So, now after almost month of competition we reached semifinals. And we starting with Sweden - Spain. I think it's pointless to look for favorite there. Both is high quality teams, what we already saw in previous rounds. Bookmakers giving some advantage to Spain, but you can't understimate Sweden - team that kicked out USA. They weren't favorites against Japan too.
I would prefer to see Spain in the final. It would be interesting to see what odds for this game you guys have.

I don't think Spain will escape in this semi-finals, because Sweden has potential squads that will make the match difficult for Spain strikers to score a single goal from this match, because Sweden defenders are mighty to secure the goalpost through out the match. Based on their last match, showed that Sweden will not allow penalty shootout to occur than to use their possible tools to achieve a goal that will bring victory at the end which will be the wish of Sweden Because they are not good in penalty shootout. This match it will going to be a tough match in the beginning but Sweden will defeat Spain 1-0 before the end of the match.

Judging by the teams that have qualified for the FIFA Women's World Cup tournament, I think we might have a new winner of the competition. Spain and England looks like the teams that'll make it to the final of the this edition.
 The Australian women's team who would play their semi final game against their England counterparts I think might pull the a big surprise if not carefully tacked by English women. Sweden on their other side isn't also a team to write off making the semi final matches a tough one for the four teams involved.

Whichever team will go to the final and who manages to lift the trophy will be their first title for them in this tournament.
Your prediction might be right because Spain and England are relatively the strongest and currently the favorites, but if you look at Sweden's game when they beat Japan they appeared very impressive with their excellent attacks as well as in defense because in the second half, Japan appeared to attack but Sweden managed to break attack well even though Japan managed to score one goal.
Sweden has been to the final once only losing to Germany, England's best achievement is ranked third while Spain and Australia will be the first finals if they manage to beat their opponents. In my opinion, this semifinal match will be more interesting because the four teams are the best.
It would be very surprising if Sweden vs Australia went to the final, because as the host of course Australia was very motivated to go further because of the support of the spectators.

None of the teams were champions of a world cup, they will do everything to achieve this feat.
Sweden is a dangerous team, they managed to eliminate the USA and also Japan, but on the other hand Spain is also having an excellent performance.
I have no doubt, it will be a fierce and competitive game between these teams, but I believe Sweden has a better chance of winning.

The game between Spain vs Sweden is about to go on with the favorite being Spain but this is going to be a hard knock to crack.
I believe the Sweden women won't let Spain get pass them that easy and they (Sweden) can even get a win in this encounter.
Since there meetings Spain have never beaten Sweden but can it be a different outcome in today's game? Only time will tell.

Today's match is quiet difficult to predict (although Spain maybe the favorites). Tomorrow's match is a bit easier, since England will be the overwhelming favorites. First half time is over But both teams are playing normally. Neither team can take the ball into the penalty area. As relaxed as the match was, I have never seen such a relaxed game in any other semi-final match. However, Spain has a lot of supporters and most people consider Spain to be the most likely to win the match.  But Spain is not showing much excitement. After some break the 2nd half of the game started still it is not clear which team will win the semi final.  It looks like the decision will be decided by penalty shootout

Previously the Asian region had 2 favorite teams Japan and Australia unfortunately Japan was kicked out in the quarter final and Sweden who advanced to the semifinals who will face Spain, currently Spain vs Australia are fighting to get a ticket to the final and the first half ended goalless I'm afraid the match will end goalless if that happens then Sweden has the chance to qualify for the final. Australia is also not in an advantageous position against England is not easy because England is one of the teams that is on fire, but fortunately Australia already has the experience of beating England last April so they have to use the same strategy to win.

If all matches end goalless then I predict Sweden and Australia will go to the final I think both teams have more ability through penalties like Sweden has many players with high accuracy in shooting one of them is Amanda Ilestedt who is in 3rd place on the top score board while Australia has a formidable goalkeeper reliable in penalty shootouts.

Not sure if we watching the same Women’s World Cup 2023   You saying Asian teams teams managed to reach the semis when the last I recall was Japan that was knocked out in the quarter finals!
And just so you know, teams left in the semis are Spain , Sweden, Australia and England ...Which tells me that you might have counted Australia to be part of Asia which i know it isn't ...


Meanwhile in the first semis match,  Spain and Sweden still playing a goalless game with less than 10 minutes to go in normal time, and from the look of things, this game could be going to penalties as no clear goal scoring chances have been created.

