Amount paid (eq. in BTC): 0.00466431 BTC Hourly post-payments: 3.141931 DOGETotal you will receive in 6 hours: 18.85158625 DOGE.

WTF is this suppose to mean? (I got that in an email when customer hired my rig)
0.00466431 / 0.00000054 = 8,637.61 DOGE is what I should be getting for 6 hours.

/Edit: now lease got canceled. Why?

We assumed you didn't really want to only get paid 18 doge for the lease?

I have the same issue with a lease. My Keta rig was leased for 0.0275 BTC for 24 hour but I am only getting ~800 Dogecoin. Anyway to get the lease canceled?

Weird.  The mass cancel should have taken care of that.

I've cancelled it.

No worries. thanks for taking care of it!

So today I needed to communicate with a customer about a lease. I sent an email to the address provided and something interesting happened. A support ticket was created at another mining rig rental site!

It looks like someone is using the support email from another rental site to lease rigs on leaserig. Has anyone else noticed support@mgrighashing.com leasing their rigs?

Just struck me as odd

I noticed when I added them.

There is no issue with their model or there use of a help desk. They are doing something similar to scryptery.cc and some other sites.

Anyone else having trouble with X11 mining on coinking.io the past few hours? I awoke to see a Stats graph that looked like a seismic graph of increasing earthquake activity. Looked at the miner and saw a bunch of weird reject messages I'd never seen before (some sort of truncrated "DB" (database) error?). The lack of accepts was triggering restarts on my miner.

Switched off coinking to wafflepool and all was well. Waited an hour, switched back and at first things were OK on Coinking, then the same errors came back. So I switched off it again as I was heading to work. I see nothing in the news at Coinking itself.

CoinKing upgraded all of their backend code.  The upgrade hit a snag but now it's all fixed now.

Why are you yelling?

Download the wallet client.
Let the blockchain sync
Enable server/daemon/whatever
Ensure you have an rpcuser and password set
Open the port in your firewall
get your public ip from www.icanhazip.com
Point a leased miner to the IP:PORT User Pass you have setup.
Profit?

Will there be any updates to the ratings/feedback system? I liked the old reputation thread approach since everyone could see both sides of an issue and make up their own mind. The new star-rating system only shows people the complaints without giving the rig owner's response (as I understand it, only the renter who made the feedback sees that response), which isn't very fair when someone flips out and overreacts and gives inaccurate feedback.

I've always done my best to accommodate/compensate for any real issues that renters have had, so it's pretty discouraging.

I have had someone rent most of my rigs for about a week now. Their pool is always going up and down and most always under hashing. What ever the customer is mining must be worth it as he keeps renewing the rigs.

What happens when I'm forced to upgrade on July 4th? Will the lease get cancelled and refunded every time it shows rig down? That would suck because the rig is fine, it's the pool. The customer knows this and is happy the way it is.

I'm picturing loosing a bunch of rental time and the customer getting frustrated by having to start the lease all over again. Maybe next time he'll choose someone else's rig...

The solution is very simple. Simply add a backup pool.

He has a backup pool that is just as fickle and apparently he's ok with that.

The problem would be somewhat solved if the renters stopped removing the free coinwhatsists pool that gets autoset on lease start.
