Inter - Porto has been one of the competitive matchups so far. Maybe not the majority of people are interested in this one because of its being a little boring.

Because there was only one goal in the first leg although there were so many goal attempts by both sides. Especially Inter were really bad at finding the target despite their being the winning side by 1-0. They wasted so many goal chances but hopefully they will be better next time. Porto have one of their important players missing due to a red card in the second leg - Otavio. But it is still going to be played in Portugal which is an advantage for them. Inter would try to secure their advantage first. Maybe this matchup might extend to extra time at least. But I still expect Inter to be the team advancing to next round.

I think Napoli, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Inter Milan will secure the victory in the Round of 16 matches. Because these teams are favorites in all aspects, each team is very responsible for their performance. But the Round of 8 matches will be fantastic.

After that miraculous turnaround and great victory against Barcelona, Liverpool then became European champions for the last time.

Basically what I’m saying is don’t waste money on betting Liverpool to qualify, it is not going to happen sadly.
The best odds/bet for me in the CL this season to win it is Napoli. They are a serious dark horse.

Yeah 3 goals difference is really a hard task for Liverpool, maybe betting on over or below option is profitable since Liverpool will try to score many goals and it will make Real Madrid score many goals in order to prevent from Liverpool can beat them. Real Madrid isn't a club which want to play in defense position, so the match should be a lot of goals. Napoli is a dark horse, but they seems doesn't have a good mentality.

I think everyone is free to choose to bet for any team and we cannot limit their freedom, if they still have high confidence in Liverpool then it is their right to make their own choice. But the problem is that they have to be ready to accept all the risks, because usually they will expect to win because they get high odds but are not ready to accept the worst risks.

Also, I agree with you that Napoli really don't have a very good mentality when it comes to the Champions League. But who knows, maybe because in this season Napoli has good dominance in Serie A, it is possible that the positive trend that Napoli has can have a good impact on the Champions League as well.

The second leg match that I think is quite interesting is Porto vs Inter. We know that in the domestic league, Inter often experience inconsistencies to win and they often find it difficult to break down the need to score goals. Meanwhile, Porto in the domestic league has performed quite well so far, but the problem is that in the second leg against Inter they (Porto) will not be strengthened by one of Otavio's key players after receiving a red card in the first leg. If inter Milan are at their best then of course I agree Inter Milan will be the underdogs in the second leg against Porto. but If Inter Milan's condition is not at their best then I doubt Inter milan will qualify for the next stage. and in the Serie A match this week Inter really disappointed me because they had to lose to Spezia. but I hope in the Champions League they won't make a mistake. although Porto are hosting this time. but Inter Milan should have won the game. I always suspected that they were doing pretty bad, and they would continue to do bad and they would lose this one too, plus Dortmund was doing so great, and I expected them to keep doing better in the long run as well, which did not happen and I guess that is going to keep happening for sure.

Chelsea picked up form prior to the Dortmund game, they won Leads United in their last match and the squad must have been energized by that win and wanted to continue winning. Also don't forget that the squad coach Graham Potter job was on the line as there were speculation of him to be sacked if he loses. The whole squad played that Dortmund game just for Graham Potter. You could see the determination in the squad. After the Dortmund game, Chelsea has continued in a winning form by beating a home clubin the premier league and that's something that they haven't been able to do in a very long time.

Meanwhile yesterday Dortmund couldn't even win their match atleast to show some frustration. Chelsea trashed Leicester city 3:1 while Dortmund drew with Schalke, I think the better team moved on so we shouldn't be surprised. Dortmund lack Champions League football experience. Chelsea are two time winners and frequently surpassed the round of 16 so it would had even be a surprise if we didn't defeat Dortmund to advance especially as we have the squad capable of doing such.
