It almost felt like this wasn't a UCL match, like Leipzig wasn't the team that managed to secure a 1:1 draw with Manchester City on there first leg. I was expecting a rather difficult game for Manchester City but, they had it too easy instead. Another 7 goals performance from an EPL side and even more ridiculous still, in the UCL with Erling Haaland scoring 5 goals. That's got to be some record.

I think he's got his experience from playing in the Bundesliga side with Dortmund and the quality of Manchester City to thank for this. Leipzig couldn't come up with anything  interesting and Manchester City just had to run them down. Such an exit for Leipzig!

Before the match started i was expecting to see 3.5 goals and both teams to score but Erling Haaland sealed the day and lets see whether Leipzig can score a consolation goal  .

British sports media has a way of singing great praises for  a particular player and will still be quick to point out the failures of same player when he's not performing at the top his ability.

There were already rumoured reports in the media claiming that the presence of Haland in the city squad has made the team not freely play their style of football and because their manager built the squad around him, so if he's not performing well city will struggle. But he came out tonight to give his critics absolutely wrong.

Those five goals reminds me of Robert Lewandoski during his stay at Bayern Munich with Pep Guardiola as head coach against Wolfsburg. Erling Haaland has got to be one of the best goal hunters I've seen and watched.
Kevin De Bruyne goal was also a spectacular one tonight, he didn't have a good game, I really think City should go on with the signature of James Madison from Leicester City since they look like they'll be headed down the table. He deserves a good as bigger club as Manchester City. Great game from City they're indeed the best side in the Champions League.

It obviously distracted their concentration in the injury time. With the performance Inter were showing in both legs against Porto, I don't think they will go any further. I wont be surprised if they lose to Juventus this weekend.

this undoubtedly must have been a game in which the RB Leipzig coach could not sleep well, it is not normal what happened in this game, it was very predictable that City would win in this game, but then they scored 7 goals and a simply shocking result , it looks like there were no RB Leipzig players on the field to defend, I can't understand what went wrong on the side of RB Leipzig to have been massacred like this. as for city this is an excellent result for them, with that they will be motivated for the next champions league game, who knows maybe this time city will become champion

this is a result that I particularly expected to happen, but as the odd was not good so I preferred not to bet on this game, porto has not been able to score many goals when playing against a team that manages to have a good defense, while inter they have managed to have a good defense when they try hard, but strangely in recent times inter has been bad in attack even with good players, I can't understand what is happening with inter who don't score many goals, they have become very inconsistent, but they have had the lucky to move on to another stage, I doubt they will have the same luck in another stage

Haaland getting back into form with five goals and just destroyed Leizpig in this rematch. I dont know what happened to Leipzig today they werent at the level they always are. This will have a huge effect on them in the bundesliga its not easy to overcome a 7-0 loss. City showing power again and showing they are serious to win the title.

Liverpool will be hoping to score these this kind of goals and get this kind of score line against Real Madrid. It feels like an almost impossible task.

Big kudos to Inter Milan for perfecting their defense line tonight though I must say that they rode on the back of luck tonight. Porto did hit the woodwork twice when I joined to watch the last minutes of the match of which if they had scored those goals, the out come of the match would've been very different.

Porto will be very disappointed for not just winning the match but also for not being able to score a goal in their own home turf. Though they won but I think Inter Milan must improve their performance if they want to go far in the Champions League this season.

Intermilan has been qualified for the last 8 as we all manchester city by winning with very big scores against leipzig. It must be a very easy prediction. Inter were lucky to not receive a late goal and undergone extra time. Porto being unlucky during the game and mainly at the end, the post and the bar saved Inter this time but the result remains poor for them..

Intermilan vs porto looks a very boring match for me, unlike city against leipzig. The strategy being used by manchester city not to use the main squads once the team was playing away was already predicted by guardiola. Guardiola was saving all of the powers to play at home which was giving a big result like that.

Is it really that important to have that record alone, that is not important anyway. If i would have to guess, then i would say that Haaland is probably pretty happy already today because he scored 5 goals and of course mainly because Manchester City was able to advance into the quarterfinals of the Champions League. Obviously in the end it was a total domination from Manchester City and a result of 7-0 is absolutely historical but i also have to say, that the first goal of ManCity today still feels pretty weird to me. Even in the replay it was barely visible, that the player of Leipzig touched the ball with his hand. So the VAR should have not interfered here. Maybe the match would have taken a completely different turn then, but i doubt that.
