Chelsea have lost again in the Premier League, and they must chase one goal on aggregate from Borussia Dortmund if they are to be in the quarter-finals. I know they played the first leg before there were better games, but it was just better and it didn't affect their win. Honestly I'm getting pessimistic with Chelsea now to be able to win their second leg match. The reasons are obvious and I don't have to say anymore seeing how Chelsea are right now.

In  the Premier League, Chelsea continues to experience consecutive defeats. and most recently Chelsea lost to Tottenham with a score of 2-0. even though he had several chances but still not a goal. and I see that the goalkeeper K. Arrizabalaga and the Chelsea back line have a bad performance. so I also feel a little pessimistic for the second leg match later against Dortmund. but since it will be a home game for Chelsea I expect some surprises in the game.

Leipzi must have make lots of scores to be qualified for last 8. There are some clubs that have been confirmed to go to the last 8 since these clubs were winning with big scores like real madrid and napoli.

Manchester city gonna face some big clubs that may able to defeat it again. This opportunity may come again in the upcoming season but it's very hard for pep to miss it.

Pep wans to give city UCL trophy and that's it.

I feel confident Man City are more favourites to qualify. One goal made at home to Leipzig made Man CIty very lucky. A draw, without a goal is enough to get them through the next phase. It should be that Man City can make more goals and win. Pep certainly already knows how short Man city were in the first game. The six players up front made it difficult for Pep to implement the strategy when they played in Germany. The match will still last more than two weeks. Man City have a fairly busy schedule and will play three times before against Leipzig.

Manchester City and Leipzig will decide their fate at the Etihad stadium, Pep must not waste the opportunity to go to the quarterfinals.
As one of the leading teams in the UCL this season, Manchester City must be able to give their best performance to pursue their dream of winning the UCL trophy for the first time. Pep will prepare his team with a strong mentality to win the victory that was delayed in the first leg. The win at the Etihad stadium is very important for Manchester City, Pep must be able to maintain the quality of Manchester City's game to become the first coach to be able to give the UCL trophy to Manchester City.

First of all, I was actually very surprised to see the results of the first leg of Manchester City vs Leipzig. I thought Manchester City was going to win that match for sure. But Leipzig have proved that they are not a time to be taken lightly. It was a good result for them because going into the second leg, the aggregate score is not going to matter.

Do I think Manchester City is going to lose the next match against Leipzig in the Champions League 2nd leg? No. But is it possible that Manchester City is going to lose the second leg again Leipzig? Yes, it is very possible.  

I expect City to be ready for Leipzig. Just like @Mustang Shelby said, there is no reason for Manchester City to lose the match against Leipzig if Manchester City is able to perform well.

In my opinion, on the contrary, 0-1 against Milan is worse than even 0-2 (if the score was like that) from Dortmund. One goal advantage is historically all it takes for an Italian team to win. Now they have a simple game plan with Tottenham - to destroy the opponent's game and catch a chance on counterattacks, while Tottenham need to invent something to open the Milan defense without conceding a goal. With Tottenham so many losses this season, it looks like a daunting task.

I can't say that before the second leg is really over. The reason is that in football it is very possible for something to happen that can be said to be realistically impossible. I might agree that Liverpool will be eliminated, but with the other 2 clubs it looks like they still have a very big chance, moreover the goal they have to chase is 1 goal. Manchester City might be superior because they drew and only needed to score 1 goal to make them advance to the next round, but Leipzig is a club that could give them a big surprise, moreover, in the first leg they could play well.

Yes, all these teams have a chance (even Chelsea   ). In my opinion, the odds for teams in the City-Leipzig pair are quite interesting:

In addition to all this, when we look at the matchup, we see a Borussia Dortmund having a great season following Bayern Munich very closely in the BundesLiga. In the first match, they did not give any clear goal chances to Chelsea. Honestly, Chelsea have been struggling to score and find scoring positions this season, but Borussia Dortmund defended really well in the first game. If they play with the same seriousness in the second match, they may go to the next round without conceding a goal.

