In Pot B everyone has a chance because literally one choice with x10 gives you 40 points and throws up. I have a good position to try to improve it and since everyone else will also take risks I have to take risks too haha. Unlike SuperBru, here the maximum win is unlimited, so there are no "reliable" strategies.

Yes, this is a new format where in the draw they do not take into account the country from which the team is. In the old format, if I'm not mistaken, it was simply impossible to see a couple from the same country before the quarterfinals. One of the games I'm looking forward to, and perhaps Dembele will be available for both legs; aren't PSG the underdogs here?  I mean, they've lost all of their best players over the last two seasons and are completely rebuilding.  Although they have had a strong season, Liverpool still has an advantage due to their experience.Imo

I read that this is the match predicted to have the lowest amount of goals by some computer, because both are actually very good in front and back but they also want to be careful.

PSG has less to worry about, their title is more or less in their hands, Liverpool can still slip up, and also got EFL final coming up.

Anything is possible, technically. Have played around a bit with some options but it grows in complexity, and we even have some tweaks planned for the next proper update. It's really just joker_josue doing it on his time. But since no one is paying us, or rather, I'm paying all the costs of building this, you have to rely on my generosity (which isn't much) to see new updates It is a pet project / passion project right now. Also, might just give it away to someone else to continue (I don't know, it feels like a lot to handle continuously).

I try to implement improvements over time, depending on my availability.
Some are more complex and take a little longer, others are faster.

I believe that next season, things will be more aligned and even more interesting. The project starts to get more and more interesting and challenging. I have some ideas planned, but they will come to calmly.

I had to switch my picks because I wasn’t by any chance confident in them anymore, maybe I’ll just have to put in more effort in order to make certain calls about the upsets to go for, I think If I pay more attention to those markets it will be easier, but I’ve been more of a Over/Under and 1X2 guy so adjusting to the new markets is somewhat harder right now.

The current top 3 would resort on this type of 'safe' tactics but thats because they want to hold their current position for the prizes. For us that isnt on top 5 yet, there is no point to keep it safe yet imo

Yeah, the tactics was about this round alone, where I could not find anything easy to go with, I just went with a few low odds and some even ones as well, I felt it would be better If I’m able to get those 10 points back at the end of the round than just getting zero, especially since I realized that my initial picks were rather just unrealistic 🙃

Yes when I saw Slaman and Omikifuse with already 40+ points in the leaderboard I couldn't believe it. It must be one of the biggest score of the season for a single outcome, and even for a whole round, while they've done it with only 4 matchs played. Fortunately there was no own goal in PSV-Arsenal despite the amazing 8 total goals. I guess we'll see few other "all-in" big scores tomorrow from other kamikazes.

PSV hasn't been in good form lately, and as such it was obvious tonight's match wasn't going to be any easy, most especially why playing with a big club with Arsenal, which happens to be the second of the English Premier League table. Because if you could look at the head to head statistics of both clubs, you will notice that Arsenal has always been at advantage, and tonight's outcome wasn't any strange. Because if not that Thomas Partey happened to have pull Luuk de Jong by the shirt, which resulted to a a penalty by the referee, and Noa Lang was lucky enough to have scored at 43 minutes into the game. I swear this game would have ended up with a clean sheet of 7 goals to nil. Because it's very clear that Arsenal has the most ball possessions and shots on target right from the beginning of the game till the end.

That's what guts gives you - this pool rewards audacious risk takers rather than low-risk takers, a reason why I like it over other pools.  I was tempted to take one of the own goal odds, but I went with Liverpool winning from behind at 11/1. PSG likes to score first, and Liverpool loves to come back from behind, so I predict PSG to take an early lead and Liverpool to come back twice to win the game.

Invested heavily on corners - can't even remember those games anymore but I'm guessing Bayern game is one of them.

Real Madrid - ATM game was match made in heaven. Enjoyed it.
