Turkey has Super Lig and Italy has Serie A, while Austria league isn't that popular, however many of Austrian players are playing in Germany Bundesliga, so don't underestimate them.

Denmark can certainly put up quite a tough fight against Germany. Because if you look at Denmark's matches in the group phase, you could say their performance was very good and stable.

When I look at Denmark's games in the group, I don't see anything "very good and stable" honestly.    They got 3 draws and still qualified for last 16.

Slovenia played really good against them. Serbia weren't that good but Denmark still couldn't beat them. I'm okay with a draw against England though. However this performance in general doesn't look very promising to progress further. You know how solid Germany have started. I can say they are one of the best teams in Euro 2024 so far. Now the real qualifiers will begin and I think Germany's players will see it as an area to showcase their strengths and show off all their skills. Denmark's job is not easy.

It was such a crazy match that Turkey's meeting against the Czechs had to end in chaos between the players which made the referee have to issue so many cards. I know the Czechs' desire is to beat Turkey to secure the best third place after only collecting one point from the previous two matches. But I think Turkey won't let that happen and therefore they have to win convincingly if they want to qualify for the knockout rounds without any problems.

Towards the final minute, Turkey dashed Czech hopes through Cenk Tosun's goal and that was also a sign that the Czechs didn't have another chance. However, I thought it would all end well, but what happened was that all the players were involved in problems and the ones who suffered the most were of course several Turkish players who had to get yellow cards. The reason is that if they get another yellow card in the next match, of course some of their players will have to be absent and that will reduce their strength.

This match was absolutely crazy and the referee had to exercise a lot in this match.12 Turkish players got yellow cards in this match which is not normal at all. Everyone from forwards to defenders committed fouls and each received a yellow card for a foul. Not only the original XI players but all the players outside the original XI who came on the field as extras but also left the field with yellow cards as a gift. Turkey received a yellow card, but the opposite team did not sit still, they were one step ahead of the Turks. A total of eight Czech players received yellow cards, including one player who received two yellow cards and later left the field with a red card, while another player received a straight red card. In other words, in this match people watched less football but more physical fight between two teams.

Group E surprised us, Romania managed to finish in first place beating Belgium which on paper could be much better. Maybe facing the Netherlands is not easy, it's just that in terms of opportunities, Romania still has the strength to put up a fierce fight, the round of 16 is definitely a strong reason for Romania to play at full strength.

The Quarter Final has arrived but my focus is on England's match against Slovakia where if England still maintain their game as before then it is not impossible that they will be eliminated in this round. Southgate is really bad as a coach and with his golden generation squad, England is still having trouble winning matches.

Slovakia finished as the third best team and at least they were able to compete with the good teams in Group E, all of whose teams collected the same 4 points. I'm pretty sure they will surprise England and conversely if the pressure continues on England they will be more easily scrambled. If you have watched Turkey so far they haven't been performing consistently. Even in the matches they won we were feeling it. They lack in defense area a lot and Austria are a very challenging team at the moment, one of the bests of the competition.    I hope we can defeat Austria somehow but I have high doubts also.

Italy are really in bad shape. They aren't playing like they won Euro 2020. They were able to do nothing against Spain and I can't talk positive about the Croatia match either. Switzerland look better now.

This is because Belgium aren't the same anymore. They had a horrible group stage. Georgia defeated Portugal thanks to Portugal's not caring about the match much after securing the 1st place. They had a rotation in their lineup.

Germany is the team that can get the second highest points after Spain at the end of this group stage standings. They are also the most productive country in scoring goals, they scored a total of 8 goals in this group stage, and they conceded 2 goals. In fact, previously we knew that Germany was a country that was considered to have failed a bit in regenerating after their heyday. However, their current coach has decided to call up the senior players again and I think that is a good decision and it has had a positive impact.

Denmark have never won at all, but they have also never lost and have achieved a draw in all the matches they have played and what is unique is that they managed to escape by achieving the same points and goal productivity as Slovenia. Yes, in group C they succeeded in placing 3 representatives in the knockout round because in this group they managed to become the 3rd best.

As I mentioned before in my previous posts, even before the Euro starts, I said we are going to witness many surprises, many teams now are playing better than the usual dominant teams. Taking your examples of what happened in groups stage, everything now is possible to happen. However, I would expect another performance and level appear from the known teams and highly anticipated advancing to the next stages.

For the next play offs, here are my predictions:
Italy winning against Switzerland; (2-1)
Germany winning against Denmark; (2-0)
England winning against Slovakia; (3-0)
Spain winning against Georgia; (1-0)
France winning against Belgium; (2-1)
Portugal winning against Slovenia; (2-0)

At this stage I wouldn’t risk that much on betting, as long as we are not seeing the same performance from all teams here, it is tricky to predict the future outcomes, probably it is better to bet on number of goals or winners after extra time and penalties.

I do not understand how the Euro is actually going and where it is going to end. I must surely say that my expectations were not met during the group stages. The countries that I expected will have express qualification have to struggle to qualify. The few under dogs made it even easier to qualify from the group matches. This has actually made me lose confidence on the next steps. I do not believe country like England to make it past this quarter finals and I also do not believe country like France to make it, but in the real sense these are the countries with the best squads.
I will really need to watch the quarter final stages before I will know what to predict about these matches. The only two countries that I know have been exceptional is Germany and Spain, although countries like Portugal showed high inclination but the defeat they recorded was not expected.

I can't agree with you, despite having strong squads we are not seeing good performances from these teams. England, France and Italy all have very strong squads. And most of the players in these teams play in all the renowned clubs in Europe. This is why fans naturally have high expectations from these teams. But these parties have failed to fulfill this expectation.

However, the teams will definitely try to perform better in the knockout round. These parties have the potential to do well. If the coach's match strategy is good then we will see better performance from England, France and Italy players in future.

This your prediction for the quarter-final looks good on the surface, but we all know that football is way deeper than this, you saw the results and how surprising some of the results went, so how sure are you that Belgium will lose against France, how also are you sure that Portugal will win Slovenia giving the fact that they lost against Georgia. Now I don't want to be controversial, but this is the result of having made a mess of the youth springs. Unfortunately it can't be fixed in the short term.

Sorry, I actually thought the odds between Turkey and Italy were 50:50, but I admit that Austria is a very strong team and can even be a team that goes further. On the other hand, Georgia and Slovakia, for me, also think the chances remain the same, considering that England, no matter how ideal the squad composition is, but with the quality of coach Southgate, the England team could fall in the round of 16.
