As Trofo said, we changed some rules slightly. You can see the overview of the changes in the 1st post - just scroll to the end.

It's finally started! Glad I could participate. By the way, when is the deadline for answer submission? Is it 7pm forum time? I have submitted my answer for this week but would like to confirm it for future reference.

It will depend from week to week, basically it will be an hour or two before the first game starts. We will announce it every time - good idea and I'll add the deadline in the post with questions.
We will always use forum time, it is GMT.

Because when we look at the image of round 1, we get the idea that the deadline would be today at 7 pm.

That was my bad, application I used seems to like moving the dates on its own. Doesn't like to have all the divisions on same date. Will try to force it manually when I get home.

We will always give you more than 24 hours to enter answers, that way we are sure all time zones have an opportunity to do it at their preferred time.

Will you give us the table with our answers like you did in the World Cup competition? I don't know about others but I never remember my answers and then I have problem following the success rate during the week The answers shouldn't be available for us to look at before the week's deadline, of course.

Yep, we'll try to open the spreadsheet shortly after the cutoff time.
Considering that the 2 of us are playing as well, we need to be fully transparent with our answers.

Yeah it asks for google sign up, we are not collecting those email addresses but we are using that as sort of authentication so you can't enter twice with different results. Yes we can remove later entry manually but that is extra work and another place where mistakes can happen.

Am in division 3 and we have teams like Manchester City and Arsenal competing against small teams like Oldham Athletic , Wimbledon etc...lol honestly this is the champions league stuff from the set go lol. Whatever the case game on!

I think im not so good in this kind of tournament so lets see if i can reach the first division in this first season.

I dont see yet the questions of this rounds but i think can be a really tricky ones.

Don't be, a lot of great users did not make the cut for Div 1. You all can see the names and I can tell you it was very though selection.

Maybe Slissy isn't a known quantity to most of you but he is one of the first customers Sporsbet had and he stayed with them all these years. Right kind of loyalty that deserves to be recognised.

Hello guys, lol it would be great to follow this event I just sent my answers, I have a competitor whose face is familiar to me hopefully we will come out with a draw score in the opening match of the tournament. But how to qualify from the second division to the professional league?

Hey guys, our first sign up window has officially passed so we have distributed all valid applicants among the 3 divisions. Now first division is the place to be and it has just 12 spots this season, we couldn't possibly fit all deserving members inside so don't be mad if you ended up in second or third division. This is just season one and season two will be bigger, that means a lot of promotion spots will be available.

We had to change the rules and league sizes a bit to better accommodate the number of participants we had. Third division still has 1 extra spots for taking if we get a new face soon. Also since some of you said it would be nice too see the two of us playing we drafted ourselves to the third league even though we would probably merit a spot in first division. This way we did not take a spot from anybody. First round fixtures for 3rd league will be drawn closer to deadline to see if we will have full complement of players.

I have to face another strong opponent for opening round, but I look forward to the competition and this is pretty much more fun in the league format, I'm glad you and Cryptofrka can finally play, because it's quite unfair to miss out from such fun while hosting it, and it made a lot of sense that at least for the sake of fairness, you'll both start from the lowest division and have to find your way into the first division.


I'm glad to not have missed the post about the first round of questions, but having this thread on notification will be quite messy for my notification bar, I'm sure I'll be checking in everyday but getting notified for every post is a bit too much for me and one can easily miss the specific needed post about a new round, So, can I suggest that since the sign up period is already over, you can make use of the sign up thread to post the message for each new round here → https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5438072 and lock it afterwards, it's easier to get notification from one thread than going back page a couple of pages to on another find one specific post.

That is not entirely true, we are still accepting sign ups and we will accept them indefinitely. We need one more player asap to fill last spot in 3rd league and after that we will leave thread open for next season. If we get more participants in the middle of season we will also let them play some mini tournaments for smaller rewards. That way they will be ready from start next season.

it is always good not to have "relegation fear" pressure, but will be a tough competition in Division 2 as well, just looking at names, as Europa league this season, having probably best European team at the moment playing there, not Champion league

It really sucks I didn't make it in first division but I already knew boss Trofo doesn't like me for some reason, but maybe there is small chance if someone doesn't pay entry fee  
One thing I don't understand is how can Trofo and cryptofrka be in third division when he said they could not participate in this competition?

You are not using telegram notifier bot from tryninja then? It is the best way to keep track of stuff and reason why I tagged all of you in the post. We plan to do that going forward for each round. In case that is not enough, format will be that questions get released on Monday each week. There could be some minor changes but I believe we will manage to keep to that schedule unless some really big competition makes us change it. And you don't have to scroll trough the posts, you just need to check 2nd and 3rd post on first page which get updated with important info.

I'm using the telegram notifier bot by Tryninja too, and I already have the notification on for the thread, but I get notified of every post here, even if I'm not mentioned, but if all players will get mentioned for each mew round post then that's very perfect for me, I thought mentioning every player for each new round might be extra stress for the poster, hence my suggestion, but I'm pretty much okay with any way it goes.
