They maybe want to reduce the chance factor and to avoid a victory from a contestant just because he had a little bit more luck than his opponent, I guess. BTW when the spreadsheet with the answers of the other contestants (and especially my opponent) will open? It opens just after the deadline or once all the games are over?

They aren't tiebreaker, they are penalties in case of a draw - seems more fun that way.

Considering that these players did not submit answers, their opponents answers are hidden. This affects MAAManda, Jinetics1111 and Pulsar77.
If I calculated correctly, DireWolfM14 is at place 24, which plays against 28 in the next round - and 28 should be MAAManda vs Coin_trader.

You are free in R1 but you will have a match in R2 same as all Div 1 & Div 2 players. That means you still have deadline tomorrow, but you have a free pass on first 5 questions. You must answer the rest before the deadline.

I sent all my questions but I am sure that I was not the only one who thought there is a break for some players.
Positive feedback is that Cup question answering was not that hard like it happens in BSFL sometimes.

Pretty much some of us got it confused right there. Especially on the part where it says that division 1 and division 2 players are free on this first cup round, so thats probably the part where most of us got it wrong because 2nd round is in the same week and we need to send our answers with the same deadline as the first round

and yeah I also answered all questions on the form just to make sure everything is okay on my part

Hahah, looks a bit complicated at the beginning but it really isn't that hard to understand.

Here are the questions. Maybe cup wasn't ideal for you to start, it's a bit different format than the usual.
We felt it would be a good time to join because you'd actually play for some rewards while you wait.

For now maybe just fill out the form and get a feel for the competition. If you like it, you're already registered for next season. If you don't like it - just tell us in a month or so.

Tbh it looked complicated to me as well (I also joined late) when I just skimmed over that text in the first post, but then I actually took like 10 minutes to read the rules and it turned out to be pretty simple and straightforward. I am sure that you will be fine if you just give it another try.

The match should be a new derby name; el-shitico because it's being played between 2 shitty teams, but I still think this should be perhaps not so easy game for Liverpool, but only anyone with a cause to make some donations to bookies should go for Chelsea.

I predict 0-0 for betting, but different for BSFL. Chelsea is making PSG look good. Stars and expensive players playing like schoolchildren! Liverpool is making Spurs look good

As for the complicating part... It's not that complicated when you start answering the questions each week. You just do a bit of research, give the answers and hope you'll be better than your opponent.

This. All the rules there are just to make competition as fair as possible. If you trust our decison making all you have to do is provide 10 answers each Monday. Everything that looks complex is there for those who want to know how something works behind the sceeen.

Sometimes it is just the slight differences in choices because too often when you take the lead in the beginning, it looks tough to turn it around as so many answers are equal. But this is no point if criticism, it rather shows that people do some research before they make their choices or they know sports world quite well anyway.

I should have stuck to my betting prediction. 0-0 is almost like automatic for these teams, regardless if they are as good as they were last season or as shitico as theycurrently are. 3 scoreless games and full of wild playing it appears, I sort of feel sorry for both teams, 30 points away from Arsenal!

Meh, the last thing I did before submiting my responses was to change it from draw to Juventus. My gut feeling was saying "draw" and I answered accordingly but then I decided to take another look at their form and changed the answer. Lesson learned, sometimes you just have to trust your gut.
