Thanks for this great service, after the imgurl broke a service like this is a need, so, you come in the right time to save our life.

I see you add a donation addy on the site, and that's nice, for sure a lot of people will support a nice service like this, but why you don't put an ads section and rent it, for sure a lot of people would like to use your service to promote their sites. Even normal users would be happy to pay for some ads to get affiliates.

TalkImg is now requesting for my email address to sign before uploading an image. It wasn't like this the last time I used it. What could be the reason for this recent development?

Because of the changes that have occurred recently with the Imgur service, there has been a significant increase in TalkImg usage. As you can guess, I had anticipated a gradual increase in usage, not a sudden increase like it has been these past few days. This forced us to readjust plans and move forward with updates to the server earlier than expected.

You started TalkImg service in perfect time just when Imgur stopped working like before, so this was expected to happen for me, and I even asked you about this issue few days ago 
I uploaded one image today using TalkImg, wanted to upload three more and I was unable to do it, that is much less than 50 images per IP address.
This is not complain at all, just posting my feedback from today and luckily I can still use other alternatives (for now).

Unless you had privileged information, I wasn't expecting this radical change. The idea of the project was progressive growth, not expecting a 5x increase from one day to the next.  

I doubt that any service can withstand a 5x increase in less than 24 hours. I think I even managed to keep everything working minimally despite this.

I'm not complaining, I'm very happy about it.
But, I really had to upgrade the server now, when it was only planned to do so in a few months.

I have always used Greenshot for screenshots and the Imgur function contained in it, in the attachment I have the code for the Imgur Api, do you also have an Api address for your service, so I could change the API address for Greenshot and continue to use the Greenshot programme.

Changing the API credentials might not do the trick. TalkImg and Imgur are completely different platforms with their own unique APIs, and they aren't compatible with each other. While I don't have specific experience with the Greenshot application, I can say that their developers have likely designed the plugin to communicate specifically with Imgur's server, so it is unlikely that it will be compatible with TalkImg's API.

SITUATION STATUS:
I have the deadline to inform you that the maintenance and upgrade to the server are completed. The site is now fully operational again.

I would like to share some information about this whole process.

First of all, notice what happened once the Imgur issues arose:


On the 11th, it had only 354 images uploaded.
Day 12: 739
Day 13: 1216
Day 14: 4376
Being now with more than 5000 images uploaded.

This significant increase, in a short period of time, forced me to migrate to another server sooner than expected. The plan was for the migration to be gradual, over the next few months. But due to this situation, I had to do everything in less than 48 hours. At the same time, I had to do everything possible so that the site remains online and does not compromise the visualization of the images already uploaded in the forum.

This new server, located in Europe, will allow more bandwidth and more space for the free use of images.

As you can calculate, all this had an extra cost that was not planned for now. Although for now everything is assured, I will be very grateful for any contributions you can make. This project, without your support, will be more difficult to continue to grow. This community has always been very good at supporting projects, and I hope the same will happen with this one.

Another problem I have is when I upload multiple images and want to select only one link, it automatiucally selects all of them. At first i thougght its soemthign wrong with my mouse, but then I tried it with mousepad and its still the same. Due that, I am still forced to upload images one by one instead doing it in bulk.

The 2nd click should allow you to copy whatever you want. Or you may click and hold the left button and drag it to the end of the link which you want to copy. I don't see this as a problem. I was able to copy a single link. See the image below;

This is what is called sweet pain.  . I thought images on the forum will be unavailable during the server upgrade. You handled this situation amazingly. Thanks for your service joker_josue

Yeah I figured it out eventually how to copy one link but still its not very user friendly, at least not for me. Maybe I am just nitpicking, but these kind of things annoy me and I like to do the things the way I am used to with other web image hosting sites.

Only a few of them remain unsaved due to size limitations on talkimg.
But I was scared about the loss of the images from my thread, where I invested so much time.

Mhh I get errors about image size from time to time.
I was sure the size limit was 2.0 MB, but I was wrong apparently.
