Pep is a  MF. I was on my knees hoping he would take out Halaand and KDB to give Leipzig a break, and I literally switched to the Porto-Inter Milan game when Leipzig took control of the midfield and was on a safeguard to avoid another goal, not knowing that KDB had another plan.

The Porto game was too intense; they had only two shots on goal until about 87 minutes, and it didn't get any better in extra time as the ball kept hitting the crossbar, but I'm glad I got what I wanted. see you tomorrow at Santiago

It is very clear if you know where to look. IMHO by far the best and only page I ever use for tennis is tennisexplorer. It has all the data about all tournaments, even ITF, and head 2 head for all players. Give it a try, it is in my 5 most used pages that is saying a lot.

The same goes for me. It's still early where I'm living and I went to check out yesterday's results. I was so happy to see that Halaand scored so many goals (the man is a beast) that I didn't see the last goal by De Bruyne. He really didn't have to score that goal... It was part that and part luck that every rebound in Leipzig box dropped nicely for Haaland. Not taking anything away from him but yesterday performance was equal parts luck and skill. You still have to find yourself there and put those goals away but chances like thay aren't that usual for strikers.

That being said City destroyed Leipzig and half of those Haaland goals should have been goals from the guys taking initial shots. A lot of memes with Guardiol and Haaland today, our young defender finds himself for the first time on other side of media attention. Curious to see how he will react.

Yep, agreed. But Leipzig gave them all the time in the world to put the balls inside the 16 yard box in the first place.
I said at half time that this was the luckiest hattrick ever - and then he scored 2 more goals like that in the 2nd half as well.

Other game was way better - and Porto almost got the goal they needed for the ET late on - they struck both the post and the crossbar in the dying minutes. Inter was really lucky to go through.

I would say it was only right that both of the questions turned out the way they did because Porto looked like they were surely going to have the Over 4.5 shots on target with some ease, their first shot on goal came in around as early as under the 3rd minute into the game, and then there was another decent attempted before the 19th minute mark, so I felt so sure that was a wrap already with 80 minutes to still play for.

For the Man City question, I contemplated between going for to different goal scorers, but It was just tricky, I would have gone for 2 different goals scorers if the options to choose from were 1 goal scorer, 2 goal scorers, 3 goals, and 4 different goal scorers, but the 3 or more feels more like a the safest option that gives a better edge, than pick, 0, 1 or 2 alone.

I got both questions so far correctly, but that doesn't give me any edge of mu opponent, as a matter of fact we only have 2 questions with different choices from the entire 10 questions, and the questions is involving Real Madrid vs Liverpool, and then, the El Classico over the weekend.

What does it matter which individual zones are anybody from? Deadline is 2 hours before the game, 6 PM GMT. I will just double check what time zone our table uses. I know exactly when I posted the answers and I will use that as a reference. Very simple to check, just have to get home to do it. I can also ask a couple of others to verify if needed.

Man why you overcomplicated this?

Keep it easy, i dont give so much relevance to the UTC GMT bla bla time zone, if they said it were two hours before the first match of the UCL its two hours before UCL no matter your time zone its the same, for me it was like 3 PM (im -3).

Only look at what hour in your zone starts the game that mark the deadline and make your predictions at least two hours before.

Asides of that dont procastinated so much.

@Renato297 The instructions are really easy and correct. 6pm GMT was 2 hours before the first matches kicked off at 8pm GMT. And it's so easy because forum time is GMT time. Imagine how tough it is for players in Asia or some parts of Americas to keep track of time. GMT is universal...

I ran the risk of submitting late -- and if it would have not counted, I would have been okay to take the penalty. There is a thing about ref decisions being final. Whether players think it's fair or not has never really affected that =)

P.S. The user you're referencing could be me. I made my post here, when I was free from work -- but I submitted my answers an hour some time before I posted.

Yeah, it's when you watch these games that you realise shots on target aren't really a good statistic on their own. Onana wasn't tested once the whole game, those late shots were all weak, tame, desperate. Still, good stuff and it makes me watch a game to the end, which would probably not happen often on Porto-Inter haha.

I believe you are correct about the deadline and I have colored your answers green. Spreadsheet is mainly my colleague work and he is currently on a trip and unavailable so there is still possibility this could change if I missed something. I don't believe I have but I have to talk it out with him as well


This just shows we are not immune to errors despite our best efforts so please let us know if something looks strange. We will implement "complaint protocol" in couple of days when cryptofrka gets back. Something on the line you can complain for each round until deadline for next round starts. That gives you at least one full day and usually two to bring something to our attention. Afterwards rounds are locked and no more changes are possible.