With the present state of Chelsea can they be able to challenge Dortmund even in their home?. It is very difficult for Chelsea to win games now expecially tough teams like  Dortmund. Potter will probably be fired at the end of the season but he needs to change his tactics to more defensive because he will end up costing Chelsea a few years at the top because a lot of their players will leave if they do not solve the problem they have. They need to qualify for the Champions League because they are already losing Mason Mount and if any other players follow him because they do not have Champions League football I can see them struggling to get back on top.

All odd favours Man City to win the second leg against Leipzig but we know how Manchester City can be in situations like this. Somehow they always fumble the opportunities they have against relatively lesser teams at this point of the competition. Man City had every opportunity to win the first leg but they kept missing all their chances and that might hunt them later. Things like this keep the hope of their opponent alive. It would make them start believing that they can actually knock out Man City, so they'll go into the second leg and play out their lives because they've got nothing to lose.

I think the difference in this fixture is Leipzig have a very hard few weeks in the Bundesliga and Manchester City have a easy few weeks in the Premier League so Manchester City can rest some of their better players while Leipzig are forced to play their best team. I think that might be the edge and a fresh Manchester City team against a tired Leipzig team is very scary. I think we could see a 2nd leg with a lot of goals and Manchester City winning by a large margin. I think it depends on how Leipzig decide to play their games in the Bundesliga and if they rest some of their players to prioritize the Champions League.

Do you mean globally or just in the Premier League? Since emotions and loyalty to a team cause fans to become one-sided with facts, I will have to side with Real Madrid before they sold Casemiro. However, I do have some faith in Manchester City to score two goals against Leipzig in the second leg to secure their place in the quarterfinals. If they lose to a team like that, it will make them appear weak and unreliable.

I don't believe Manchester City has been overly dependent on Haaland; in fact, when he wasn't present for matches, they were doing just well and winning Trophies before he became signed, he is just another goal-scoring machine who has given them consistency in winning.

Manchester City seem to play differently on most occasions when they play in the Champions league. I barely see the same performance level they exhibit in the Premier league. In the second leg I expect Guardiola to play a better side and go all out to get a win to qualify to the next rounds because it wouldn't look nice if they get knocked out at this stage of the tournament.

Real Madrid are still continuing to be Liverpool's nightmare in the Champions League. They are really haunting them and Liverpool are just so desperate to do anything against them. This season is something else for Liverpool. They are having the worst season since Klopp's arrival at the team. We all saw how this reflected on the Real Madrid game as well.

After this horrible defeat I don't expect a miracle from Liverpool obviously. Real Madrid can get another win in Santiago Bernabeu and seal the deal. Maybe Real Madrid are really dominating this tournament in general but Liverpool still should be able to do more with a squad like this normally.

Best position that could happen to Bayern. Beating Union Berlin and then seeing Dortmund play against Leipzig next. If anything is going to make this season interesting, Dortmund must win this game I guess.

I thought that Union Berlin is a hard nut to crack, but in this game Bayern was just superior.

For now it comes down to Dortmund.

Dortmund has been playing well enough that they could beat Leipzig as well, of course there is no guarantee, as I always say even Bayern could lose to Schalke and we shouldn't be shocked because we have been experiencing like this many times.

But, if Dortmund and Bayern keeps winning for a few more games and they basically get away from everyone and be the top two clearly? That should give a ton of viewing pleasure, in fact even if they end up losing, the fact that teams are close to each other says a lot about the league. It's not Bayerns league that they dominate anymore, it's close to each other and a few losses could see you drop as further as out of UCL, so everyone including Bayern should be careful.

I doubt that Schalke can beat Bayern these days, really that is not the case or it would have to be an unlucky turn of events like the early red card against Gladbach.
Bayern has problems to play a constant game. Now against Union Berlin that was the Bayern we all know, but they lost lots of points during the first half of the season as well. Now I hope that Dortmund remains at that level until at least they are playing against Bayern on April 1st. That would finally be a fun game to watch. The last time we had a close finish at the end of the season was in 18/19, but Dortmund won only 3 out of their last 5 games back then and the same happened to Bayern. That is when you need to be ready to go for it.

comebacks became a signature move for Real Madrid after they were losing against Liverpool 2-0 and won 2-5, three goals difference is too much for Liverpool to get back from especially in Santiago Bernabeu and against a team like Real Madrid, I definitely don't see it happening, Liverpool aren't doing well this season, they're suffering big time.
