Real Madrid are still continuing to be Liverpool's nightmare in the Champions League. They are really haunting them and Liverpool are just so desperate to do anything against them. This season is something else for Liverpool. They are having the worst season since Klopp's arrival at the team. We all saw how this reflected on the Real Madrid game as well.

After this horrible defeat I don't expect a miracle from Liverpool obviously. Real Madrid can get another win in Santiago Bernabeu and seal the deal. Maybe Real Madrid are really dominating this tournament in general but Liverpool still should be able to do more with a squad like this normally.

I just had a look at the odds for Liverpool to qualify for the next round and it is around 11.0.

This is a very interesting list created by the UEFA where they present Champions League comebacks. There are a couple of comebacks like Barcelona vs. Paris, or Liverpool vs. Barcelona, or Ajax vs. Real Madrid (first leg 1-2, second 1-4 with Ajax winning away). But never has a team been down with three goals after a home game and then turned it around. Though Ajax showed that they could beat Real Madrid 1-4 in their own stadium.

I still just have no idea how Liverpool can have a chance, but maybe they make a miracle happen and write history. I don't believe it.

At least, Napoli can focus more on the Champions League. they have packed 65 points in their domestic league, 18 points different from Inter and Milan. Napoli can focus on the Champions League matches, because it looks like the winning of the Serie A trophy is almost certain to belong to Napoli. in the game against Frankfurt, as we agreed. this fight will not be too difficult for them, especially in the second leg later. Napoli will play as the home team. I suspect that Napoli can become a team that becomes a stumbling block for other big teams if they meet in the next round phase. maybe, Napoli will surprise us.

It is way to risky to not to play your best players at this stage of the competition just because you’re having a two goal lead in the first leg. This is regarded as the most competitive club football competition in the world because of the surprises it brings. Not once or twice have we seen teams overturning 2, 3 and 4 goals. There isn’t much of any small team at every knockout stages of the competition so every team might have to approach the game with the best possible strategy.

In an article I read today Potter is complaining that now Chelsea has too many players and that is ruining his training sessions, yeah I know how that sounds but I am not joking, Chelsea went out there and spend hundreds of millions of dollars for the players he asked and now he is unhappy about having too much players to work with, so even if he seems to still have the trust from the team owners, if Chelsea keeps getting bad results he is going to get fired, and deservedly so if you ask me.

Here you are missing one more team as I have feeling just three teams out of eight are having fair chance for qualifying for the next round as four matches are having just one goal difference and one match was draw with Napoli, Benfica and Real Madrid all are in better position for having their next round tickets and others have to give their best.
