It gives me joy that one of my favourite team are in the finals and i hope the Lionesses win the trophy i expected a tough semi-finals match that could have led to an extra time but winning 1-3 against Australia seemed very easy for them, and according to the statistics the England team dominated more and had about 59% ball possession with 480 passes making them have about 89% pass accuracy and 15 shots of which 5 where on target and 3 led to goals from Toone, Hemp and Russo.
 The finals is going to be a very tough one because the Spanish Women are one of the strongest team in the tournament and beating them is not going to come easy, the Lionesses would need to put more effort in both the attack and defense if they want to win the tournament and one player they should be very careful with is Carmona the Spanish attacker that very deadly with both feet and could score brilliant goals if given much chance, it a very tough game for me to decide but i hope the Lionesses win the tournament though it's not gonna be easy.

As predicted before the start of the match, I know that England will make it to the finals no matter how Australians try their best and luck in today's match to win England. England is in a good position to be the winner of the Women's World Cup title this year. The football luck is more on their side than any other country.
Still, on Sunday, the luck that followed England to win over Australia will follow them to win over Spain, to be Women's World Cup champions.

I don't necessarily agree with these odds, as I believe that England has a higher chance of winning. But I noticed that a majority of the sportsbooks have Spain as the favorites (although only by a small margin). Just made a bet in favor of England in Stake, as the odds looked attractive. In case Spain wins, then I will lose my money.

But since that won't be possible for Sweden and Australia, I believe that both teams will not play at 1000% of their capacity as if they were in the finals.
As Australia will be playing at home, they will have the support of a large part of the public, this could make a difference, but on the other hand, the Sweden team has more technique and is much more experienced than the Australian team.
For me, we will have a draw in the match between Sweden x Australia.

Without doubt, the France and England teams has been the best teams in the competition this season and deserves to be in the final of the competition. I thought Australia who has been outstanding as well will be England's strongest opponent in the competition but the result of their game yesterday proved that their Nigeria was their most difficult so far in the competition.
They now have the chance to prove who deserves it more between them on Sunday but from the results I've seen so far, I think the English team might be going home with the trophy

US women's team already got eliminated by the Sweden women team (who are playing Australia on Saturday for third place btw) in the round of 16. The only teams still in the tournament are:

Almost any outcome on the semifinals would have been great for the final as well. Now it is really the strongest teams who based on performance deserved it the most to play this final, but if Australia had made it, it would have been no less exciting from an enthusiasm point of view. But I have to say here that I am really interested in watching the match of two great women teams and it will be an intense one physically but also very challenging technically.
