Wow! That's a pretty high confidence for a team that just recently broke history by qualifying for this round in their first time. whatsoever Morocco is as a surprise to anyone watching this women world cup and I for one has been amazed by their excellent performance. Although it's quite clear that African teams have done pretty well this time looking at the likes of Nigeria and Morocco who has already qualifed for the next round.

Morocco made history in both Men's And women's World Cup whether in Qatar or in Australia and New Zealand. In Men's competition they were able to reach the semifinals. This time I don't know if their Women could pass France in the round of 16. Odds for Morocco are x16 vs 1.17 for france. Nigeria x12 and South Africa x10. That's quite a sad ending for the African team in this competition?

Yeah Africa has had a nice showing in this cup.  Women's is much more volatile in terms of who can win where men's is much more predictable.  Might throw a couple long shots out there and see if one of them goes through.  Always like a good underdog story I will be rooting for them regardless.

I agree with most of your predictions. Norway is in poor form, but at least on paper they are much stronger than Japan (and let's not forget the fact that Norway finished ahead of the hosts New Zealand). And then, the Sweden x USA, and France x Morocco matches would be very interesting to watch. I checked the odds in various online sources, and most of them are favoring Japan, for their match against Norway. At this point, it is still very difficult to predict which will be the two teams who will qualify for the final.

The Spain Women vs Switzerland Women team game has already started, and Spain scored 1 goal in a great attack. In the 6th minute of the game, Spain managed to score the goal, but if Switzerland cannot improve their game performance, it is not possible to equalize the game. Although Spain Women's team is more likely to win today, if Switzerland Women's team can attack well, the game will be tied. I'm already watching the game really Switzerland women's team did their great attacking to tie the game 1-1. Your first prediction goes according to choice, Spain managed to beat Switzerland with a big score and it was a very convincing Spanish performance. With the 5 goals they managed to score as well as other statistics in the first match of the knockout stage it shows that this was not a match of two equal teams, because Spain controlled the match from all sides.

Next, Japan vs Norway, there is no doubt that Japan is the favorite with a very convincing performance in the group phase, and they are also one of the favorites to be champions, I think even though there will be tough resistance from Norway but Japan will be able to win the match to advance to the next round.

I can't say anything about these predictions but I will keep track of them. Your first prediction has come true as Spain has beaten Switzerland by 4 goals. Final score 5-0. It was a one-sided but high-scoring game.  The next match between Japan and Norway will start shortly and we will see how it goes.

Didnt expect that Spain would just destroy the Swiss team like this. Expected a close result but Spain is just a level above the Swiss team. Japan should win,they leaded in the first half but Norway was able to score and tie it so far. Japan creating chances but cant score to take the lead so we should see them attacking even harder in the second half.

Spain and France really look good and on a lucky day, France can beat Spain too. Keep in mind that Spain has lost one match in the group stages while France had one draw too in their Group H.

In the 2nd match today between Japan and Norway, both teams scored a single goal and are at level 1-1 at the end of the first half. The lead was taken by Japan but right within 5 mins, the Norway scored an equalizer goal. Keep in mind that Japan is unbeaten in this tournament yet as they have played three matches in the group stages and won all of those three.

Spain women's players performed very well and the goal difference was wide. Aitana Bonmati gave her best performance today which scared the Swiss team. Aitana Bonmati once again proved the magic of her feet with two goals for the Switzerland women's team. Although Switzerland performed well in the beginning, it came to the end and performed worst in the middle of the game. And Switzerland's defenders were at least normal enough to not withstand the extra pressure as Spain attacked enough.

Their next opponent should be either Japan (which I see winning today's game) or Norway.

Japan Women's Team and Norway Women's Team are tied on goals so far. But the two teams are playing with great versatility. If I look at the previous results, Japan definitely performed the best. And today Japan is trying hard enough to win and the attack is very difficult, which is a threat to Norway. But till last time we have to wait for the result.

I thought that Norway would beat Japan, but they are losing. I believe it will be difficult for Norway to reverse this score against Japan.

Just like others, I'm also surprised by Spain's performance (especially against the Swiss game).

Relying on the ranking of these teams might not lead to good predictions. For me, I am expecting more surprises from this competition.

