Yes, it helps, it's clearer now. As the owner, I didn't see any "edit" option to submit updates if they arise. Are you planning to add one? They could also allow the service owner to send short informational messages about the service. Something simple, with some character limits and even time constraints between messages. Just a suggestion.

Hey joker_josue. I use a lot the copy paste method to upload images into talkimg
But I just cant make it work in mobile. I have to manually save the image in my device.
Is there anyway to copy and paste an image url, or from the mobile clipboard? Maybe add an input where we could paste the image?

Something is planned to help with this process on mobile. That will great, Sometimes it's kind of annoying to have to manually select screenshots taken from your mobile phone to upload them. Anyway, here I have one more small request. I don't know if someone has already suggested it, but the thing is that I mostly upload images and use width attributes to give them the correct size, and I believe that there are many others like me. But after uploading images in TalkImage, there are only height attributes in Embed codes to make the image size smaller or larger. If it is not a complex task, can the width option be implemented here? The request is not such that it has to be fulfilled now, but when you are free, I think implementing width options here will give the options in a complete form.

Me! I second this not urgent request. it would be a nice addition. Today I had a small problem, while trying to upload an apparently harmless image, I encountered an error: IMG_6477.png - Request denied [Code: 401] Image is on a supported format and roughly 68Kb in size. I tried to upload on various other hosting website and I had a similar error. I suspect all use the same engine, tough. I as finally able to upload it simply moving around in my local computer. In your logs maybe you have some hint?

Didn't you happen to have the browser/site open for some time without activity? This type of error usually arises when there is a communication error between the PC and the server. Strange is that it happened on other sites as well. I'll see if I can find anything.

The first problem happened early this morning around 2:30 UTC when my tool used to craft the Italian board overview tried to upload this image: it was the only one in the report that failed. When I tried to do it manually it failed again. I tried on other sites and failed again. I tried to snapshot it, move to other locations and finally it worked. Not sure what I changed. Of if I changed anything. I can try again later, or provide you with the original file, if you suggest me how to do it.

It happened again. I tried to upload an image from my image library on a macOS, and I got a 401 error. When I tried to upload a screenshot of that image (then saved on my desktop) all went smoothly. Apparently, both images were jpg, tough.

Did you drag the image into the browser/website page, or did you click the image upload button and select it? Based on some reports, I've noticed that this type of error is more frequent on macOS. I need to try to understand why.

I didn't try to see if I was getting the same error on other websites similar to talkimg this time.

I tired to reload again and failed again. After I exported the image and saved as jpg on the desktop I tried again and it worked.

This was an image from my Mac photo library
This only happens if the image is in your Mac photo library? Was the image in the library a JPG or another format? Do some images show up and others don't? If so, can you tell the difference between them? From what I understand, something similar has already happened on other platforms, right? Did you perform any kind of conversion when you placed the image on the desktop? Does your photo library work in cloud mode? If so, was the photo saved to that library from another device? Sorry for the questions, I was just reviewing the server logs and I can't find any errors related to this type of situation.

Answering your questions in order Lately, yes As you see from the above image: PNG Lately, every time I try from this MacBook, I fail. I have just tried doing the same from my iPhone and worked flawlessly. I once tried to upload the same image on other imag hosting websites (imgbb.com) , and had a similar error. I export from the library saving it as jpeg on the desktop, with standard settings. Yes and yes. This was not always the case though. Starting to think it is something with that particular device.

Based on the responses, my main suspicion at the moment is that there's some kind of incompatibility between the MacBook, the Photos Library (synced with iCloud), and how the browser sends some images directly to websites. To better understand the source of the problem, could you tell me: Which browser are you using (Safari, Chrome, Firefox...)? If you try another browser on the same MacBook, does the problem persist? Does this only happen with PNG files? If you move the PNG to the desktop, does this also happen? I'll continue analyzing the situation to see if there's any way to improve compatibility on my end.

Google says it's usually an authenticaion problem, and gives the generic "delete cookies" advice. Have you tried uploading from a private window? That should be enough to rule out of it's a browser data problem.

I’m not sure if this has been asked before, but is it possible to add a method for uploading via a link? I often come across image uploads by newcomers on the scams board that use hosting services with image proxy issues; consequently, higher members rarely help by quoting the images directly, as they have to download the image first before re-uploading it to a new host.
