I think it will be extremely difficult for Chelsea to progress further in the Uefa Champions League when they play against Borussia Dortmund today. The performance of Chelsea are horrible with the current manager in charge, I guess the home fans of Chelsea might witness another defeat of their team against Borussia Dortmund at the final whistle.

Graham Potter's Chelsea scorecard is really bad. Borussia Dortmund recently competed for the Bundesliga title with Bayern Munich. After their successful league matches, I am sure they will win against Chelsea that went bad. For Graham Potter, this exam will be a very difficult one. A more difficult match will be waiting for the team that will go to the next round.

If it was when Chelsea was scoring, it wouldn't be a serious issue for Chelsea to get 2 goals. At a time it became worse for Chelsea to the extent that no striker was scoring anymore. It was even James from defence that was getting occasional goals for Chelsea. This is why I am not always pleased when Graham Potter is seen as the total and ultimate cause of Chelsea woes.

Real Madrid will definitely win Liverpool, Liverpool might have a super weekend winning Manchester united but that doesn't guarantee their victory over Real Madrid. Liverpool should be careful with their playing tactics so that they don't conceive much goals up to that of the first leg.

Real Madrid is UCL favourite and they are used to the league. To my understanding, I see that this club has a strategy that they use to turn their games around into a victorious one in this league because if you look at their performance, it shows that they are always desperate to win UCL. From my own view is like this team is built only for UCL which remains the highest league after the world cup.

Now situation is very interesting with Liverpool thrash Manchester Untied and fans are now feeling things can change in this match as well, and I am also feeling this can happen, but now we will have this match will be ended in draw or win for the Liverpool, but score could be like 1 - 0 or 2 - 0 which will be enough for the Real Madrid to go through into next round because their winning margin in first leg was big and surely guaranteed for their spot into last eight.

Even we all know Champions League is game of predictable results and surprises but still things are in Real Madrid favor because they have already done enough for their qualification in first leg match their performance is also not good at home with they are facing some injuries issues and also having problems with their attackers which are not efficient like in last season which is giving them poor results in La Liga and Copa del Roy matches.

We are very well aware that this battle is not easy for the home team, there are many doubts about what Graham Potter's team is displaying. Chelsea's performance is so very bad, even though it has been strengthened by several newcomers. what makes me doubt is Chelsea's front line, they don't have a sharp striker who is able to find the net.

As for Kai Havertz, I don't know why Potter still makes him the main start even though he doesn't contribute anything in terms of scoring. but, if we refer to the predicted line up that Potter applied in this match. it seems, Potter will try again his luck with the 3-4-3 formation pattern. Felix, Kai, Mudryk, are paired up front. maybe, with this pattern Chelsea can optimize the game.

To be honest, I have a feeling that this match will be won by Chelsea. However, I'm not sure about the final score. because, I have another assessment of Dortmund in this match. but anyway, I hope this match will present a fierce battle from the two teams. especially Chelsea, they have to give their best version of the game even though it looks like they will have difficulty toppling Dortmund.

Benfica really outplayed club brugge in the first leg and am expecting the same result to happen especially that this time around they will have their fans come in numbers to see to it that they get the job done to make it to the next round . Tbh going down by 2 goals isn't much of a big margin but I see this game having the Portuguese side scoring 3 goals or so just to ensure that they keep a clean sheet and have its strikers challenge for the golden boot.

For the Benfica vs Club Brugge match, I have no doubt favored Benfica. Benfica has been outstanding all season in the Portuguese league. so I'm sure this fight will ensure Benfica qualify for the next round.

Benfica certainly will be qualified to quarter final and it because impossible for Club Brugge to win with 3 goals margin at Benfica home ground so this match will belongs to Benfica and about squad conditions Benfica probably will lost Alexander Bah because of injured but it won't be a big deal for Benfica because other player such as Gilberto can be replace his position on the squad and if talking about betting purposes Benfica win seems good picked for this match although the odds for this option was quite low @1.36 but i think this is safe bets

This rate is too low for me.  Not worth the risk for 1.36 odds.  Benfica can play a little more comfortably due to the advantageous score in the first game.  In this case, Club Brugge can win the match, but I'm sure they will not get the score to pass the round.  It is also a success that Club Brugge has come this far.

