I was really negative about Chelsea's chance to advance to next round. But here we are and they are in the quarter finals.

Firstly I wasn't expecting Chelsea to be this much dominant. Because they have been a very inconsistent team for a long time. Besides they were playing against a very in-form team like Dortmund. But Chelsea just had the game under control mostly and even managed to finish the job in regular time. I wonder how Dortmund were so ineffective there. I think they should have played with a more attacking style after conceding the first goal. By the way, Havertz was so lucky that he got a chance to use the penalty again. It was so obvious that he was going to try the same corner therefore I wonder why the goalkeeper chose the other one again.

How did you know they would win against Dortmund? If Dortmund played to their normal levels Chelsea would have never scored. Dortmund played the worst they have played this season and Chelsea are not instantly better because they beat a under performing Dortmund team. Any other day and I think Dortmund wins that game Chelsea got lucky and they have not improved there were many times in the game where Dortmund should have scored. Chelsea looked better but I do not know how much is because they improved or because Dortmund played very badly.

I was always surprised that such a strong team as PSG leaves early enough. But today they have a chance, since the first match ended with a minimal lead, despite the absence of Neymar they have every chance. I did not expect Chelsea to win at all, not even remotely close. I always suspected that they were doing pretty bad, and they would continue to do bad and they would lose this one too, plus Dortmund was doing so great, and I expected them to keep doing better in the long run as well, which did not happen and I guess that is going to keep happening for sure.

It's fine though, I am not saying that we shouldn't really expected teams like Chelsea to lose, and I learned my lesson here, I am not going to end up betting based on just momentum, I am going to bet on the rosters as well, that was my mistake. I didn't wager too much at least, so I didn't lose too much.

Everyone is having his own review about these matches because I was expecting this win but not with the 2 - 0 because of their recent performance, but they have done good performance against team like Borussia Dortmund and turn the tables in their favor which is good positive change for them after having the worst performance in last few months under Graham Potter, but the win against Leeds United is surely motivational for them which bring good confidence and now with this win we can expect good results in coming matches as well because having two clean sheets in last two matches mean their defense is having better depth, and now they need to work on attack which is still needs better strategy for having better things in coming rounds of this season.
