I know Mbappe can leave PSG when he is out of contract for PSG, and there is nothing PSG can do to stop his transfer to any club he wants to play for. But it is very hard for players like Mbappe to leave for free.

You're absolutely right; Rodri plays an extremely crucial role for Mancity. Without Kevin, Halaand, or Doku, Mancity might not win, but if they lack Rodri, they could easily lose, as proven. Rodri serves as a vital link between the defense and midfield; Mancity is missing a reliable defensive midfielder like Rodri as a replacement. But unfortunately it didn't go perfectly and Copenhagen proved that they deserved to progress, even to the deciding match.

We definitely know the answer in the round of 16 because the opponent is the defending champion and also a team that has always been a candidate to win the Champions League in recent years so Copenhagen's chances are very slim.