Dortmund only had a 1 goal lead when they faced Chelsea in their own stadium so I don't think that Chelsea is out of the Champions League or at least not yet, dortmund is not as phenomenal as imagined that's why they only able to score 1 goal and it happened at their home, so Chelsea's chances are still there it's just that doubts about them have always existed and will remain until they show good development and Potter still can't bring his team to the level they should be if they can only score one goal then there will be extra time and if it stays with the score like that it will be a Penalties shootouts and penalty shootouts will run differently from matches at normal times because both teams return to their starting point so anyone can qualify for the next round.

I think Chelsea can beat Dortmund at home.  No matter how erratic and unstable they are, maybe Chelsea can win with the home advantage.  I actually don't trust Graham Potter much.  I believe Borussia Dortmund will pass the round, but having the match against Chelsea may change things.  The score in the first game was 1-0 and a one-goal disadvantage can be easily changed.

This is just the fans of Chelsea moving the odds on their favor, personally seeing how Chelsea is playing and how Dortmund is not a weak team at all I would make a bet on Dortmund with those odds without thinking about it, I could still lose the bet of course but the odds are good enough to take a good bet on their favor, and if Chelsea was eliminated from the Champions I wonder if this will be enough for Potter to get fired, as the Champions is the only trophy they still have some realistic chances to win.

Do you think it is an advantage when you play in a weak league and then play against Champions League competitors from the strongest leagues in the world because you can focus better on the CL and neglect your national league? I think it is quite the opposite and I have been thinking that for a long time. When the top teams are challenged every single week and they get used to constant pressure over a long period of time, they don't have to switch gears as much as PSG has to switch gears. You have no real tests and you don't know where you stand until you meet the first big one in the Champions League. In my eyes that is not an advantage.

Again, PSG's defense is not the best, but it is not the worst either. But when you compare it to other teams, when you take the whole defensive movement and overall performance of the whole squad, then it kicks in that PSG has three players standing around at the midfield line while other teams have a compact defense where some of the offensive players also work defensively. That makes quite the difference.

I do not think it is a advantage to play in a weaker national league that is what I am trying to highlight. PSG defense is good for their league but when they play in the Champions League they have some of the worst statistics in tackling and conceding goals from number of attacks. They only do not concede as many as other teams because they have the ball a lot because of their attacking players but their defenders are not good enough for the champions league. I am not saying they are not good players or their defense is not good I am saying it is not good enough for the Champions League. Real Madrid and Manchester City as a eg show that you need good defenders to win the league and they have good attacks but they have just as good defense. Do you think that PSG have the same quality defense as previous winners of the Champions League? I do not think so and I think if they corrected it because it is their weak point they can win the Champions League but they need to do it before neymar and Messi retire.

Ok I get your point, but even that is a bit more complicated because maybe if those players would play on Premier League level every single week, they would also be better. They are unchallenged in too many games and Premier League clubs have a hard game almost every week. Yes if Manchester City plays against teams from the table bottom, there are also games where it is not that hard for them. But on many more occasions they have tough games on the highest level possible in domestic soccer. When you meet Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea on a regular basis, it doesn't compare to Ligue 1 and that is a big issue.

I think even Mbappe doesn't score a lot of goals in Ligue 1. With his quality and at his age now. Messi scored 50 goals in La Liga 2011/2012. Mbappe is going to turn 25 now as well this year and so far he scored 18 goals in 26 games. For a player of his quality and with such a dominant squad, it doesn't sound that much. And he can be so dangerous as a striker.

It will be a very tough game between chelsea and Dortmond. With chealsea present squad, i am 90% sure of winning Dortmund.
Chelsea last match against Leeds utd was almost impossible for chelsea to score but team work and massive attack helped them in achieving a winning goal.
Chelsea has a strong defence unlike Manchester United, i so much have confidencein Enzo, he performed wonderfully in the midfield. Considering their last match, chelsea needs more effort on there forward and Defence because Dortmond is a team that has the strategy of scoring and defending their goal.

Yes , Dortmund is in advantage a bit, but 1-0 victory over Chelsea is not a secured victory in my opinion, and if Chelsea should first just get 1 goal it will worsen the situation for Dortmund and put the whole game into starting afresh. If Dortmund had scored up to 2 goals during their first leg, this could have a kind of sealed the game for them and it would have become difficult for Chelsea to turn around looking at their poor performance. However the match is still an open game for both teams and if Chelsea should put more effort in this game they will be able to qualify having them playing at home.
