to go ultra aggressive just yet.

Atalanta vs Sturm Graz almost gave me some early joy, but the match was 2 goals short of giving me those "Over 6.5" points. My hope is now on Benfica vs Barcelona and Crvena Zvezda vs PSV Eindhoven for tonight. I need some magic

I just wasted 4 points on stupid Aston Villa as I was trying to chase bigger returns and higher odds
It would be much safer if I switched those points on Stuttgart to win against Slovan, or PSV to win against Red Star.
I had idea to place something on no goals for Club Brugge vs Juventus, but I dropped it in the last minute, still 0:0 in that match.
Now I have to wait to see if Brest and Bayern can bring me more points tomorrow.

Wow! It could be your lucky night then, Barcelona vs Benfica had 4 between them in 30 minutes, but unfortunately the first half ended that way, and PSV also with 3 goals in the first half, maybe one of these could give you that spark. I had mostly gone for the No Goal option and a couple of upsets win like Zagreb and Salzburg against Arsenal and Real Madrid respectively before changing it, also had Juventus “No Goal”, so maybe that’s one I’d have kept an eye on if I didn’t change my picks.

WTF Szczesny, WTF Barca. What a disaster, he responsible for 2 Benfica goals, his performance tonight is Lord Karius level. 4th goal also was result of no communication between defenders and goalkeper. Don't know why Flick didn't let Pena, I thought that Szczesny will play in cup only...

Agree about gaps, but unfortunately, new CL format doesn't affect international breaks, all these boring windows remain on calendar.

Well I would have expected a bit more of Crvena Zvedzia against PSV when PSV was left with 10 players, they scored 2 goals but I need one more to get another 8 or 10 points to my 11 from Barcelona and that would have been the perfect night for me in Pot B though I still have three other games with over 5.5 and over 6.5 in tomorrow games so I expect at least one of them to hit too and this would be great for my performance, I am already happy that I am not at a -5% during this week too as I consider any positive points week a positive week.

Watched Liverpool - Lille so just caught the short highlights of the Benfica - Barcelona game. Won't even try to find the extended ones, this is a game that I'll rewatch from start to finish.
Juve ruined my great ticket, so thanks for that assholes. I've never seen a team draw so much, ever.

Funnily, I had a BCGame coupon, went for 3 draws. Juve, Atletico and Barca.
After Juve finished, wanted to see the cashout - it was 600$. Decided not to, it was a 1000$ ticket, Barca just equalised after trailing all game, mostly by 2 goals, and Atletico seemed like it's going nowhere - both teams with red cards.
That was 88th minute on these 2 games, ended up with both of them going the wrong way

Hot damn indeed. I knew the Juventus game always had a chance of nil-nil, but you would think they wanted to win that big time. The Barca game was a sort of hedge -- in BSFL I thought, nah, this is Benfica, they'll keep sniping but they're afraid of Barca's marauders. I lost a point on BSFL but banked big on the overs, what a way to parachute into the top spots, eh?

P.S. Over 6.5 wasn't even the biggest scoreline afforded by BC.Game. I think Over 7.5 was 14x or thereabouts!

Well done for real to buwaytress as getting over 50 points in a single match day is fucking fabulous like that Tom Ford Perfume  . Tonight very important games indeed and also one game I have chosen for over 5.5 goals is Arsenal vs Dinamo Zagreb, now Dinamo is not the best team and they conceded 9 goals when playing away at Bayern Munchen in the first or second match day don't remember now so since Arsenal is also on great shape quite some goals to be scored it is something that should happen in this game. The same I can say for Feyenoord vs Bayern game and the Manchester vs PSG game, more points hopefully in Pot B which is the best thing to play for here.

Ugh, I had the same thoughts but I decided to spread every of the high odds bet with only 1 point lol. If only I went with atleast 2 points then I would have gotten quite a lead as well. You were jumping through everyone with that 54.8 points of yours and you got 2 more bets left to gather even more points

Its one of the strategy to get ahead of everyone else. We will always have some players that will bet like this until the very end of this tournament so yeah eventually few players will be lucky with their bets though. I personally think this will only be effective on group stage, once we get to the next stage then variances like this would most likely stop

In retrospective, 0-0 Juve made a lot of sense. I went the other way, max points on Real drawing today - seemed like a better option for equally good odds.
Just shows how crazy pot B can get, those in the top spots still have a long way to go to defend them.

Was great in both pots last season (1st and 2nd if I recall correctly) but can't get anything correct this year and am sitting at the bottom. At least in PotB there's always a chance with some crazy picks, eh?

This is a really tough blow (another haha) to the psyche of City players and the club drops to 25th place  Can we believe in Brugge (I wonder what the odds will be, a good option for pot B it seems) that City will lose to Brugge and remain out of the Champions League playoffs.

Tonight matches have its fair share of unexpected results, Bayern Munich is literally the most surprising one for me, I never saw that one coming, Bayern Munich losing 3 goals to Feyenoord is really an odd one, I'm not fully surprised by Man City losing from a position of a 2-goal advantage, they've done it a number of times this season already, they had squandered a 3-goal lead against Feyenoord 2 match rounds ago, so it wasn't much of a big deal if PSG with a squad far better than that of Feyenoord does it too.

What a crazy round, thankfully for me i can grab and catch a bunch of points in both Pots, the only thing missing to be the cherry on top it was Bayern Munich scoring goals so i can take the points for the over 6.5 goals in that game in which i put 4 points of my stake.

What about buwaytress winning in his own pool? how it goes? I see him always with the wooden shoes so is gonna be strange to see him walking around us with a shiny ones new shoes and purple cap