The match between Nigeria and England will be explosive. The Nigerian team has a good defense and they have players that can cause havoc on the English side. The English teams seem to be relying much on Lauren. If the Nigerian technical team can be able to handle Lauren James, they can come out with a good result. If she can be stopped from making runs and striking those thunderous shots, I think the other player can be easily handled. The South African and the Moroccan female team also have good potential to win their games.

Never doubted the Japanese to get the job done after their impressive games over Spain and Zambia, and I remember someone placing a 5000/1 bet on Japan to win the mens worldcup on sportsbet and unfortunately this didn't happen...suppose on the women's side it could happen especially  that most of the big names like Italy, Germany, Brazil etc have all been knocked out.

Japan's women's team made a remarkable attack today and secured a last minute 1-3 victory over Norway. Although it was confirmed today that the Japan women's team will advance to the quarter-finals, it is possible. The Norwegian women's team performed well in the early stages but were unable to match the Japanese women's onslaught later on, which led to them being eliminated before reaching the quarterfinals. The Japan women's team performed exceptionally well and they fought to reach their goals and succeeded. On the other hand, Spain and Switzerland scored 5 goals between them, Spain qualified for the quarter-finals, and Switzerland scored 1 goal, which prevented them from reaching the quarter-finals. Two teams confirmed for the quarter finals today Spain and Japan women's teams both played superbly against the opposition due to which they were selected for the quarter finals.

These two matches I was pretty confident I would get the result right without any major surprises. The next ones will be more difficult in my opinion

I trusted Japan to win because of their good run in the first round, winning all 3 matches, including against Spain 4-0. And Norway did not have a good campaign in the cup, the team was below the level of Japan.
If possible watch some matches because it is very cool to see women's soccer evolving

Though this edition of the FIFA Women's World Cup tournament has been full of surprising results and eliminations of supposed big teams, I've never doubted the strength and capacity of the Japanese team.
Norway showed resilience in the game and also made a statement with their performance that they didn't get to this stage of the competition by chance, Japan still had their way against their Norwegian counterparts. I'll be very surprised not see Japan in the final of the competition

Morocco did pretty well yesterday against Colombia and they got the 3pt they needed to qualify to the next round, this qualification made Morocco the first Arab county to qualify to the round of 16. It will make them stronger to face any team that come their way.
 With Nigeria, South Africa and now Morocco still keeping and giving Africans hope that something good can still be done, that alone is something to be motivated about, I just wish for this African countries to do well and get into the next round, it will be a thing of joy if these 3 countries are still in the tournament till the semis.

Morocco and France were two very promising teams but unfortunately these two teams played against each other in the round of 16 so one team will be eliminated from here.  The team that survives, France or Morocco, will likely do well. But yes, Morocco has a chance to do well, it is acceptable because the Moroccan team is very smart and the womens can play very well. so Morocco is a slightly more promising team than France in the women World cup

Yes, I was very surprised to see the performance of the Moroccan team in the 2022 FIFA World Cup like the Women's World Cup.  They have recently become popular in the game of football and they are constantly showing good performances.  So I think Morocco is very focused on playing football and they train themselves for a long time and constantly. So I think Morocco is going to be a famous country to play football in the future like Brazil and Argentina

The match between Morocco and Colombia is by far one of the best I have watched in this competition. First the Colombian fans were more than the Moroccans but fans don't play football, footballers do. To say that I am impressed with the Moroccan team is an understatement. Their male and female team have an unusual level of grit and perseverance. They usually start out as the underdogs. Funny enough, thanks to Germany, the Colombian team has been given a second chance in the competition. I hope they are able to make adequate use of it in their next match with Jamaica. Morocco vs France. Jamaica will win, it is difficult to predict who the winner would be between Morocco and France.

Spain played in an agressive manner and won the match. I don't remember the odds of the match, but it looked like Switzerland is the favourite to win the match. Spain had now confirmed its quarter finals. Japan the only Asian team is doing good and the win is a much expected one. Few teams are at the high chance of winning the Cup were England, France and now Spain have got added to the list. More six teams into the quarter finals. Lets wait and watch those upcoming matches, as miracles could happen in the knockout matches.
