I see a clear hint here that the bookmakers are not sure that City will try to win this game or try at all. If this was a "necessary" game for City they would be listed as 1.05-1.1.
There is a great temptation to bet on Copenhagen or Copenhagen double chance (the odds compensate for the risk), but it seems to me more profitable to wait for the result of the first game and if it is successful (Copenhagen win or draw) then bet on City in the second game.

I don't think that there has ever been a game in the knockout rounds of the Champions League where the bookies gave odds to the team playing away from home lower than 1.1. Everyone who saw how Copenhagen played against Bayern Munich at home, knows that this isn't going to be 0-5 for Manchester City without any effort. The 1.32 rather reflects the possibility that this game has a chance to end in a draw. I don't believe Manchester City will be beaten, but a draw can always happen. I want to see how Paris Saint Germain do in the Champions League this season, they are in the round of 16 and will face Real Sociedad who are not favored over them. But given Paris Saint Germain's inconsistent form in the Champions League, it raises my doubts about them.

Manchester City's quality is clearly greater than Copenhagen's, so we are all quite confident that Manchester City can still win the match even without Kevin de Bruyne because the performance quality of all the players that Manchester City has is quite balanced so it is not a big worry for Pep Guardiola. I think from the past record and performance of a team you can easily predict how far they will go in a competition and looking at the past record of the two teams you mentioned namely Real Madrid and Manchester City, I think they will keep getting highest ratings because they have proven past records especially the Real Madrid team who happens to have so many young and experienced players in the team.

Not forgotten the performance of the other teams this season, I think they have have had good performance especially in their local league, Inter Milan has been in great form as they are the league leaders in SeriaA while Arsenal is among the top4 in the EPL but there is a doubt in them if they can maintain good performance when they play both UCL and league matches. Barcelona is not looking like a team that can go far in the Champions League this season since they are struggling in the Spanish league since this season I doubt if they can face and overcome top teams when they get to round of 6 or 4 where they are likely going to face teams like Bayern Munich, Manchester City or Real Madrid.

0r maybe, there are other teams that are able to get rid of strong teams such as Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and even Manchester City. after all, we don't know for sure which team will win the championship in this competition. everything is still based on assumptions and speculation, data and statistics. after the round of 16 is held, we will see the teams that were knocked out and the teams that qualified for the next phase. For me, everything is still a surprise in this competition. every team that will compete, including the teams that can be said to be mediocre in this competition, will prepare their squad to take on the match later.

Everything is still interesting, Pep will prepare his squad while waiting for Erling Haaland to return from his injury.

Strange reasoning. It’s just as strange as arguing that you can’t be a fan of barbecue and computer games at the same time. In addition, I am generally against being a real fan of any club - sport is entertainment/business, but not a religious faith (and the wars that result from this).
