Im still waiting for the good news that will come from haaland regarding his injury. Haaland has always become the best one as a striker.

If I'm not mistaken, Haaland will return in February but I don't know exactly what date and hopefully before the round of 16 matches start he will be fit again. As a monster, Haaland is always hungry and wants to keep scoring goals, especially now that he is at the top of the top scorer list with 5 goals so far. Haaland competes with Griezzman and Morata from Atletico who have the same goals in the top scorer list.

Haaland is definitely very bored at the moment and I don't think he should rush because the most important thing is to recover from the injury first. I understand that as a young player he always wants more and that is actually very good for his mentality in Europe's biggest competition. I'm curious how many goals he will score until the Champions League competition ends and maybe I will predict around 10 more goals.

Guadiola will do anything to bring Haaland back before the Champions League round of 16, because I believe Manchester City will suffer in the competition without him. However, I believe Manchester City will still defeat Copenhagen because Manchester City is stronger than them and cannot compete with them in the round of 16. Guadiola wants to win the Champions League or Premier League this season again. Haaland will win the Golden Boot because I believe if Haaland comes back before they play with Copenhagen and very sure in he scored many goals when playing Copenhagen, since De Bruyne is back, he will receive many assists and score many goals and make the top scorer, I don't think Morata can catch Haaland in goals in the Champions League because I believe they won't last long in the competition. although given their current league play I believe they can compete with clubs in the Champions League, although winning the title will be extremely difficult.

The reason why I think like that is PSG's inconsistent look in the tournament so far. As you have seen PSG barely managed to make it to this round thanks to the results of the last match week. If Newcastle won against Milan we were going to watch PSG in the Europa League.    Unless PSG perform the same as their recent Ligue 1 performances Real Sociedad can make things really difficult for them.

In the group phase, of course PSG had to face clubs from England and Germany, this was certainly not something that was easy for them to miss. So PSG qualified for the round of 16 only by the difference in the number of goals with AC Milan. From this aspect, PSG can certainly gain a lot of experience in previous matches. Real Sociedad certainly poses a challenge in itself because they were unbeaten in the group phase. But for PSG to qualify for the last 8 is something easy. PSG can certainly beat Real Sociedad, but they have to win by a lot of goals at home. Because beating a Spanish league club when playing away is not easy.

This season, PSG has won 10 times and only failed to score once in their 13 home games (all competitions).
But it will be not easy for PSG to score more than once or win with at least 2 goals difference against Sociedad.
During this season, Sociedad has played 17 away games (all competitions) and they only conceded 10 times.
My guess, the final score will be 1-0 or 2-1 for PSG.

But without taking anything away from them, I don't consider them a strong opponent to French champions Paris Saint Germaine in their round of 16 tie. The quality of players in the squad of Paris Saint Germaine is undoubtedly better than that of Real Sociedad. An example is when Madrid gather a lot of galaticos like the kaka, Özil, Ronaldo, Benzema, Raul and the rest during Mourinho’s first season with them, this team were expected to win the Champions League and everything but they couldn’t because they couldn’t play together. It was when Ancelloti arrived and this star players  have reduced that they actually started conquering the world and they won a treble of this competition. Same thing would be what should be happening to PSG if they want to conquer Europe. They should go for young players and build a team and don’t force players like Mbappe to remain in the team but rather palyers that wants to play for the badge. Right now though I don’t see them winning the champion league but with the few signings that Luiz Enrique has done then i see them moving in the right direction

That's a good description of the problem that PSG has been dealing with. The midfield is what makes the difference when a team has such a strong offensive line like PSG used to when they had Mbappe, Neymar and Messi. It's like when people build their FIFA dream squads and they have a certain number of points to be used and then they buy the best three strikers on the planet, but from goalkeeper over defense to midfield they can only get the worst players ever. It doesn't work like that. The midfield was definitely the weak part in their team and I also think that if a team plays with three attackers, one of those attackers should have some more defensive elements in his game. It's not about running from box to box, but about keeping the ball secure and have control over the pace of the game. And if necessary, do some work for the defense of the team as well. You would normally never find Mbappe, Neymar or Messi close to their own box and that I think is too much offensive power when a team lacks the balance due to below par midfielders.

I support City retaining the title if they deserve it. Just look at how City was last season, they didn't give Bayern Munich and Real Madrid a chance. This season, City still has the same chance, especially if the core players in Pep Guardola's team squad do not experience injury problems. Nevertheless, we agree that defending the title in this competition is not easy at all. The reason is, every coach must prepare his team when they are about to play a match against their opposing team. There are only a few opportunities, in two meetings the competing teams must show their best performance. If they lose, it means they failed to advance to the next round. Plus, the meeting in the final round is a life and death match. There is no second match, if you lose it's over. That's why, I prefer to say that this competition is very much related to luck apart from team depth, mental readiness, performance and so on.

For me, City meets the criteria and has a high probability of that. In every season, there will always be surprises like Intermilan that is not a favorite at all. Apart from that, a strong team does not guarantee that it will win every match. however, because every coach will prepare his team to fight as best as possible. that's why, the probability of a strong team is higher and is also always the favorite. but it would be better, let's just watch and watch every match that will be presented in this competition. After their qualification from the group stage, and they were drawn against PSG, I just imagined that they will not go further in this competition and this will be the end of their journey in champions league this season. How I wish their performance in the league game is a a good as that of PSG, I would have given them some hope of winning the match and qualify for the quarterfinals.

It will not still be easy for Manchester City to pull this through for the second term consecutively. They look so good and confident of getting the victory this year again but it won’t be an easy ride for them. The round of sixteen is definitely aoane huge one for them, they'll have to work hard or twice as hard more like they did during the group stage.
But if you ask me in my opinion, they're not any better than Paris Saint Germans even if they don't have the same players they had from last season.

I admit that Real Sociedad's performance in the Champions League is better than in the domestic league, which is why they were able to come out as group winners and outperform Inter Milan who in fact finished second in the Champions League last season, even though they have the same points, but we have to admit that Real Sociedad's defense quite solid compared to Inter Milan and for me this is enough to prove that Real Sociedad cannot be underestimated in the champions league because they are very focused on this big competition rather than the competition in the domestic league where their position in the league standings is ranked 6th.

PSG's performance is a little doubtful in the Champions League even though this club performs well in the domestic league, but in the Champions League PSG is no better than other clubs and this club always has difficulties when they enter the round of 16. And this match will definitely be interesting and very fierce considering that PSG has a sharp attack line but Real Sociedad's defense is also quite good and I don't think PSG will easily break through Real Sociedad's defense with more than 2 goals.

Manchester City is the favorite to win their UEFA Champions League last 16 matches with Copenhagen when they meet next month. I do not see Manchester City using aggregate to qualify for the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League because they will win against Copenhagen at home and away.

Yep, city will be winning the game home and away. There's no doubt to think it will happen unless pep will be doing another experiment like a season. Pep was a typical of coach who was always identifying its opponent before try to perform against it.
Copenhagen was not a club that needs to feel worry about. It's caused by this club was so weak and it's so crazy to think manchester city is going to lose agains this garbage club. Copenhagen needs to feel worry about that coz the club can perform so badly.