Nothing unusual in the match between Sweden and Spain so far. Spain were the favorites and they are leading by 1-0 with 2 minutes to go. They deserved to be in the final, and seems like they will reach there. Sweden trying their best for the equalizer, but the Spanish defense is just too strong for them. It was Salma Celeste Paralluelo who scored the lone goal so far in this match. She is just 19-years old and plays for FC Barcelona Femení.

WTF? Sweden just scored the equalizer. Rebecka Blomqvist scored the goal for Sweden to put them at 1-1. Now in all probability the match will go to extra time, and then to penalty shootout. Even more drama during the women's world cup!!!

1^st semifinal is close to the end. As the majority predicted match is going so close, Spain took the lead with the goal in the 81^st minute. Following the goal Sweden have made a goal in the 88^th minute. Match is getting interesting at the last moment. Comeback goal from Spain in the 89^th minute, and now with the goal from Carmona the lead is 2-1.

Spain will win and proceed to the finals. Sweden may win by a stroke of luck like it happened during their game with Japan. People think that Sweden is the underdog because they beat Japan that had earlier beat Spain. Whatever makes them happy. Let me just tell you all that the finals of this FIFA Women World Cup is going to be between Spain and England. And Spain is going to win. I'll come back to this.

I think it will go to extra time and even a penalty shootout because it's difficult for both teams to score goals, but it's not and drama starts in the last 10 minutes of normal time, substitute players Salma Celeste gave hope to Spain as well as Swedish substitute players Lina Hurtig who provided assist to the equalizer the scores, but finally Spain managed to get back to leading with a very accurate shot from outside the pinalty area, there is something surprising because the success of Spain according to predictions.
This match was quite interesting to watch until the last minute, and tomorrow's second semi-final will certainly have drama again.

The first half of the game was very quiet. But the fact that 2 teams have completed 3 goals in only 10 minutes in the last stage of the game is really surprising. There was a lot of excitement in the game from 80 to the last minute.  Spain had another chance to score in the 90+5 minutes but were unsuccessful.
However, Spain eventually won the semi-finals by 2-1 goals.

Even before the match started I know Spain will win the match those guys are not joking at all and Spain is always full of very talented players the only thing that was stopping Spain from winning was the defense of Sweden was tight and also the goalkeeper was also good because there were a lot of blocked shots from Spain, the game ended 2:1 with Spain winning after Sweden equalized 88 minutes of the game and Spain still won, women FIFA world cup is looking more interesting than that of the boys.  and I see them being more focused and dedicated a lot of teams fucked up doing the men's world cup tournament.

Spain women's team's final is confirmed in today's match. After Spain Women's team put in a lot of effort, Sweden Women's team played a competitive match between the two teams today. I have never seen Sweden play as competitive a game as today's match. I saw Sweden team defenders working hard but midfield players not working so hard. The Swedish team had plenty of opportunities to repay the goal but wasted many chances. The corner kicks could not be handled properly and some mistakes by the Sweden women's team forced them out of the final match.

I thought it would go to penalties because the quality of the game between the two teams was the same and for a long time neither team could score or take the ball into the penalty area. But the last 10 minutes of the game they saw a great game and the fact that 3 goals were completed in just 10 minutes is very surprising. How did it happen? Lol. Such a game is not often seen.  This moment is very exciting especially when something like this happens in a women's game

They make it to their first world cup finals in the history of women football in their country. It was a close call because they almost lost the advantage that their substitute who came in and scored the first goal gave them when Sweden was able to equalize. It was nervy and both teams needed to keep their cool in the few minutes left of the game, Spain found a way to score another goal and Sweden could not double up. Spain in the finals and Sweden will play for third place. England will try to join Spain in the finals, I am sure they will be able to cope with the home supporters who will be chanting support for Australia, but they can win Australia, they have played tough teams in this competition.

For those who thought that women's soccer was not exciting, it was very nice to see a game like this in the middle of a World Cup semi-final.

Yes, it was a surprise result for me too, but Spain was lucky and went through. I am saying that Spain was lucky because all the three goals in the match were scored in the last 10 mins of normal time. First Spain took the lead in the 81 min and then it was equalized in the 88th min by Sweden. Spain quickly got another goal in the next min, the 89th min of the game and from there Sweden needed a miracle to come back.

A heart breaking ending for the Swedish team.
