Just like you rightly pointed out, none of the teams which are considered as the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season is currently leading the league standings in their respective leagues and that's to tell you how competitive the current campaign have been to top clubs in Europe. Manchester City will face a strong resistance from Liverpool as they continue to fight for the English Premier League title, Bayern Munich also faces strong battle from a very in-form Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid will have to deal with a very consistent Girona and Inter Milan will battle it out with a significantly improved Juventus.

However, despite their current positions in their respective leagues, I'm still very much optimistic that one out of these clubs is gonna win the UEFA champions league title this season

yep, there is no favorite team here but we all here know which team can be candidate to get the UCL title but that doesn't mean it will be one of the right candidates because surprises always happen that we can't predict but in this UCL we will see everything the team that will qualify for the semifinals will certainly compete very strongly even though they are currently under pressure due to competition in domestic league.
here we can only speculate regarding candidates for the UCL title, such as Real Madrid, Man City, Bayern Munich and Inter these are some of the candidates who will become title holders this season and I just want to see some of the teams I mentioned can enter the semi finals to see very strong competition between the strongest teams in each domestic league.

I won't get hopes up but at least being able to see Man City and Real Madrid reach the final round has given me pride even though most would say that Man City has a bigger chance of getting the UCL title.

If we look back a little at the group stage, of course we will put Real Sociedad ahead in the match in the round of 16, because we know that PSG qualified for this stage thanks to luck. But I think now that PSG has definitely improved, Luis Enrique will try to maintain his reputation so he can take his team past the round of 16. Indeed, beating Sociedad is not an easy job, especially since Sociedad has qualified for the last 16 with the status of group winners. I also thought that Inter would win the previous group, but that didn't happen and they only lost on goal difference.

In terms of experience and squad depth, PSG deserves to be superior in the round of 16, and Enrique experience factor as a former Barcelona coach who certainly understands Sociedad, will be an advantage for PSG. Kylian Mbappe absence will surely affect PSG negatively when his contract expire in the team and, their coach need to start searching for talented player who can fill that position before the end of the UEFA champions league competition so that they will be able to prepare well for other competitions because, their fans are still expecting good results from their coach in the future.

It is not easy for Real Sociedad to beat Paris Saint-Germain, if it were that easy perhaps in the domestic league Paris Saint-Germain also often loses because to beat Paris Saint-Germain you just need to tackle or guard Mbappe tightly then Paris Saint-Germain will have difficulty scoring goals. Are you sure of what you are saying? Real Sociedad is good this season based on their Champions League group stage performance, as they finish first ahead of Inter Milan, and they are performing averagely in La Liga this season. PSG is a good team because they dominated the French League one, but their performance in the Champions League is not impressive almost all the seasons. That is why so many people are not hoping on them to do well if they are not of the same class as Sociedad. Nevertheless, PSG can still beat them to go to the next round, but they cannot win the Champions League because they don't have the quality and experience that will lead them to win the competition.

Real Sociedad could implement a strategy like that when they face PSG in the next match, but I don't think there is any need to give Mbappe a hard tackle. Because as long as Real Sociedad players are able to block and guard Mbappe well enough, PSG will also find it difficult to score goals by relying on other players, because there (PSG) only Mbappe is relied on for this, even though PSG could also use other strategies which are not I will fully expect Mbappe to score a goal in the match against Real Sociedad later.

The champions league will be back by next month,and the different teams that qualified from the group stage will face each other again.It is a period when we get agitated about the clubs that will win,and the clubs that will lose,but there is one team i'm tipping to lift this tittle,either Manchester City,or Real Madrid.But if those two teams should go to the finals,then Mancity will win the league again making it two in a row.
They have their best players back from injury now,which are  Debruyne and Doku,these two players are really important to City at the moment,and their presence in a match final will give them an edge over their opponent.

