There are some teams that have an easy match because they have a weaker opponent, and also they already have an aggregate goal. Benfica being one of those teams, they faced Club Brugge and they already have 2 goals saved. With Benfica's superiority they are a team that will occupy a place in the quarter-finals in my opinion, because I personally don't believe there will be any surprises in the second leg later.

Indeed, it looks like Real Madrid will be the UCL champion again this season because of all the teams that competed in the first leg, only Real Madrid has been confirmed to qualify for the next round. But indeed, several other teams also have the same opportunity, such as Napoli and Bayern Muchen, who could become candidates for the UCL title this season as well. But for Manchester City, in my opinion, they will at least be able to qualify for the semifinals, even though they have the same aggregate as Leipzig, but in the second leg, I'm sure Pep Guardiola's squad will win the match.

I am not sure before their game against Liverpool they had a lot of injuries and Liverpool are 1 of the worst teams in the Champions league this season and judging Real Madrid on the performance against them is not going to be the same when they face better opponents. I think Real Madrid are 1 of the favorites but I am not confident enough to bet on them winning the trophy.

It is a great analysis that you do, of course I as a good fan of Real Madrid would bet, because I see that things in the League for Real Madrid are very uphill, however nothing is impossible in football, Barcelona lost Europe League, they are in a very difficult moment, but they have a great advantage, they can still be champions, the League is very important for Real Madrid, that is a fact but when you see it from another point of view, I think Florentino prefers to have the "orejona" than the league, and in my opinion it is not bad at all.

I thought we would have matches for the CL next week, but apparently there is 3 weeks between the home and away games. Understandable because of the busy schedule, but a pity for the football supporters. PSG still have every chance against Bayern Munich but that will depend on Mbappe's form on the day and how good Messi is. Messi doesn't always have good memories in the CL when it comes to a match against Bayern Munich. I also give RB Leipzig a small chance to continue in the game away at City. They weren't that bad in Austria.

Many things will change in some teams in this season that will make Manchester city not to achieve anything from this season. Manchester city experienced draw game from small team in their past game that made people to doubt if Manchester city will win this title. If Manchester city cannot display well in their next games show that Real Madrid or Napoli will  be close to the position to win this title to surprise people.

The way City will play could depend on the punishment they could get. If they get something small then the players will feel fine about everything and they can play amazingly, so far this season they have shown that they can play better than all the previous seasons, plus they got a striker that scores better than anyone they ever played with or against.

However, if they end up getting a punishment that is very severe, like even taking away titles levels, and they have some financial issues, then it could turn out that players may not want to play their best for a team they will leave in a few months, they may start focusing on where they will go next season and not care about UCL this year.

Leipzig was almost not on the field in the first half, they were quite bad. We watched a purely dominant City in the first half. But whatever the coach said at halftime, the second half was the opposite, Leipzig played big, this draw is enough for them for now.
