Not just Messi, but Argentina as a whole didn't do much throughout the entire game. Argentina's goal seemed to come out of nowhere. However, Brazil can only blame themselves. This is their first-ever home FIFA World Cup qualifier. Brazil didn't look like scoring much; instead, they busy making fouls. The game wasn't flowing smoothly, with too many whistles. and there's no excuse just because they have key players injured Brazil couldn't break through Argentina. Lo Celso, De Paul, Enzo, and Mac Allister deserve credit for this game, and the defense acted like a strong wall. In my opinion, this Brazil isn't as mighty as it used to be. Their performance and quality have significantly dropped. After all the trouble, it's evident that the Brazilians have lost touch with the old days of good football.

In the Brazil-Argentina match, the game was less fouled and more fouled. Players were busy tagging illegally instead of tagging legitimately. Not only the Brazilian players committed fouls but also the Argentinian players. The foul for which the red card was awarded was not red card worthy as we later found out on review. It is difficult for any team to perform on the field after a situation where Argentine supporters argued with security personnel and at one point it escalated to baton charges. The match between Brazil and Argentina is considered as a Super Clasico match, but I have not seen anything like a Super Clasico in the Brazil-Argentina match, but there have been more fights.

Brazil didn't have many players in the starting XI, you can't look at it as an excuse, it's a reality and you have to accept it.

But we would like to forget this kind of incident soon and hope that such unpleasant incidents do not happen in the future.

If they won that game, they would have been ahead of Argentina in the group, both with 9 points, but Brazil with more goals. The next games are 9 months away, with the European Championship in Germany in between, which I think is the best thing for Brazil not to play at the moment.

They were leading with a margin of 1-0 till the 85th minute, before Eduard Bello made it 1-1 to give Venezuela a precious point against Brazil. Horrorfest followed, with loses against Uruguay (0-2), Colombia (1-2) and Argentina (0-1).  

I was also just seeing how the standings are for South America at World Cup qualifiers and it is truly horrendous to see Brazil in 7th place with very less chances to make it to this World Cup,I don't know how it would look a World Cup without Brazil,I guess this is the first one or we have a very very long time that we don't witness such thing.

I wish Brazil recovers but seeing their way of play in most of these games so far this looks more like wishful thinking rather than them having a real chance to make it back to this tournament.

Because Neymar controls all the players with his experience but in this current situation it is never possible to survive with a unique team. Seeing Indonesia only draw with the Philippines in the second match of Group F is certainly not a pleasant thing and this result makes Indonesia's chances of qualifying even smaller because it has not succeeded in improving its ranking in that group, which is still at the bottom.
In fact, there are still four matches and anything could still happen, but seeing as they could only draw against the Philippines, the next match will be against Vietnam and Iraq, which will be a more difficult match.
The Indonesian coach must be able to find a way to bring his squad to perform better because even though it failed to qualify, there is another tournament that is no less important that must be played, namely the Asian Cup.

 We can't predict their performance in the remaining games ahead because the teams they'd be encountering won't make it so easy for them, they're really going to be in huge struggle for the qualification spot and they may not stand a chance against those teams, but it shouldn't cause them to relent, they can still put in efforts to build back the team to be stronger and better.

 A whole lot is lacking in the team and more work needs to be put, efforts should be made, correct where the errors are, cover up the loopholes, the coach and his team has a task ahead of them to at least help the team stand out even if they're not able to qualify for the world cup, they just have to create a very good competitive aura for themselves.

Well, if we assume that Brazil cannot beat Chile and Bolivia, then they probably do not deserve a place in the final part of the World Cup and there is no tragedy here. There are 12 games ahead, which is 5 games more than in the Champions League playoffs. And as we know, the Champions League is always won by the same clubs, although the distance is shorter and we can assume that the dispersion will be greater.

The last few years Brazil has shown a decline, but if we look into the composition of the actual players they are inhabited by many very qualified players, but when they play for Brazil it seems they lose their identity and do not play optimally. I feel like that's the trouble with the world cup, we are only getting to see a few nations and that's why I support growing the number of teams that will join, yes mostly it will be other European countries that get the benefit and I am fine with that too, but American or Asian countries that will be a bit different could be fun. Ok but this is where I don't know enough about the national teams in South America. I know that Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay are really strong, but I also thought that most of the other teams are at least not weak. Maybe if I can give an example, would you say that the game Brazil against Chile is about the same as Manchester City against Young Boys Bern? This is just to get an idea where to rank those teams in terms of strength. But I have been of the opinion that there is a certain baseline strength in South American teams that should never be underestimated and that those teams are occasionally able to take away points from the favorites. But this "occasional" could turn into a problem for Brazil now.

The performance of Brazil was really disappointing and they are not at the level they should normally be. Brazil is known as the first team in the world and they have had many World Cup achievements but with this performance, we saw from them against Argentina they can't have any chance.
I think Brazil should stop thinking about Neymar and they need a new coach to do some reworks in this team.

The Brazil national team has performed below the expectations of many football fans across the globe but more especially  less of the expectations of Brazilians. The Brazil national team comprises of the players of the big clubs in Europe but one thing that's been lacking with the team is their failure to replicate their performances for their respective clubs whenever they're playing for the national team.
Several reports in the media suggests that the current Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti is gonna take over the coaching of the team next summer and hopefully he's gonna help Brazil get back to winning ways once again

Yeah, I mean, Brazil is a powerhouse, they will always perform pretty well. Of course sometimes they lose at some game like against Croatia, in the same way the Argentina lost to Saudi Arabia only to then continue to win the whole thing.

Every player in Brazil is highly skilled. It's always a big name but of course they cannot always be at their maximum. They have won the most world cups in the world, and they have qualified to every single one. No other country on earth comes close to that.

If they manage to improve their performance, then good for them. Else we will witness the rare occasion where Brazil fails to qualify for the world cup. BTW, injury should not be taken as an excuse. Brazil is not the only team that has been impacted by injury issues. The fact that they don't have sufficient backup for their main players exposes their lack of depth in player pool. Brazil's performance during Qatar 2022 was horrendous. And looking at their performance so far in the CONMEBOL qualifiers, I don't have much hope for the FIFA World Cup of 2026 either.