I'm not really sure if the UEFA Champions League Final between Manchester City vs Real Madrid will be won by Manchester City. If you look at its history, Real Madrid always wins when playing in the UEFA Champions League Final. Although it is true that Manchester City's strength this season is very strong, especially as many of their main players have returned from injury, it does not guarantee that Manchester City will win again, especially if they have to face Real Madrid. Even when Manchester United returned to the Final in the 2009 season after previously winning in the 2008 season, in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final, Manchester United lost to Barcelona in the Final.

I disagree with you, and I do not believe PSG will lose this game simply because you believe Mbappe is their only goal-scoring option. Don't forget that this team has more experience than their opponent, as well as higher quality and strength, so why do you think they won't easily advance to the round of 16. As you mentioned, if Mbappe is well marked, they will have no chance of winning the match. That is already a big red flag for them because I think Mbappe cannot be man marked, and when he does, they'll need a defender who is very fast and can beat the speed of Mbappe; otherwise, they can't do anything to stop him from scoring in that match.

I believe that PSG has more Champions League experience than Real Sociedad since they qualify for the competition every year because they are the best in League 1. Real Sociedad are performing well and will give psg a tough time, but I believe psg will defeat them and qualify to the next stage of the competition because they have many key players in the club that can make them win the game, but when talking about winning trophies, you can't include psg in the list because they failed when playing with big clubs because even if they join psg with Bayern Munich or Manchester City now, You will know they will defeat them because they lack players capable of competing with Bayern Munich or Manchester City, let alone Real Madrid.

This is one of the toughest predictions beause PSG could do really bad, but at the same time when they are in good shape it could also be a 3-0 at home for them. But Real Sociedad is by no means stable, so I guess there is some advantage for PSG, but it will depend on Mbappe. It would be too negative to call them mediocre unless we solely refer to the Champions League. In this competition I would definitely put them somewhere in the middle, definitely below Real Madrid and Manchester City. But just now when the second and so important half of the season is underway, a team like Bayern Munich is showing vulnerabilities. It's weird, but good to know that we will have some exciting games to watch.

By February the knock out stage for the UCL will kick off and for some teams, it'll be an easy slide through regardless of the notion of the strongest teams being the ones able to scale into this stage. City and Copenhagen would go against each other and it's very much clear that City would be the survivors. They've got the squad, the skillful and more experienced players in their team compared to Copenhagen.

 Their key men are back and set to run and definitely that's enough charge to weigh down Copenhagen. Yes, in their home ground, they may try to put up a battle but I'm certain that City will be capable to overturn them. They're way ahead of them in capacity and ability too. As always, the round of 16 will have as much fun as there can be in it and it's greatly anticipated. Preparations and games would definitely be intense too.

Of course for those of us that are football lovers and football fans, we are glad that the champions League will be resuming by next month, but I will beg to disagree with you on the clubs you tipped to win the champions League this season which is Manchester city or Real Madrid, one thing you must understand the fact that, this is the champions League and it's s home to a lot of surprises. for every club that have qualified to this stage of the champions League is more or less a winner, at this point the champions League can be so unpredictable and anything can happen, the football chemistry for most club have changed between last year to this year, some club have improved drastically and their impact on the champions League might be different, so I feel an underdog club might win this season champions League.

In the group stage, Real Sociedad could perform better. They even can be the leader of group D. Well Barcelona reputation has not been the Same for couple of seasons now. And also, it’s been incredibly difficult for Xavi to form squad rhythm this seasons due to injury and poor squad depth.

I don't the the exclusion of Barcelona from the list of favorites teams to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season should surprise anyone who's followed the proceedings at the home of the Catalan club. The reigning Spanish champions haven't been able to live up to expectations of the club fans since the start of the season and that's why almost every football fan across the globe will not want to consider them as a strong club that'll win the UCL this season.

The team have been in financial crises in recent years and that has limited their chances of signing top quality players that'll make them formidable enough to win the UEFA Champions League trophy.
