Playoff games are always more difficult because the responsibility is higher, any mistake can be fatal, so teams play more carefully. As far as I have been able to observe there is some change in the odds of the title contenders. Bookmakers increased Real Madrid's odds to match Arsenal's odds if I'm not mistaken.    Because now I see it like Real Madrid and Arsenal share the 3rd position with the odds of 6.50. Maybe it might be different on some other websites as it is like this on my source.

Truthfully I don't believe Arsenal and Real Madrid can be seen like they have an equal chance to win the Champions League title.

I mean Real Madrid are already having a much better season than them. Besides they are the most winning team in this tournament by far.

In addition, another reason is that currently compared to Inter the probability of other clubs such as Bayern, Manchester City and Madrid is much greater to enter the final.
It is possible if they can win against Atletico in this round of 16 but on the other hand we also cannot be completely sure they can win in this round of 16 because Atletico is also now different when compared to them last season.

Xavi is surely doing impressive job, and we can expect they will learn from their recent mistakes and bring improvement which is important and their chances for the defending of title are also not good because in La Liga they are having not enough quality but here they can do better and having fair chance for the going into last eight.

I think Xabi actually was doing an impressive job as at earlier this season they had a very wonderful and brilliant performance which cut across every of the leagues in which they found their self this season, especially in their domestic league where they did stayed unbeaten for few weeks until after the el classico the worse of their performance came forth.

Currently Barcelona is struggling in their domestic league so I doubt if with their present form they will be able to thrive in the champions league but then they are at a little advantage in the fact that Napoli isn't in a very good form either so if Barcelona take advantage of Napolis current form to their advantage, they will be able secure a win for their first leg in the round of sixteen which will mean a greater chance to get into the next stage but then I fear beyond the round of sixteen Barcelona may crash out so it's almost Needless getting pass the stage.

Experience works here but you have to also put in mind that the best team always win in the end. If Real Madrid won’t be in their best and allow Manchester City to pass through, they will win the title for another time in two consecutive seasons. Why does it look boring if Manchester City wins the UCL trophy again this season. In terms of strength, they are still sufficient and all their lines have quality players so they will be ready to advance to the final this season. We will find out once this competition restarts, which team is the most consistent. talking about Real Madrid and City, no one doubts it. I argue based on the assumption that supporters are neutral, without any tendency to side with one team because of emotions. This is purely a personal assessment, with the existing squads of both teams. plus, the individual stability of each player. however, when on the field, there is no guarantee that City will play impressively even if they play their core squad including Haaland and De Bruyne. In football, there are many possibilities that occur, including teams that were not initially considered or were not strong contenders in this competition.
