Bayern increased the pressure in the second half and as a result scored two goals, but one was canceled due to offside. With a little more than half an hour left in the match, I doubt very much that PSG will have enough time to rectify the situation.

PSG deserved to end up losing because their game today was not very promising. The midfield was not well guarded and it was clear to Nagelsmann that this was the ideal opening for a counterattack. The difference is that PSG plays at close range, while Bayern certainly has long-distance specialist players which make PSG back line often fall behind when attacked back. Regarding Mbappe and Messi, maybe they didn't look so optimal, because even from the first half, the two of them were really tightly guarded.

In my opinion, the game is already over as I really don’t see PSG coming back from this in the 5 minute extra time added. Bayern won it with 2-0 in the end and over the course of the two games i think it is fair to say that Bayern definitely deserved to advance into the next round. Of course it was not as easy for Bayern as the final result may suggest because Paris had a few good chances to go in front in the first half, but one time Messi was stopped and the second time De Ligt was able to save the ball closely before the goal line, after that huge mistake by Sommer. After Bayern scored the first goal it was a totally different game of course. Paris needed two goals then and therefore they have risked almost everything and therefore they received another goal.

Overall another disappointing season for Paris and it just proves again that money can not buy success.

Well, it was a huge disappointment for PSG. They did nothing to win the match. Maybe it would've been different if they had scored in the first half. Bayern won very easily, even in their current state. I guess it's a psychological thing now. PSG doesn't stand a chance against Bayern. I don't think this Bayern can make it to the final though.

It is another failed champions league mission for psg. I wasn't surprised they lost because it was obvious from the first half when there was no one to link up Mbappe and Messi. The personality of the samba boy Ney was missed in tonight's match.
With the way things are going, it looks as if Psg and Manchester City may not win the Champions League this times no matter how much they prepare and spend for it.

This loss is a devastating blow to the PSG team. Both teams played good football but the defensive blunder from the PSG side led to the first goal. The second goal was just a technical knockout to the PSG team because they have to score three goals to coverup the deficit. From tomorrow we might start hearing about sack and transfer news form the French outfit. But they should take solace in the fact that they are performing well in the French league which means they would have the opportunity of playing in the competition next season. I feel sorry for the owners of the club that have not been able actualize it's aim of winning the Champions League trophy.

Messi must be fuming and feeling frustrated right now. It is 8 consecutive seasons since he last lifted club football's most prestigious trophy. To him this present PSG team at the moment is the best that can help him win the Champions League for the last time before he calls it a day in his illustrious and trophy laden career and considering his uncertain future at the end of the season which means that this might be the last time that Messi is gonna compete for the the trophy again.

Their stats in the Champions League are really not that great, but sometimes it sounds worse than it is. If you meed Bayern Munich in the round of 16 and you get kicked out, it is not as bad as if you get kicked out in the round of 8 against Villareal, which happened to Bayern Munich.

If PSG wants to win that game against Bayern in their stadium in Munich and you get such a chance like the one when Sommer made that huge mistake inside his box, you have to score that goal. If the opponent wants to hand over a present to you and you don't take it, how can you then beat Bayern? That shot was a shame. It has to be goal when the goal is empty...

The game between Tottenham and Milan ended the way I expected it to end. Ac Milan had more shots and even more shots on target. Them advancing to the next round is a deserved outcome.

Conte's yellow card really dampened his moral while the two yellow cards in the defence was a 50% weakness for them. I then concluded that it will take miracles for any of the yellow carded players not to be red carded before the match ends. Unfortunately the miracle didn't happen and Romero got a red card for himself.  So far only 1 England team is through for the next round.

Well, it was a huge disappointment for PSG. They did nothing to win the match. Maybe it would've been different if they had scored in the first half. Bayern won very easily, even in their current state. I guess it's a psychological thing now. PSG doesn't stand a chance against Bayern. I don't think this Bayern can make it to the final though.

Team full of stars such as Messi and Mbappé couldn’t take this League so far that’s so unacceptable and sad for PSG fans we saw many chances in the first half to score and one of it was stopped just by some inches by Bayern defenders after the goalkeeper was out. I can say that luck wasn’t in PSG side again this year with the first leg where many stars didn’t play and now they missed true chances to make things even and have an opportunity to turn the match on their side.

I was really hopeful about PSG but they couldn't make it. This time things went even worse for them as they lost by 2-0 in 90 minutes. I really don't know how they can't be competitive enough in the second leg. I mean they didn't play badly statistically maybe. They had Mbappe and Messi both on the pitch in the end. But the problem was that they couldn't reflect this effort onto the score.

Bayern Munich were just playing before their supporters and they met the expectations. Even without Lewandowski they are still able to eliminate one of the biggest title contenders without conceding a goal.
