Oh and yes, I do watch women's UCL actually, probably fewer than 5 matches in my lifetime. Mentioned in posts other places but their technical ability (esp at this club level) can be quite many levels above the average. I still think keeper is the area that needs most improvement, as is off-the-ball action, but overall, they're not bad to watch at all.

I have been watching their Euro and World cup and I must say that there are some really good players. What bothers me most is when you see perfect trough ball and then nobody manages to get on top of it. By perfect I mean measured by men's standard. In other words my eyes are betraying me since they are used to another level athleticism and that is what they miss most.

That's what I meant by off-the-ball. It's nowhere near men's football but I think it's getting there. They can cross, pass, shoot really really well, and naturally, that's what you get first improved.

Strikers and midfield would fit in perfect on mixed 5v5 too, but their keepers are still the lowest ability, in my view of watching a handful of games. Athleticism, as you point out, is probably the thing. No super bendy Buffon full stretch like pouncing cats, no Zlatan karate swings, etc. That will all improve with time, women's football has only really had a couple of decades of proper development (Arsenal in England leads the way, Liverpool is very stupidly ignoring it mostly).

IIRC Sportsbet even had deals with Estonia and Arsenal to train up their women over there.

Edit: You know what women's football doesn't have? Play-acting! Not as I've seen anyway. It's the one thing about men's football that pisses me off.

The only con is that the quality isn't extremely the best but if you're making use of a laptop or mobile, then you're very good to go.

It's surprise for me that USA lost and Japan were favorites. I looked at USA roster and all their players is from MLB, it's not some random youngsters from NCAA. But as I understand, they're far from being main stars of MLB.

It's on Youtube DAZN Women's CL channel with English commentary. I also follow EURO and World Cup and I can say that women's football is watchable thing. Not like Women's basketball for example. They have done very big steps forward not just in quality of play, but also in popularity. From playing in training grounds to main stadiums like Camp Nou or Stamfird Bridge full of fans.

Carefuly what you wish for I feel like it's a wave of that happening in N America but not quite yet the rest of the world. I played mix team futsal a bit in my day and it is refreshingly low on drama and simulation (which you get with guys for some reason).

In my leg doesnt change anything because me and my oponent selected the same, but keep an eye on that.

I agree with you, I went with England due to the caliber of players they have, except England take a very early lead that gives Italy the liberty to apply their own form of pressure and attack, I don't still see Italy as a team that'd be able to string 5-7 uninterrupted passes together, and that lives me with just the 30 passes more, Italy plays a more direct game, and doesn't even need more passes than their opponent to win a match. so in my best interest my opponent and I both went for England to win, but I wouldn't mind Italy winning because I'm sure that'd increase my chances of England dominating possession and having more passes.

It would be great to avoid these mistakes in the future by providing questions for the competition in the required format, so I suggest if it is possible to provide backup questions that will be counted in case there is an invalid game. What do you think?

The English team beats the Italian team with two clean goals. My choice was Italy to win. Frankly, the Italian team needs encouragement to return to their usual form.
If i manage to win against my opponent, it will be a miracle because I did not give my answers as I should have.
